Good Morning Beakers....Happy Caturday!

clynn - Yes, felt very loss with no internet, and Jeff was in the middle of teleworking, too.
Love that....cat village...LOL  Awww, DNF and her eggs.

tsk - The tarps are for the wind, but also to keep my nosey neighbor from looking thru the slats.  I had notice a few months ago, that he had a cam sitting outside where he places his garbage cans, and it was pointing straight at my back door.  I felt that was a lil too much like invasion of my privacy.  My trail cam is not pointed at his home.

tig - Hope you enjoyed your movie.

BL - Just call us the CRAZY cat people!  ;D ;D

karen - Yes, lil Spotty  ;D

kb - Wow, the snow art!

Lani - There are two tuxedo's in the B&B.  Lil Spotty and Big Spotty.  Big Spotty has more black on his body.

baz - Aww, Wisdom  :-*

Phyl - Thanks  :)  Thanks for the 365.

Interesting posts from you clynn this morning...

Sounds like Betty Crocker oatmeal; it is my fav at any rate.  What makes hers the best is the way the raisins are treated.  Boil /simmer for a while to soft, but save the juice.  Definitely added to recipe.  Then that juice is then poured in to add to the liquid - yummy.

Loved the lineup of the  pets - How to accomplish that and the patience for both animals and camera person?  That would be a job.

Even the cat lineup - What a beautiful cat family.  Mom is a great greyish color.  For the little ones I'd like the baby spotted.

Another inch to inch/half last night.  Waiting for the temp to dive next.

Morning All

My caption would be: "you go first, no you go first".....emperor penguin chicks take their first jump into the water from a 50 foot cliff!

I turned the music off, not my cup of tea.

Thanks, Lani

Yah!...Chris just tried out our battery powered snowblower and finished the driveway for me. Boy, it's light and worked well on this type of fluffy snow...maybe 2 1/2? inches.
I followed with clean up.

Now off to push/shovel the snow off the decks.....Later

Wow that deck shoveling wasn't bad, in fact a titch enjoyable!
Not cold, it's 19 above!

Even hippier hipster here. Put in my air pods I just got and played my playlist while shoveling, sweeping!
What a difference it makes for me......and, seems to bring me even closer to Scott as we so often shared music together.

Thanks, Phyl I enjoy so much being his mommy..cause he's such a good boy!

Down into the polar vortex for the next week upcoming....I'm ready.

Great caturday posts From all the beakers, nice valentines pictures From TIG. Clynn, Where do you ever find all the pictures you post thanks to all
Weather here is odd as it is 78° and yes the water is gone from the yard. We are expecting rain tomorrow so there may be some for a short time again and then we’re getting more seasonable temperatures.  I am really ready for a cool down. The taste of winter we had with the snow day was about all the cool weather we have had this year we have been running at least 14° above normal if not more.
M 15 and F23 or mighty Mike and Flossie as I call them have been busy at the nest, bringing in sticks, digging in the bowl and getting ready for a new family this morning. Mike had to chase an intruder away but this afternoon things are quiet. Only time will tell if we will have more babies.

PHYL   I can hear the Mission Impossible music too  ;D

LISA   Cute Caturday - fried chicken  :D   Dual purpose tarp  :o

PUFF   Yes after breakfast I snow blowed about 1.5" off the driveway and front walk.  A neighbor had already done the public sidewalk on our whole block.  We kind of doo that here. Whoever is out there first...          ((((PUFF))))

TIG   Awwww... How sweet are those pics  ;D ;D

KB   Boy that drop is something else.  I didn't like the music either  LOL    Baby geese have a similar jump  - not as far but more fragile.  Wonder if any penguins die doing that jump.  Where do they come back to land??   That was some good exercise for Chris.  Glad you like the battery powered.

KAREN    Handsome wood carving sculpture of a rose tree  :)

Good Afternoon,

kd, Whoa to that snow art! Awesome!

