Beautiful Valentines Beakers! 

Clynn, We had almost an inch of rain! So nice!!!!  ... I love seeing The Big Bear Lake eagles nest without snow!! YAY!! Wonderful pic of three eggs... and North couple  ... Prayers for the Sauces eagles.... right now Nevada is on Pac Time and we're on Mountain Time.. in the spring, we'll be on Pac Time. And we don't change our clocks.

Tsk, Mike is leaving for Houston and then Louisiana on Monday, he'll be back Thursday.  ... MpMom watches the Sauces Nest and has a thread here in the forum.

We have new building going up in our area, three new homes and someone always ends up cutting line or we're having to be down while they making connections! So frustrating.

So sweet, and so amazing!  If you recall, Wisdom is a Laysan Albatross, and at a confirmed 74 years of age, and possibly older, she is the oldest known living wild bird, by far! The next oldest living wild bird known is a mere 52 years old. This is a great update on a bird many of us have loved from afar and followed for years. A new bird fossil shows avian evolution was much earlier than previously thought. A recently found avian fossil from the Jurassic period, of a quail-sized bird, helps fill in gaps about avian evolution.

Good Morning Beakers! It's Caturday again!



baz, very interesting, about the bird fossil, I have always been amazed at how much information the scientists can get from a fossil or a bone! I read about Wisdom several years ago, and she is still going strong! Wow, what a long life she is having, and still laying eggs!

Lani, I wish the powers that be would decide on one time, Daylight Savings or not, just pick one! They have talked about it for years! Seems every time they vote it's a tie. So they should take a poll, ask 'who cares' which one and then pick the one that AZ uses so nothing has to change. Mike has to travel again? Poor guy, he just got back! So Mike is an oatmeal cookie fan! I have a Banana Oatmeal cookie recipe that I got from Ed's Mom, it's Ed's favorite. I think I have posted the recipe before. I love oatmeal with raisins!

karen, oh I do hope SWFL has a second clutch!  There is still time!  Has your backyard lake resided? TWC says occasional snow showers for today, but less than an inch accumulation. I have to get Bella's presents wrapped for tomorrow and get those pink sprinkle cupcakes made!

BL, sounds like you have settled in! You are right about the old washer/dryers. We had a used pair when we got married, the dryer was my Grandmother's. It finally wore out, probably 30+ years old, so we replaced both. And have replaced those two since then. Waiting for the current pair (LG) to die any time now.

tig, you had a great Valentine's Day! We exchange cards and I always get Ed a bag of Turtles.

I love the name of this website.  Gotta have a sense of humor when you have this special cat breed. This is my kitty from a farm litter, father unknown🐆.  His 1st name is Monkey 🐒.  He has a few others😘You can't open a cabinet, drawer, box or appliance without his exploration.  He likes to flip hall light switch on @2am. Ceiling fan strings too.  The higher the better. He is wicked fast and being an asshole is his super power 🤣
