Clynn, it tickles me that Kelsey thinks it's funny that grandma forgot to mail her birthday card. Did you remind her that she is still older than you now?    I forgot to mention your ice flowers this morning. I have seen about ice circles and other oddities from ice on large and windy lakes, but those ice flower formations are new to me. Weirdly wonderful!     Your mention of me flying a seaplane through treacherous terrain, and you driving with limited sight, made me chuckle and is starting to give me visions of "a 3-hour tour,"     ending up with all of us stranded for years somewhere in the unknown outback. LOL! Can you just imagine...    We will need to tweak the lyrics just a tad.

Lani, your Pontificating Pup reminded me of the sweet dachshund that used to live next door to me. I called her "The Velveteen Puppy." She was sooo soft! and Sweet! I miss her.

Lisa, thanks. I know what Bay St. Louis is. I have been to, and around that whole Gulfport/Biloxi area, and had, and still have, family in that region. I just wasn't hip to the abbreviation, "BSL," and I apparently missed any earlier reference to Bay St. Louis that would/ve clued me in when Karen mentiond it by the abbreviation, BSL.    I guess I missed out on whoever mentioned Bay St. Louis recently, and don't know why it came up. OK, reading on, I'm thinking now that BSL is where you grew up... sorry I didn't remember that, if that is correct. I was thinking you grew up in Louisiana and Alabama. Oh well, my memory is not good on the particulars of everyone's early childhood days. Sorry I'm forgetful about that.

Here's an early Good Night . Everyone... sleep well. 

Pip, Kopje and I, plus all the Gear, oh' lord the gear, are back home safe and sound.

I pack really light when I travel .. Pip & Kopje a little more not so much.   

We're still drinking coffee at 6 pm EDT & Mr. Kopje wants to go for a hike. 

I'm .. the best way I could describe it .. in need of some RR from my RR.   

I nicely feel like a Silva Compass sitting on top of LilBro's car battery with my time zones so askew the only thing I know is this EDT here is stellar.       

Got back to our abode very late last night after quite the logistical travel itinerary.
It all went very swimmingly actually. We love it when the best laid plans actually work out like best laid plans.   
The BWCA is not a real easy place to get in and out of and that's why I love it so much.
It keeps the riffraff like me out.   

Two people a highly trained/well traveled dog ALL THE GEAR IN and OUT of the places, planes and vehicles.
Arms and shoulders like canoe paddling noodles.

May the white horses trot off the inlets and lift to show all the shore wildlife.

It would be easier to list the ones we didn't see.       

Returned from cabin early this evening. Busy pleasant weekend with family and had fun on 4-wheeler. We went to Sportman's Club too.
We're exhausted. Knee throbbing for some reason. SED
