tsk - Oh no, not another alarm.  Ooo, I love that red bag popcorn!  Today was my yearly appt. and ultrasound since my kidney stone surgery.  Last year, the ultrasound did not see any stone in right kidney, today she saw one there. Follow-up in one year.  Good luck to Tim at docs.  I had my bloodwork done last week for A1C...still 7.3!  I was shocked!

((Phyl)) - Feel better soon, and hope you have a speedy recovery!

Lori - Waving at you!  Hope all is good.   :)

kb - Glad you got your walk in.

karen - Here is the pic of your snow you asked me to post.

((tig)) - Hope you are feeling better today.

Lani - Thank you, and thanks for the NEFL pic, so sweet of Beau and baby!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, oldguy!!!

PHYL   cozy corners ;D   Sounds like the worst didn't happen which is good.  You are doing well in treating the residuals from the fall.

CLYNN   Yes the one two nights before at midnight woke me and I tended to its removal from the ceiling on the ladder we keep upstairs and then reviewing on google how to remove the locked battery. ::) ::)  So this one at 9:45 was a blessing and the unlocking I showed Tim how to do.   At first it looked like the sheep were on their own and knew the way.  LOL   Gosh, I can't remember the last time we had 10" of snow.  Pensacola  :o :o

LORI   Great greeting for OLDGUY.  ;D

KAREN   Cute reaction Piper had to the snow .  I can just picture it.   ;D ;D

TIG   Are new windows on your list of home improvements - which never stop, I know!  What causes your low BP?  Dehydration?

LANI   Awwww   Sweet little NE31 gazing at Dad.  I looked back in my notes on Beakers  LOL  Didn't have that info on Aly.  Wow  she's a woman of many talents.  Thanks for that overview and the connection to Norway

CLYNN   A bacon cake!  LOLOL  AND a card cake  ;D

LISA   Good for you on your A1C.   When Tim last tested in Sept he was 10.5 - disastrous.   So we will see how it turns out today.  My guess is 8.0  Doc is 8.2 and Tim is hopeful  it is 7.8 - LOL  No money involved

No... windows are original. We had them revamped a few years ago, from sash to tilt in type (using original glass, wood) and refinished. Much cheaper than replacements. We also have the exterior combination windows with screens that my parents replaced the old storm windows with in the 1970s (or 80s?).

I have always had a problem with standing still. I used to (try to) faint when we had to stand around a science table in high school. I had finished a 24 oz. water yesterday just an hour before. I'll ask the doctor next week. I've watching my diet this week. Maybe I need a little salt? IDK.

Thanks Lani....Aly's artistic talent reminds me: I was a few credits short of a liberal arts need when entering Chiropractic School. So, I took a pen and ink class in LA....I loved it and my art teacher wanted me to continue. I had other things in mind. I have many of those pieces framed in my house of roses and vegetation unique to California. I need her to inspire me to take it back up!

Got that walk in with Ollie man today.....he was so excited as it has been a long time he got the zoomies while I tried to put his coat on. Exasperated I did my okay we'll stay home until he settled down and let me put it on...we walked with light flurries the whole time but the roads were safe.

It reminded me how I used to love to hike until I reached that "in the zone" phase meaning I no longer had any thoughts and was more completely experiencing my surroundings of nature.
I don't get to that point at all walking Ollie.....remorseful about that.

Take care all esp. Phyl..

tsk - What does the doc want Tim's to be?  My mama once told me that her endo told her at her age, they didn't mind if her A1C was a lil higher, cause in older people they didn't want them to get too low of a blood sugar and pass out.
