Wow clynn I'm a ring person, already have a quartz.  But that is some hunk!!  Maybe too much of a hunk for my arthritic finger.  If I could afford another?    ::)

That has to be a one-of-a-kind discovery.

Happy Anniversary Mike and Lani!

It's my dear hubby's birthday!! Cozies should arrive sometime today! Mike will be able to celebrate in style while watching KU basketball tonight!!  :-*
This might be the last time we can order cozies, the price of burgers and shipping was oh so high! He's lucky I love him to bits!!! We may have to move back to Salina just for the cozies!  ;D

Kia ora koutou (hello everyone) from Ranger Sharyn Broni

Royalcam Season 10

Season 10 of Royalcam will be a big milestone for us. We are keeping likely pairs under wrap and will share the activities of past Royalcam pairs once the cam is at its new location. This will happen once egg laying has finished to ensure no nesting toroa are disturbed at this very sensitive time. We also want to include all options in our final decision of the new location.

Egg laying continues throughout November and both parents take turns to incubate the egg while the other forages off the coast of Aotearoa/New Zealand.

A toroa parent prepares to settle on their new egg.

You can see three nests in this pic, two occupied and with egg.

Lani, I think the gremlins have been switching things around in tsk's birthday/anniversary list! And we, like sheep follow along! LOLOL! Oh well, better to get more good wishes than to get none! Mom will spend Thanksgiving with her sister, my Aunt Linda, and her family. She used to switch between Linda and June, but now that Aunt June is gone she will be at Linda's. We don't feel we can do both Thanksgiving and Christmas, we need to be with Erin's family for one holiday and Mom would rather have us for Christmas! And now I see we have 2 Alby eggs!

Puff, you would love to see Ed's collection of jewelry! I have never been such a jewelry person - a simple gold chain necklace with a cat on it, small gold stud earrings and a gold wedding band on one hand and a gold garnet ring on the other. His sister Peggy loved looking through his jewelry!

Phyl, beautiful Larch trees in the 365, and such cute, tiny pinecones! Beautiful scenery! Becky and Jennifer made it home last night, all is well. Molly and Lucy very glad to be back home! Great shot at the Flyway!

Lori, great Birthday for Mike, you captured everything!

Escalante River, Coyote Gulch, Scorpion Flats, Utah The Escalante River is a tributary of the Colorado River. It is formed by the confluence of Upper Valley and Birch Creeks near the town of Escalante in south-central Utah, and from there flows southeast for approximately 90 mi (140 km) before joining Lake Powell.
The river was first mapped and named by Almon Thompson, a member of the 1872 Colorado River expedition led by John Wesley Powell.[1] It was named after Silvestre Vélez de Escalante, a Franciscan missionary and the first known European explorer of the region. Much of the Escalante River's course is through sinuous sandstone gorges. The river and the rugged canyons which drain into it form a key section of Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument.

Lani  Nobody mentioned the Cozy Burgers when I jumped over to PHX last month. Could have stayed 2 days instead of one and had a burger.  Is it only in PHX?

Happy Happy to your hubby.  Is that 55th too?  Do we even remember 55?   ::)

tsk - no I don't transition plants from outside to garage before inside.

I don't have the room in my garage for plants and vehicle. Will never leave vehicle outside garage as that would surely invite a break in where I live.

Phyl - of course I've tried all organic tx both inside and out, until they don't work.

Lani - sent you a PM..

We have a pest control co. coming Thursday am to identify and treat...will have to live with them until then.
