Clynn, I hope you’re safely home and relaxing with an adult beverage tonight.

Lani, surprise snowflakes for the morning gang! Fun!  :D

KB, glad Chris is feeling better!

Karen, Piper got the royal treatment!  :D Yay for your satsumas coming along with great timing for your holiday company coming!

BL, lots of good snow around. Hope you can get away to enjoy some before long.

Lisa, it’s sounding like any potential Rafael effects for the Gulf coast look like they will be long gone by next week. Unless it sends an offshoot plume of rain that way. Tho I don’t know what part of the week you’re looking at for that. Your niece will be happy to have your help. Hope all went well at Jeff’s appt.

Tig, glad the pkg collection was successful.

Puff, sounds like lots of rain. Hope the doc visit goes well and you get a good report.

Lori, I will help with all those yummy treats!  :) :D

OG, I might have to sneak a taste of that cake, too!  ;D

Phyl, what kind of shrubs do you like to use in that planter?

TSK, hope you and Tim don’t go too wild at the Ace outing! Just kidding.  ;) Glad to hear Tim is starting to get back in the groove again.

Thanks, All, for your good wishes for my LGN and Fam.  :-* As of early this morning, her labs came out of the critical range, so they planned to move her from her ICU bed to a bed on a regular floor. Last I heard, she was waiting for one to open up, so I’m guessing she got into one sometime today. Her docs still don’t know the cause of the critical imbalance she had though, but they have put together a plan, and if all goes well, she’s hoping to get discharged on Saturday. So if that happens, I don’t know if she and her parents will fly home then, or the day after. I guess that is all a wait-and-see. Fingers crossed. My Lil Sis will stay with Baby Bro back at the ranch till whenever.

I didn’t take my neighbor for cataract surgery yesterday, after all. She called to say she had the wrong day! !  ??? Anyway, instead, I took her today for her pre-cataract surgery visit at the eye doc’s office! Not sure what to think about that. LOL.

Good Night, Beakers. Peace. SED.

Karen, Reading your post about your orange tree reminds me of the Orange and Lemon trees we had in Scottsdale. The smell of orange and lemon blossoms this time of year was lovely to smell. When we lived in Scottsdale, in January we would to go one of our neighbors uncle's home in Arcadia and pick boxes from his oranges, grapefruits and lemon grove. The smell was delicious! I'm so glad your having guests for the holidays. It'll be strange to have only Aly with us for Christmas this year. Shannon will be leaving Tuesday for Nevada.

{{{Kb}}} very happy for you that Chris is better....continued prayers.  :)

Phyl, One of my walking buddies has a beautiful siamese kitten. 8 months old, and Wasabi loves to eat broccoli, celery, she's a veggie girl! She'll jump on the kitchen counter grab a veggie and off she goes. Have a lovely anniversary day.

Tsk, I'm so glad to hear Tim is feeling a bit better.... I hope he has a happy day and enjoys his birthday cake. Everyone needs a treat on their special day. Bless you both.

BL, Northern New Mexico is beautiful in the winter. When Mike was doing work in NM in the 80's, we spent a lot of time driving back and forth through the northern part of NM. Beautiful country.

Tig, very cool for Camper  ;D

Baz, continued prayers for Lil Punkin and parents.  Hopefully the doctors will find the answers to their question and she's able to go home with a peace of mind. It's nice of you to help your neighbor.... take care

Good night!

That was an interesting 15-20 minutes at NN field.  Watched a young coyote searching, stocking, catch, eat its morning creature.  Looked to be a field mouse = very interesting and determined catch.  Guess the goods off the deer were now gone.  Good work and patience for the camera person.  Thanks!

Good Morning Beakers!

It's good to be home! Had a good time with Mom and sisters, we invited family over on Saturday for cake and ice cream, so I got to visit with some I don't see very often. Uneventful trip home, so that was good! Still a lot of pretty trees down in Southern Illinois! Got the Prairie Farms chocolate milk and pork burgers from the locker. Wonderful filet mignon at the Haub Steak House in Haubstadt IN for Mom's birthday! She thanks all of you for the birthday wishes!

Lani, I remember when we were stationed at Luke AFB in Glendale AZ, there was an orange orchard in one direction, and a stockyard on the other. The aroma depended on which way the wind blew...the orange blossom smell was wonderful! Beautiful country in NM, I remember that we could see the Siera Blanca mountains from our house in Alamogordo, seems like there was always snow on the top!  Love your good night pooch!

baz, prayers have gone out for Lil' Punkin, hope it is something easily taken care of Glad to hear that she is her usual cheerful, happy self!  Prayers for all the family...

BL, don't know if I am one to revel or dread the cataract surgery on my one and only good eye... Are you heading out on another adventure before winter really sets in?

kb, good to hear that Chris is doing well...

Phyl, hope you and Jim had a wonderful anniversary celebration!

tsk, and I missed Tim's birthday! Glad to hear he is working his way back to normal!

TIG  Noble cause to honor  :-*

BAZI   Thanks for the b-day greetings for Tim. We did very much enjoy our slice of frozen Enteman's layered chocolate cake with an extra swirl of Hershey's chocolate and some Redi-whip  LOLOL   Nice that you can be on standby for your neighbor.    Wow and the docs are still puzzled at Punkin's wacky test results. :o :o  Maybe the extra days in the hospital will reveal more.

LANI   So happy to hear Aly will come down for Xmas.  Hope it is for a good chunk of time to make that long drive worthwhile.  Did Shannon find a place yet?    LOLOL  Wasabi   LOL

ClYNN  You are home!  Beautiful autumn pics this AM     Hope someone took a photo of Mom with her girls!!!  Sounds like the perfect 90th for Mom.  No thank you on Ophir pass  How do cars pass??

Puff, what a great sighting of early morning coyote on DNN.

HI Clynn, welcome home! Beautiful morning pics.... Sounds like you had a fun visit with your mom and family... glad it was safe traveling both ways..... Ed will be happy with the chocolate milk. How much do you get when you visit? The Orange blossoms and stockyard perfume... LOL! There's a great peach orchard in Queen Creek.... We've been to Silverton CO many times, and never driven Ophir Pass. What a view.

Tsk, Shannon will move into an B&B until they find something. She leaves for Nevada on Tuesday.

Phyl, Oh my, beautiful autumn day on nature video and then up pops a Garter snake.... heartwarming commercial.. I can't believe the holidays are almost here.

Good afternoon bakers the rain finally came last night and we ended up with 6.3 inches on the ground .pipe or went out during part of a heavy storm to potty and came in to get dried off with a towel .this morning ,although it wasn’t raining, there’s still a lot of puddles all over the yard and she came back in from her morning walkabout with her pedicure all wet She said it was all right though and she manage .  CLynn it’s good to see you back home safely ..
I am sure your mother had a lovely time with her girls celebrating 90 years of glorious life. Dinner sounds like it was wonderful.
.22 inches of rain expected today. Evidently schools are closed in Valdosta and many roads flooded out including homes and some folks were evacuated by boat. Much of this is not too far from where I live but I really never felt I was in any danger here probably not too smart an idea, but went to bed and went sound asleep  to the sound of thunder and lightning outside . One of the streets I travel a lot evidently looks like a tornado went through this road was also damaged or at least had a lot of tree damage during a lien. Our temperatures are still running 10° above normal.

LANi. Good luck to Shannon.  Nice to know ALY will be home for a holiday.
Happy birthday NR. Many more!
Baz. Prayers for  Lgn!
