hi jewelies i dont know what the temp is outside did not look in the barn have to finish my barn stuff cause i did not. had a long very day yesterday was tired went to lay down and watch tv and was then my tv went out came back and directv was saying doing a satelite search check call this number so got up put on hold finally got someone he was having me try this try that do it over and over and i started crying. i went and saw the one in the livingroom still working jims still working so he said must be my receiver and sending another one not till sat!! i have to have the tv and on all night to sleep so i got the one in the living room brought it in my room and quit working so put it back in living still not working says looking for signal 711 so jim got up and called them and was on hold for an hour he was mad finally got someone and i could hear him yelling lady said going to transfer him he said better not put me on hold put him on hold for an half he hung up and said cancel directv but i dont think so easy to do that and so i am so upset. looks like no tv till i can get someone to come here to the house. i got all this other stuff going on.  :(

cal... my tv said that last night, too.  I just said ok, didn't call, but didn't lose my signal either.  Don't know what's going on with them...  I just thought it was a fluke with my tv.

Good morning everyone- johoward- happy birthday- eating out maybe?cal happy birthday too- eat lots of cakeand icecream.

I was up at 1:30- hubby snoring and went back to bed at 4 and just got up. Looks like another beautiful day. Dentist cleaning went well- they did Xrays because it had been 3 years. No problems and my pearly whites are pearly white. Hubby has a broken tooth that we need to go the specialty dentist. That will be in January.  We ate at Hy-Vee- I had the salad bar- yummy stuff. A bit of groceries and back home by 2.

Hawkeyes played basketball last night- beat Syracuse. Some kind of tournament I guess. It's nice to see teas other tha those in our conference.Last night's game didn't seem so physical as last week's.

jp- have a fun time in Miami. Last time this year- very good!
cal- no tv until sat? oh no!  Deep breaths- Don't know what we'd do. Well I can watch some things on my lap top. Hang in there.

hi ra wow your tv said that too! i will have to tell jim that. he called them again at 5;30 am and got right in and first the man said could send someone tomorrow okay oh wait cant do it tomorrow so friday between 12-4. i left the living room one on it was still not working and mine not working. my plugs in my room been not working for a long time i use an extension cord but since tech will be here and back there i told jim maybe we should fix them plugs and we did one was on backwards! cause other one to go out. so now new plugs and i came in the kitchen thought i heard the tv and it was on!! fuzzy picture but on. mine is still messed up bad. the man i talked to is sending a new receiver sat but this man is sending tech man here with two receivers and that one in the living room been working on and off really old so just get two new ones. but i can sleep on the couch tonight have tv!! maybe a special birthday present to me!! you never lost your power i unhooked the living room took it to my room then not working should not of done that. no more moving them around

hi jp! your snowflakes are awesome!! yes get that eye ball shot so you can make snowflakes do puzzles watch tv hope yours is working! :)

hi lupe! i watched the cbs news on my ipad at 2 am. i dont watch a of tv but i love it when i do! was checking out our telephone one and i can get all the channels not hbo or sho but the tennis one too for same price. and sick and tired of being on hold for over an hour with directv.  oh no hubby broke a tooth! i guess it does not hurt him wait till january
