Phyl and Lisa, great pics of the Hatchery pair in a favorite perching tree at the Pond Bluffs, and flying!
They are hanging out around the Pond Bluffs often this fall as the camera have come back on.

Has anyone actually spotted HM or HD on/in the N1 nest or tree yet ?

I hope they are not too spooked by how all those 'flying fish' ended up in the nest ?   ;)

Morning pics from Decorah - HM & HD were busy going from bluff perch to a tree below the first bluff this morning, gathering a few stick.  I hope they are not trying to make a nest in the bluffs.  HM was above the N1 tree earlier, and HD finally landed on the Y!

I didn't want to be titled worrywart BUT Since things were turned back on I thought that they were doing a lot of checking out sticks/branches, looking for building materials, and observing from above to see whatever.  Recalling too that original nest at Decorah was on the cliffs, before with original Mom.  Even M and D liked just sitting on the edge over the cliffs and watching their realm for quite a feww years.  Youngins too spent much time there just sitting and summing up the territory.

Time will tell.

Funny video of HM on the branch that broke off!  They gather sticks for the nest by bouncing on dead limbs, but usually are quick enough to grab the broken part and carry it off.

Not sure which tree is the dead one that one is perching about 10:00 this morning.
Great to see one of the Hatchery pair on the Y for a short time just after 10:00.
Three wild turkeys feeding way out in the pasture up the creek/stream from N1, about 4:30 this afternoon.

No views of HD or HM on the N1 nest so far.  Maybe they are spooked by the barn construction up past the horse barn.  But we know they are nearby, so maybe tomorrow.

Not much Trout Creek flow to be feeding on there ..  :o

Trout Run directly from the Spring is the Yum Yum spot Directly below "The Bluffs".
Yes Nest N0 was somewhere near here as you recalled corectly Puff.

I get 2023 here now.
