Very perceptive, BL  ::)
Tsk, Wintry mix going on earlier and looking more like there is more snow than rain or ice at this time it is supposed to continue all night, and I have never heard them say exactly how much we’re supposed to get, but if it snows all night ,  It might get up to 2 inches on the ground, although I’m not sure how much of it is going to remain, as it seems to be melting as it touche the wet earth , tomorrow will tell

Karen, good luck with your new dryer. I like my new Whirlpool, it has knobs, very easy.

SWFL update tonight: F23 spent a lot of time in the nest with rain soaked Es today. M was away most of the day. M and F fed the Es 5 fish. Es stretched wings, walked upright, preened and took shelter under F’s wings. M roosts in the attic. Sleep well Eagle family. Cam has a blurry view.. raindrops on it and it's very windy tonight.

Clynn, We saw Phyllis Diller a couple of times in Vegas. She was a hoot!!! ... gorgeous big boys sleeping in the snow. Gorgeous photo, I'd love to have one. Aly does ink drawings of the great plains buffalo. I have one she did when she was in college.

Kb, funny dog video and very smart cat.  ;D

Puff, hugs to Anna and Raul.  :)

{{{Phyl}}} thanks for nature video... Oh no! Sorry to read you had a fall. Sending prayers it's not serious tomorrow. Sleep well.

BL, funny snow tire chains....

Tig, brrrr, take care

Tsk, I need to spend time down stairs organizing some boxes too.

Lisa, Sent to Mike from Reserve, Louisiana

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, yes, I remember Phyllis Diller was a hoot! A real comedian for sure! SWFL, the kids are growing so fast! I also have been going through junk drawers, cabinets etc, pruning and organizing. A little here, a little there. Adding more to the Goodwill box.  ;D Looks like we got a dusting of snow last night, it is supposed to get to 35 today, 18 tomorrow, then a long string of 30s/40s. Wow on Mike's pic of LA! I just checked on NEFL, they are very wet but I don't see any snow.

karen, sounds like you got enough snow to build a snowman! did Piper go out to do her business?

BL, a very profound and sincere post...

tsk, sounds like you are sneaking up on the Spring cleaning too! A good thing to do in the winter.

Phyl, so sorry to hear you had a fall, I do hope a little rest and ice etc will take care of it!

Lisa, love your morning pic yesterday, with the tulips, the snow and the deer!

SWFL - Yesterday Evening - Karen Bowie

NEFL, I checked again on NEFL and caught a feeding just now!

Good Morning Beakers

Another chilly morning here, 15° with a real feel of 2°

tig & kb - I hope your temps are somewhat warmer today.

Phyl - So sorry to hear about your fall, hope you are feeling a lil better today.

tsk - I loved the orange tulips too in the morning greeting.  I need to take a trip to Trader Joe's.  I haven't been in a while.

karen - Did you get alot of snow?  My family in AL, MS and LA are all posting on FB at least 7 inches where they are.  They cannot believe it.   :D

Lani - A true winter wonderland for the people in Reserve! Aww, Gabby keeping her baby warm.

clynn
- Thank you!  So glad to hear that NEFL didn't get any snow.  Thanks for the pics!

Off to the doctors....catch up later.  :)

Believe it or not but a second smoke alarm started chirping at 9:45 last night  ::) ::) ::)  At least we weren't sleeping.  Guy is scheduled for Monday AM

BL    Thought I would never hear anyone say they slept in a caribou carcass !!  I sure hope you have a book of your adventures in the works with a bit of poetry thrown in.

LANI   Thanks for the SWFL update.  Those babies know where to go for shelter.  ;)  Aly is an artist too  :D  I love the simplicity of ink drawings.  What a surprise for Reserve  :o

CLYNN  LOL  You know me  ;)  I don't sit still for too long.   If I could get rid of stuff I haven't used in a year I'd never have to purge again!!  Babies are really getting big now at SWFL

LISA  A very tempting cinnamon cocoa.  :D   Remember to buy that red bag of theater popcorn at TJs  LOL  I buy two at a time.  :o
Off to doc with Tim this AM!  I think doc will now do an A1C which will be very interesting.

HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY TODAY OLDGUY

Good Morning Beakers ...

Today currently 10F feels like  8F; High 32F Tonight  10F

House Beautiful--beautifully done...

Ended up going to So. Hills Med Ctr  ER about 8:30 pm. Saw Doc who after examining ordered the portable
X-ray and 4 views were taken. The last was the most painful to pose.

Long story short.  Dx is Traumatic ecchymosis for right knee. Pending review of radiologist(who will see films tomorrow or next) and they'll call
me  if there are hidden signs of break in the  patella. For the present my greatest fear is alleviated. I am to keep elevated with intermittent ice. And walk w/a cane (my late mother's will suffice) and wear an Ace.  My knee is very black and very swollen  to the point I can't flex it.
I keep the Band Aid  w/antibiotic ointment on my deeply skinned knee for a couple of days more then take it off to allow the air to finish healing. Anyway it'll be two weeks at least at best.
Jim's taken off work today. And, I'm gonna go back to bed  for a spell to keep my knee  on some pillows and elevated  with a fresh ice pack.

Lisa-all the best at doctor's today

Tsk-  with the yellow field flowers --a glimpse of spring this AM

CLynn- tks for the photo up date on SWFL  and NEFL nests

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheers and RRP / families.

Happy birthday Old Guy.  Enjoy all that bacon y ou're gonna get today.

Phyl, love the decor in your morning pictures, would love to have that in my house! tsk had it right, ace bandage, ice and elevation! Your bruised knee sounds ouchy! Dad Bluebird, it's nice that stays around!

tsk, what fun you have had with the fire alarms...NOT! Have any gone off while you were sleeping? I think that would scare me to death!!  Yes, we all know well that you can't sit still when there is work to be done! I hope Tim has a good report today!

Janet, our family friend from England sent me this video, it is so cute! https://uk.news.yahoo.com/chaotic-scenes-hundreds-sheep-run-145726458.html

Almost 10 inches in Pensacola, Florida!

Ultimate Fudge Brownies is an unforgettable chocolate birthday dessert! The fudge factor reaches all new levels with chocolate chips swirled into a cocoa rich brownie batter, baked and then topped with a creamy fudge frosting!

I'm all in!

Good show for Pensacola!  Mobile probably got the same!
Snow covered neighborhood here but I am not going out to measure!  Looks very peaceful!
Piper had a shock when she went out!   I am pretty sure she has never seen snow!  She ran around the yard faster than a bullet and back up to the house behind some bushes and back  did another, WHAAAT?…. I said, SNOW!    What fun! 🤩

Pool felt warm. Yup, even though we had the furnace temperature set at 72 at times, one could still feel the cold coming in through the windows. I had another " I need to sit down now" episode while preparing dinner last night. Darn low blood pressure. I've had this all my life but very infrequent.

(Phyl) Ouch

OldGuy... Happy Bird Day ! 🎂

BL... Profound.
