Now for everyone that is going to get wintry precipitation events this week ,,    ;)

I always like to think it could get even better outdoor snowfall wise.   8)

If precipitation is going to fall from the sky in the month of February north of the 40th parallel lets just say , and it will, one wants it to be just so cold enough to fall as little kid playground powder.

Just so cold Ice, Sleet, Mix and mud just sucks.

Or just Rain.  :)

Nitty gritty snow data at Crater Lake NP, OR. Annie Springs Snotel station.

Hi Clynn, Aww Thank you. I hope you pop into Cheers from time to time too.  I bet you're as ready for Spring as I am. And gardening and pretty flowers!!

BL, What do the numbers 1 2 3 mean above the pine trees? And btw no Elk or herds were seen last Autumn. Not one. Darn it.

Lani, Good that you're feeling better. I just got over the flu. Nasty! I had flue shot too.

Everyone rest when need be and build up immune system to fight germs. Come on Spring!

I agree with you all and hope Phyl is resting and healing.

Phyl, Hope your resting and healing. Prayers continue.

SED to Beak Room.

Came back after posting and seeing karen's post.

Karen,  Interesting about Chicken Place and KFC!! Hadn't thought about that.

Regarding eggs. My husband eats 2 to 3 Jumbo eggs every morning for breakfast. A few weeks ago I paid $10 for one dozen. I'm in PA. Yea I'm going broke.

I usually get 2 dozen for him but got him just 1 dozen that shopping trip. I "suggested" he cut back on the number of eggs per breakfast or there might not be enough.  ;) ::)

Tsk. I don’t know what size eggs you bought but I just checked Publix and they have a dozen eggs large free range Nellies brand and they are four dollars and something a dozen. They go all the way to 6.53 dozen and the Publix brand but they’re not free range or cage free. I guess that’s what they say.  Our prices are cheaper this week than last week or the week before I don’t know what the differences but it is interesting. I heard today that chicken Place is like KFC and etc. are all having difficulty as they are unable to get the chickens they need to fry, so I guess it’s not only eggs.  I don’t think there was a limit on the number of eggs we could buy but I do know that they had 18 eggs in a carton for $8.63. I think I don’t use that many eggs.

Oh wow LB, You sound worn out. TGIF for you. Good you were working from home. I forgot about your dental appt.

I hear ya about the nick picky multiple smaller snow and ice storms. Same here next week again too. I'm with you .. lets have one BIG one and get it over with.

I hope your comfy and relaxing tonight and can enjoy a relaxing weekend. With the nasty weather get under a comforter blanket and watch a good TV show.  :)

Quotes: I'll go with 1 but all of them are good today. Good choices.

Looking at #1 quote with the cabin. We've been wanting to go for the past couple weeks but couldn't because of weather or things here at home. Weather there is much colder and snow and ice much worse on mountain. We wanted to go this weekend but nope because of weather here at home and worse at cabin. We'll get there eventually. Should just stay there all summer.  You'll find me on the front porch.  ;D Geesh I just remembered the porch Christmas decorations are still on railings and door. Oh well.

LISA   So you got to keep the tools - icing bags etc?  Fun time.  I would enjoy doing that.

So here we go.  My store brand dozen eggs $7.99 today ( those were the cheapest.) Limit 2.  Guess I won't need eggs for awhile.  ::) ::)

Wow! Still got blinds up.  Looked out to see if sun went away yet in back.  It did, but I may never close the blinds again because when I looked out I saw the neighbor across the commons, pretty far,  walking in his backyard with a rambunctious little golden retriever pup.  So cute.  Jumping this way and that way.  Then running in a circle around the man's legs. Ho Ho Ho ! I will be watching out for them a lot!!!!
I have some peanut butter dog treats in my freezer.  Duffey can't eat them.  So this pup may get them all.  Not sure yet if I want to take them all at once to their door or wait until I get close to the dog and treat him one at a time.  That is more likely what I will do.  The people there are very nice.
Well see you all alter my friends.  The eagles are getting very close to laying eggs.  The soft grass is all puffed up in ythe North nest.  The deer at the Maine Food Pantry for Deer are mostly losing their antlers.  Some were very impressive too.  I saw a big fight between two large groups of wild turkeys today, and last night late I watched a buck fight in the woods on the PTZ cam.  I think it was after 1 am and close to 2 am. The fight was between two lesser bucks, and it was more like play most of the time.  Both of them had small racks.  I am guessing they were 1 or 2 years old.  Still it was some thing most people don't get to see.  Ever.
Bye now.
