some bounce

My mom used to grow poppies. I did plant a bleeding heart in her honor as she used to grow a big one by the back door.
Our iris are just starting. The shorter light lavender is blooming.
I did some weeding and Camper lopped some errant tree plants from the service berries. We then covered the berries and raspberries with netting. And I cleaned up some leaves from last Fall.
My bro happened by and we conscripted him to clean the roof valley above our front door. He be tall. That plus a ladder worked well.  :o
A bit of rest and then some homemade pizza is on tap.

Good work done, tig
I'll have to look up poppies...didn't know we could grow them here.

Yah!....my deck stainer is coming tomorrow with 2 additional employees...going to rain on Tuesday and need 48 hours.

He was going to come yesterday or today but said with school ending and getting sick well, was going to try for tomorrow.

I'm anxious to put my deck furniture back on the decks, clean the grill, etc..been a long month without use.
I didn't want to put it all out only to have to take it all off again.

Having some issues with my legs...lower back ache, numbness etc....I gotta start taking it easier for awhile.

Later.

Lani-  you can  t r y the link  below  or  do a search   '  New Guinea's toxic birds"   for example. Ver y  interesting read  I'll say.

Tig what a coincidence...I'm doing home made pizza  too. Been planning  it for a week... two classic pepperoni, mozzarella  cheese...maybe
one w / black olives...on the side  green salad w/  olive  oil and  v inegar dressing and several glasses  of 'the red'...it's been a stressful week and all.
Poppies...pop-pe-zzz  beware the  Papaver somniferum, variety.  ;D

I have tried to post with, and without a pic in my post.  I get this error when I do.

count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, null given

I just had the same issue - it would preview ok, but post would either give the error message or lock up the editor page.  No problem in a different forum.  I backed out of the editor here and then copied it from the other forum and then it posted fine.

added - this message took about 15 seconds to post... :(

Good Morning Beakers!

Lori, good to see you!  The cupcakes sound delicious, I think I'll have one with my coffee! Hugs for you and Destini...

Lani, my cats are Fancy Feast cats too, Harley wants pate, Sam and Sophie want the gravy lovers. Constantly sniff and walk away, but some back when I am not looking to eat. They eat a lot of dry, the same kind you give yours (Purina Indoor Advantage). Sam was frolicking with his Meowijuana Cigar, it was so funny. I recorded a video on my phone but can't post it.  :(

oldguy, sounds like there is a ghost in the Beak machine... Maru is 18, love seeing him roam around wearing two boxes!  It has been fun watching Bellamy and the boys grow! The boys are bery shy, Bellamy makes up for it. She reminds me of Bella!

tsk, seems like all of our cats are Fancy Feasters! Mine will appear to really like one, then won't touch it later. I have spent time at PetsMart choosing this and that to test with them. If they like it I order a case. Then they don't like it anymore. I have also donated several times to Furry Friends Refuge!

Phyl, I love that picture of Maggie...

Lisa, I will have the Munchkins every Wednesday, starting this Wednesday! And Ed is retired now, so he will be the one to take them to the park! I have been gathering their surprises, I always put them on top of the toybox, that is the first place they go to. Most surprises are things Ed picks up at the thrift stores. I keep forgetting to take a picture of my new mailbox planter!!! I will do it today!

BL, thanks for the videos, the cats smelling...I have seen that look after butt sniffing!

kb, Ed's yellow Iris is just about done blooming, so pretty!

tig, sounds like you did a lot of work in the yard!  Your comment on the tall guy, I often have to wait for a tall person to come near when I want something on the top shelf at the grocery store... and we are shrinking a bit every year...

baz, glad to hear that your niece is okay, what a scary time!

HAVE A GREAT DAY SSRL

OLDGUY    Maru is really getting on now  :o   Quite a grooming session for that shepherd.  Love her bee helmet.  Been a long time now watching Bellamy grow up.

LANI   They had some rhubarb already at the market so made some strawberry rhubarb sauce.  I will get more next week and freeze some.   Lulu devours catnip leaves.  LOL  but many cats do not like the fresh.

CLYNN   Beautiful pink morning.  Wish the weather was pink  ::)   Lulu does the same - sniffs and walks away.  Notice it is gone later.   Lulu gets dry Iams  for Indoor cats

PHYL   I love that blue!!
