Hello, Decorah nest watchers! As I mentioned on the North thread, the posts and pictures shared here throughout the season enrich the whole Decorah nest experience for me. Many thanks to all.  Looking forward to resuming the journey soon!

It's October!  :)  Is there a date certain yet for cams to go live? I see Oliver posted pics on Explore from the 19th, but they are from September. If nestorations have already begun, I do hope they build bigger this year.

Welcome back to a new season at Decorah.  RRP has left a generous donation for the eagles on N1!  And a sub-adult is visiting the top of one of the bluffs.  Lovely.

Welcome back, everyone!

The only pic I took this afternoon was of the sub-adult

Partial eclipse dimming the sky around GSB.  Nice way to introduce the new season for Decorah and Decorah North cameras to come back online at noon.

Isn't it just great to have the eagle cams back live?  Now I have a good excuse to avoid housework again.
Few pics from the area.  The cam ops are showing us panning views of the whole area.
I forget the name of the white horse. . . .

Here's two BEs perching in a favorite spot at Pond bluff top this morning.  Likely HD and HM.  Go to rewind at about 9:00 for takeoffs, flying here and there, and more perching.  Still looks like the fish donation is intact on N1.

A few pics from this morning - HM & HD showed up on bluff perch.  One of them moved to the end of the branch, and the branch broke and went down with stick, recovering and landing in pine by middle bluff.
