Happy Sunday and SKOL Vikings vs. Bears...sorry tsk. Have Peder and his son here doing the last project on my list for the year this am. An improved secondary gate on one side of back yard...to keep Ollie safe and rabbits out! Had a lost medium sized pup in my yard at 2am last night. So sad. I posted the facts on my city fb page but no response yet....either it got home or it's still lost and it's cold and getting colder as the week goes on. |

I wondered about that rifle. Seemed out of place. Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, just put them to sleep a while to finish our walk. LOL I would never have thought of that.
I too remember hearing about the seed bank years ago. Have not given it a thought in years. Good to hear there are several in different climates. It is like a Noah's Ark for plantlife. It is hard for me to imagine who will replant if all animal life is wiped out. Maybe some form of life in the ice caps will spring up. I saw bacteria and even real live worms living in a glacier cave wall last night. The worms eat their way through the ice like earthworms do through the soil. No one said why they don't just freeze solid like everything else in the ice. Maybe they have alcohol instead of blood in their veins. I think I heard that some insects or maybe it was amphibians do that. Anyway, very interesting. Thanks. 6:28. The water refiection made it harder. Cool here and cloudy.40 degrees at 9:43. Debbie will "be doing dogs" today. I think this means she will wear grubby warm clothes and excise outdoors with some dogs at ARF. ( Berea Animal Rescue) Bye now EV1. Back is hurting this morning. I did some rehab workouts and may need to do more. |

Temps in the 40’s this am but will get to n70 or so ., Have had the heat on since mid week. Will be 80 for a few hours Thanksgiving Day! Up and down!
Pretty day, today. The amazing thing about ancient buildings and even early last century places is what was constructed without modern equipment! All literally man power. |

Historic Places of the World Machu Picchu Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use remains a mystery. |

Good Morning Beakers!
Lani, you find the sweetest looking cats and dogs... We went to Talon's birthday party last evening (his birthday is not until the 26th) and they were watching the CO vs KS game, another good win for Mike! Then they were watching the crazy ending to a BYU vs AZ game! The pool at Stoney Creek Lodge is indoor and outdoor, the kids had a blast! karen, hope the blood pressure is down! So glad the kitty has a forever home now! tsk, we have Earl May Garden Center that decorates beautifully for Christmas, love going there! I haven't been yet, maybe this week! Wow, you saved $32! I remember back in the late 60's, Aunt Linda was a 'couponer'! She belonged to a group that traded in coupons and oh my, the money they saved! We used to help her sort/cut coupons, it was quite a complicated deal! Coupons are digital now, for the most part... Phyl, loved the Pink Panther, Peter Sellers was so funny! Inspector Jacques Clouseau! So many fond memories we all have, I enjoy revisiting them here in the Beak! Puff, I am only 5'1 (I used to be 5'2") and there is one item i always get at the store, and it is on the top shelf in some kind of rack. I always have to wait for someone tall to come by so I can ask athem for help! Lisa, hoping your blood sugar went back down! Do you use one of those monitors that you stick on your arm? This is a very, very niche tourist attraction. It is indeed a very magical and shocking place. It is like an alien shape suddenly standing on a vast land. This is in Kansas! |
