Lisa, yes, I noticed that HD was shivering also.

Watched the posted videos of the female pheasant meal brought to the nest yesterday -- very interesting to see DH2 react to something other than fish to eat.

A break from the rain.  DH2 has a nice full crop.

Lisa -- I see your second pic caught the pheasant egg in front of DH2.

Ginger, so the female pheasant brought to N1 as food had an unlaid egg that was revealed in the "ripping into" process??  Nature in all her gory glory.

About 7:00 this morning, DH2 woke up with longer wing and tail feathers than yesterday.  In the closeup, it's one wing on top and tail below. And later the cam ops got a great closeup of one of DH2's baby feet and a top view of wing spread.

Mid-afternoon at the Retention Pond, several families of Canada geese in the water and around the banks.  And what are those 4 pink trees in bloom?

Mom and Dad and DM2 were very photogenic and took some great pictures. But HM and HD have struck some stunning poses themselves. Simply awesome photo of HM, Lisa!

Closeup view of DH2 looking intently at talons or something nearby.  Perhaps choosing a talon polish color!!

A bit earlier, HD was aerating the nest, then preparing to leave for the Y, and DH2 had to get out of the way.  Look how big this eaglet has grown.

How could an eagle perch on the Y and not look regal?   ;D   The Hatchery pair certainly lives up to the territory.

Any recent news about Mom and DM2?  Did they have eaglets this year?

Earlier this morning HM brought in what looked like a turkey carcass for breakfast for DH2, and a couple of pics of HM & HD on Y this afternoon.