BL, I wondered the same initially about the snow art.
Sounds like you were headed to a good night's sleep.  :)

clynn, "My cat is an asshole" ..... Loved it. LOL  ;D

Phyl,  Your Caturday photo kept me laughing.  ;D

tsk, No to cabin this weekend. We're planning to next weekend. The guys signed up for Coyote hunt.  :(
Charlie/hubby bought a coyote call. It looks like a small radio. Cranks up very loud. And oh my gosh! There are so many different calls. Some are hard to listen to sounding either scary or very sad. One made me teary. The hunt is at night so I'll definitely be inside.

Tig, Very nice pics of you and Camper! I like your hair style and pretty sweater.

kb, The Emperor Penguins!! The first jump I was horrified thinking poor penguin! Then the second. By the time the third jumped I had the giggles that turned to laughter watching all the jumps. Holy!! At first I felt bad laughing until I realized they were okay upon landing.  ;D

Happy Caturday!  :D

This is Lily, my neighbor's meanie Maine Coon Cat - LOL! Another "A-hole" - LOL, must be related to Kathy McDonough's cat in Clynn's post this morning!!   ;D ;D ;D  My neighbor took this selfie of her and her cat, Lily, today when I went out for a walk. Don't let Lily's relaxed "in the lap" Caturday pose fool you!! My neighbor's 2-year old granddaughter calls Lily "Mean Cat." That's the name her granddaughter has for the cat!! Apt!!

Heeerrrrre's Lily!  ;D
  ;D ;D

Clynn, LOL on Kathy McDonough's "Asshole" cat!!   ;D ;D I love oatmeal cookies! Any kind!  So, is tomorrow Bella's birthday? For some reason, I was thinking it was in March. Get those presents wrapped!  ;) :D

Tig, great pics! You look very pretty, and I love Camper's shirt!  ;)  Happy couple in love, for sure!  :) :-*

Lani, glad Mike's home. Guess it's a quick wash, dry, and re-pack for his next trip! Yay for you getting some rain! Finally! Like Clynn, I can smell that rain-soaked pine forest from here! :)

Lisa, you and I are next in line for the stormy line affecting Phyl. I don't think you or Jeff will be crossing the bridge tomorrow or Monday - big, big wind coming your way with that storm!! And another right behind it - with more snow/ice! Y'all be careful. Yay for that great Cat Condo set-up you and Jeff have put together. Love the pic!!  :) :-* :-*

Phyl, glad you got good news about your knee, in terms of structure. Hope you're feeling loads better after the fluid/clot removal, too! Stay safe - stormy weather - some getting really severe stuff, like tornadic weather, and major flooding - hopefully, not your town! I bet your pond and creek will be running way high!

KB, glad the new snow blower worked great!

Puff, I like Betty Crocker's oatmeal raisin cookies - but I need someone else to make them for me!  ;) ;D

BL, glad you, Pip, and Kopje are getting some nice, restful downtime at home, with lots of sloppy llama kisses.  ;) :-* Boy, Maine, and the northeast, are getting ready to get slammed big time! May set a record low pressure for February there, too, as that storm intensifies and approaches... supposedly will intensify quickly, approaching bomb cyclone status, and may turn into a for-real big time nor'easter!  Gonna make for some record-breaking stats, if the forecast verifies!  P.S. I want your laundry room set-up!! My kind of place!!

Oldguy, glad you didn't get too much more snow the other day, but I guess you're getting another round today, maybe? Oh, and that tundra-like temps - coming to you and so many in the midwest, and northeast. Stay inside, and stay warm! Thinking of your MIL, and hoping she is recovering.

TSK, that was so nice of your neighbor to clear your walk! I love Wisdom's story - and that video of her with her fluffy little brown chick was sooo sweet!! She was just preening and loving on that chick... love it!  :-* :-*  The Laysan Albie chicks are brown -  different from the Royal Albatross' white chicks!

Hi Paulie! Nice to see you visiting and posting here in The Beak!  :)

Lori, I loved your Valentines Day post, and I'm still snacking on all those goodies!! Hugs to you and Destini!  :) :-* :-*

Karen, glad your "swimming pool" yard area drained... maybe in time to get re-filled. LOL, Piper may need a rubber ducky float!  ;) :D :-*  Like this!!
  ;D

Waving to All the Beakers!  Stay warm and safe, All!  :)
