Karen and Piper, Piper loves oranges! I thought our Bandit was the only dog that would eat oranges, bananas, his favorite fruit was strawberries and blueberries too. Our Barkley loved lemon bars ;D.... Roses, oranges, and flowering bushes, it sounds like spring has arrived.  ;D

{{{Lisa}}} you'll be a wonderful and loving aunt/friend to your niece. I'm sorry she's feeling lost since you're mom's passing. What a blessing you will be for her.  :-* ... best wishes for Jeff.

Oldguy, delicious celebration cakes for Tim, Phyl and Jim!

Lori, oh my, I wonder if Phyl and Jim will share that delicious cake. The frosting is to die for!! ..is that Lulu driving Tim's golf cart?! LOL!!

Hi Tig, enjoy your pool time.

Phyl, that owl was me at 1am this morning.... watching this morning nature video, makes me think of digging for clams, then a nice pot of clam chowder.  ;D
Have a lovely anniversary.  :)

{{{Tsk and Tim}}}

Hi Puff, Kb ;D

Our walking buddies and pups was in great spirit this cold morning.
And what a surprise to have snow flurries too! Sadie was so excited,
sniffing this and that.... and wanting to chase squirrels and rabbits.

Happy wishes phyl and beautiful day for you and Jim today.

I've also been waiting, for the rain to stop in my case, because I have 6 plants to plant.  Damage was done to lavenders and daylilies during summer by a pipe project.  Suppose to clear for tomorrow.  I hope.

Instead of rain, the sun is out!  I will have to check on ypthe latest gorecast. ,wevdo need a little moisture! Rain just started and we are scheduled to get anywhere from 2 to 10 inches of rain depending on where we are located and as it is only supposed to rain for another 55 minutes I don’t think I will have anything like 10 inches but it is a nice soaking rain for which I am grateful . Piper said she just went out so that was good and  I went with her and check the Satsuma orange tree. There are four oranges on it that are beginning to turn an orange color so hopefully they will be ripe and taste good when my friends come at Christmas .

He's better tsk. Course after general anesthesia and a ventilator his throat is sore....his area of surgery is sore and bleeding but not much. He's supposed to walk around 10-15 minutes for a total of 30 minutes a day starting today and he is.
Most importantly, the thing that brought us so much anxiety, grief, and suffering for 2 1/2 weeks prior is gone.

Now , just healing. thanks for asking.

Nellie needs a new battery. Turns out it is 4 years old not newer like originally thought according to them. Me thinks they didn't really look it up as my Jeep has 2 or more computer files for her under both Scott and My name so they merged them today. An older computer system of course at a station. Battery was just in the okay range when I brought her in but had been charged just less than 2 months ago. When I leave her sit for sometimes a few days or more at a time she needs a trickle charger which I have btw.

We went back and forth between buying a more expensive type battery for classic cars that sit and a regular one that did last 4 years plus trickle charging and that's what we decided on. Will pick her up in the am

Happy Birthdays and Anniversaries all....good times had by all I assume.

Tsk  these are small shrubs and I like potted ones on the pourch and deck to dress the areas up a bit.  On front porch
I have a hip height wircker planter that holds 3  mediium size plastic pots w/ saucers. The small 1.5'  starter shrubs are potted there.
I keep them trimmed to stunt growth.

Lani  sometimes Maggie eats banana slices; enjoyed the parrots (?)

Puff & KB thanks for the wedding anniversary wishes---it was a quiet one. Which is nice sometimes

Karen so glad you'll have Mickey for the holidays.  ;)

KB
tks for report on Chris.  I really was gonna inquire.    Glad he's up and walking & not overdoing either. And...the 'thing' causing
the grief is gone.  ;)
Glad Nellie saw the Jeep doctor and battery issue has attention.

Puff  I was pulling some weeds this AM and cloudy gray skies formed so I quit and got c leaned up. Will do more  when the skies
clear later.

KB  Good to hear you are both healing..  Love the walking!!!

Thank you all for Tim's b-day wishes today.  He sat with me at the PC as he hadn't yet seen the ecard one of my brothers sent so he also looked at the Beak cards.  All the goodies gave me an idea and when grocery shopping today I found individual cake ( frozen) slices  - 2 to a package that are cheating a bit on his diet but it is his b-day and we need something special.
He's really doing much better today  On and off with the cane, much less pain complaints, getting involved with his life again. Only short day time naps.   We may even do an outing to Ace tomorrow and get some more suet!  LOL

I clearly have not done enough Winter Sport in the great state of New Mexico _ my bad I own it.

I'm dutifully wanting to get my snowshoe dance on _ on one of these 'early' South Rockies snowstorms in NM.

Alas we're glued to the NE for life reasons.

Lisa I think you're Green Light for Mobile, AL travel.

KB so glad Chris is recuperating appropriately.

You gotta open up the garage door and spin tires around the block.
Nellie around the block every 3 to 4 days on that year Jeep's Alternator to keep that battery charged.

Some how you get my demented thought process.  :)

Some bounce
We spent some time on the phone with the credit union and then we went to the deputy registrar and ordered new specialty plates that benefit surviving families of EMS victims of death on the job. Our new plates will incorporate the word camper.  8)
