Yep! I'm still up... ;D

Many thks  for the snaps and all. Watched the video...I chuckled.  :-*   But our HM is just fine.
New nest---they do what they 'need' to do. But, yes. Will be sad.

Goodnight/ morning Decorah, Bonjour !

Around 02h00 am both eagles were tucked in a tree
An owl arrived and hit the upper eagle
The owl flew away and the eagle flew away too

Bonjour à vous, Philjo56...
Many thanks for the snapshots. Interesting encounter. Owls like to pester eagles. Especially the eaglets.

Nice to have Philjo here again, too.  Owls are sure pesky, bothersome, and sometimes deadly, to eagles, also peregrines.

Any confirmation about the Hatchery eagles building a new nest off camera?  Yikes, I hope not.

Hawk and wild turkeys at the water this morning.

So what is the correct name for the water running under N1 and also N2B -- creek or stream??

STLbf  That is Trout Creek flowing below N1 & N2B

Flowing West to East on this map.

It becomes Trout Run about 1,000 ft East of the Siewers Spring RD bridge.

I don't think I've ever seen it this low at this time of year.  :o

A few morning pics from Decorah - Bright eyes (owl) to the right of the eagle perched up top (HD), as it got a lil lighter you could tell HM was in the middle crotch, HD in lower bluff tree, and the turkey were back under the fallen tree.

STL - I have been watching all day.  I seems that sticks were being brought in this morning, but it also looked like many had fallen.

O Lisa - WONDERFUL shots!     :D

I wake early, I like hearing the owl hoots and the coyote pack celebrating a kill.
