Nice sunny day today but boy is it cold out! I've had chills all day.

Cal and Jo hope you are both having nice birthdays! I'd like to have a piece of birthday cake right now with a glass of milk!

Cal, hope you get that tv situation fixed quickly. I think I would go berserk without tv! I have my kitchen tv on all day long. Not necessarily watching it but just for the noise. I don't like quiet.

Jp, hope the eye shot went ok today!

Lupe, good for you for having a good dental checkup! I worry more about going to the dentist than I do going to the doctor! My dentist does the bite wing exrays once a year.  I was up around 1:30 am this morning, too. Boo woke me up to go out to potty! He hasn't done that in a long time. I like to never got back to sleep.

Ra, is it cold there today? We got up to 46 but the wind chill makes it feel so much colder!

Jo, hope Joan is doing well today!

Have a nice evening Jewelies!

Hi Jewelies!  Beautiful day today!  Not a cloud in the sky and temps around 60.  When I got home from work, I went out and got some raking done.  Tomorrow I'm going up on the rooftop, click, click, click...lol...  to clean out the gutters... a little too windy today.

cal and Johoward... I hope you both had a nice birthday today.  Doing anything special?  Going out to eat?

cal... Did you get your tv going in your room?  Maybe you could sleep in the basement in Polly's bed?  Or, would all the puppies raise a ruckus if you're not in there with them?   I'd have a hard time going to sleep, too.  gotta have that tv going.

lupine... Glad you had a good report at the dentist.  What kind of specialist does your hubby have to go to?  Does he need a crown or something?

rues... It was beautiful today, same again for tomorrow!  I can't figure out why I have so many leaves this year!  Maybe because of the rainy spring??  I'll sure be glad when I'm done with all of them!  I don't know when that will be though.  lol

Hope everyone has a good evening!

Thanks EV1.  Joan had a terrible night and all day.  Debbie did bring our favorite pizzas over at 6 with a nice new Leatherman multitool to replace the one I dropped into the pond a while back.  So I had a good birthday in spite of having to settle up with the undertaker at noon.  Lots of good wishes from all over the country makes me feel special.  You are all so artistic too.  I feel talented if I can turn this thing on. Took me 3 years to relearn to chat with bear chat after they changed to Chatroll and Honey passed over the rainbow bridge.  I am afraid Joan cannot keep going .  She can hardly stand up.  Her doctor said maybe new knee in February.  FEBRUARY!  We don't see how to get through tonight. Well that is all for now. God bless those in need.

hi jewelies it is 33 45 in the barn with aid of furnace. i slept in the living room on my grandmother couch i love that couch hardly spent anytime on it at all in all these years jim has and he loves it. boo boo has spend lots of time on the other one and it kinda feels like it. i tried it first no this one is too soft and kinda lumpy oh this is all one piece and firm when i lay on it i am looking at the tv!! the tv! i notice the picture got real good on it went in my room and mine really messed up now so now the living room is really good but still an old receiver that cause problem. the girls drove me nuts when they came in the living room into everything running jumping playing barking jim and boo boo in his room trying to sleep griz confused wanted in my room so he went in my room girls in the kitchen girls whining and crying girls back in living room girls back in kitchen now it is 9 grrrr. finally they got tired and slept in the kitchen griz woke me up at 2 am in my room looking for me.

thanks neva and man that cake looks really good!

thanks nora how cute too cute to eat!!

hi johow! sooner or later you know it will be later i will probably need the new knee but if i did better with one than okay but not the surgery or PT part just slap one on and let me go. i know takes forever to get something unless its an er. but feb will probably be here before we know it. time go fast anymore. i also know its terrible to have a hard time getting around. can she get another shot? i was watching a deal on the california concords and how they brought them back was only 22 left due to hunting which you know what we think about hunters and lead poisoning from hunters and releasing them back very moving and i was hoping with all the fires and stuff that they are okay and i would hope they are protected endanger species for sure!!

well i got to get everyone wants to be fed and got lots to do today thanks again my friends! :)

Good morning everyone- Slept 9 hours last night- no snoring to wake me or maybe I just didn't hear it. Yesterday was beautiful here. In the afternoon it was above 50 so I sat on the porch in the sun for awhile. Of course I was bundled up but so enjoyed the sun- still felt a little warm.

ra- hubby needs to go to oral surgeon to have the tooth removed. He is on blood thinners and his dentist has never removed a tooth of his. I think it's for safety purposes. Anyhow they called yesterday to figure out when he needs to get his clotting test done before his appointment. He tests here at home so he just needs to do a test 24 hours before the appointment and take his monitor in so they can see. It gives, time, date and the reading. Clever!

cal- I think your name could be changed to goldilocks now- at least that's what I thought when you were describing the beds.lol

johoward- does joan use ice packs for her pain? They really take away the inflammation for me or at least numb the pain for a little while. I so feel for her. I know how you feel about techy stuff. Yesterday I mistakenly deleted an e-mail. I went on google and got the directions to recover it but it still took forever. But I did have success! Course- I probably won't be able to do it again very easily.

Time for breakfast- have a great day jewelies!

hi lupe yes i was like goldlocks course i would give those bears any bed they wanted if i did not have it would go get one for them. my mom could not have teeth removed either without that stuff blood thinners course she had to go the hospital for her test how neat hubby can do it at home. my kind of stuff. so funny jim came out with boo boo and he said i know you did not get much sleep  last night i said oh them girls yelling and them flying all over he said and me getting up and flushing the toilet all night i said well you cant help that the girls can and he said boo boo scratching on my door i heard that girls keeping him up toilet flushing keeping him up so when he went out to use the bathroom and he ate so funny he ran back to jims bed! jim said boo boo tired back to bed. oh lol. girls have their routine they are so good in my room go to my room at night and they get on their beds now during the night brownie squeezes on my bed by my head but really pretty good girls. oh going to my advent calendar real quick yesterday was so fun looking for them sheep how did that sheep get way up there!!

Hi EV1,   Joan has gone in to bed early.  Very long hard day.  Hard to get a refill on Voltaren pain cream.  Wrong doctor sent rx to wrong drug store 45 miles away instead of 1 mile away where we got it the first time.  Lots of pain again.  Draining her down. So sad.  She did get a nice Christmas card in the mail today.  Cheerd her up because it had two dogs on it.
How did you make out birthday wise Cal?  I asked for two things for my birthday.  I got them both, and it was nice.  Debbie got me a nice Leatherman tool and our little Mary, who got married one year ago in the Arcade got me a new hook extractor so I wont have to drop my nice Leatherman in the pond again.  Usually I just don't ask for anything. I take my chances with what they want to get.  This has not worked well.  I have got some really weird gifts over the years.  I did get lots of nice calls and best wishes.  It has been hard dealing with Joan's needs and all the arrangements for Bruce's final doings.  I just so wish people would just do their jobs right the first time.
Well it looks like this game is in the books.  The Bears are just too tough for the Cowboys.  Good game though.  Hard fought, but clean.
GOOD NIGHT NOW GOD BLESS.

Jo, so sorry Joan is in so much pain and not doing well on top of you losing Bruce.  It makes it hard when it's close to Christmas too.

JP I hope you had a good trip to and from Miami and your shot went well.

I made my card today too and wrapped a package....

I also got my sister's stuff wrapped and boxed, tomorrow I'll tape it up and address it and get it on its way to New Mexico.  Also will be getting a needed haircut and Chester will go to the vet after that for a nail trim.
