HD has brought in 3 fish this morning, two of them HM fed to DH2 and the last one HD gave DH2 a bite, and ate the rest.  HM flew out upstream and perched for a while. DH2 sleeping after their fish meals.

Phyl, your wing-stretch pic is wonderful.   ;D

Watching at about 7:00 this morning, HM brought a good-sized fish to the nest, and DH2 grabbed her foot in the rush to food.  Happens every time "our" eaglets reach this stage of development.  They grab for food and sometimes get the delivery vehicle instead!  During feeding, DH2 is grabbing for bites now also.

And the area goslings are growing fast.

Morning on Friday, with haze again.  Geese families feeding near the Pond.  DH2 testing wings and trying to get a grip on a fish from yesterday.  HD brought a really floppy fish about 7AM.  Hear DH2 squeeing.

Great pics, Lisa.  I chuckled at the "patiently waiting" pic.  DH2 can be really grabby about food now.

About the nest shrinking -- no, not shrinking, but eaglet growing makes it crowded when the parents are there, too.  The nest has become very flat, however.  What happened to those high rails from a short time ago?

Thanks, STL, and great pic, too!  That doesn't look like a patient look, huh?  I have noticed that DH2 is grabby now and then.

I was just biting my nails when DH2 was near the edge.  Our baby is growing up!
