Thanks Lisa!  Nice lady. and one Kitty looks like Bandit!   Had a video of the black bears swimming across a river and frolicking up a hill.  Titled Nature returns or something similar. But i lost it.  Healthy looking bears.

Hello Beakers

Only 1 week to go until Halloween - the store is down to only 4 aisles of Fall items left, started with 12.  Snow blowers and ice melt went to the floor this week, so we should be about ready for winter...

PHYL  Loved the AM pumpkin scenes.

CLYNN   LOVED the "hardest word"  LOLOLOL  What a great street - Can't beat the midwest!   I'd eat at Canyonlands in a nanno second.

OLDGUY   I never knew anything like sand processing existed.  Amazing.   Bet you are busy getting Xmas up??  Lots of good links I can check out on hospital duty tomorrow LOL

KAREN   Couldn't agree with you more about not living on barrier islands.  Sister Kittens - At least all were saved.

LANI   My local group starts our monthly meetings as Zooms in Nov/Dec when half the group leaves the area for warmer climes  LOL
I laughed so hard at that last dog costume.  What a riot!  All were good but like you say - last one the winner. ;D ;D

Doing better - Walked 3 times in the hallways pretty good distances.  Sat up all AM in chair.  Lots of other details but hopefully home on Sat.  It is likely to be with a cardiac monitor and the drain.  His brother Tom came and was so relieved to see him better that he did not cancel his trip to Florida for tomorrow.  That is a good thing

Just wow, someone spotted this magpie in East Bethel, MN...just north of the Twin Cities.

Apparently, we have a small population in Northern MN, but not seen here...

CLynn easy to agree on those embedded ads; enjoyed the Marietta Bereithere Shop; nice ash lined street in your neighborhood; Carlbad
Caverns, NM has similar in theirs. Carlsbad Lunch Room https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/p/AF1QipPj9QQFlx1BB-xIh9UeIrDRA_kUIEMbXHZh0qq5=s680-w680-h510 Nice end to a day below ground and finish around dusk for the bats  in mass departure or the cavern.

Tig  how nice you're able to keep your family's home. IMHO

{{{Tsk/ Tim}}} so glad to hear Tim's recovering well...looking forward to your report later...just read it. Sounds good & so glad to read
he's taking longer walks in the halls and sitting up for longer periods of time; Tom confident in his recovery to return to FLA.

OG busy time for y'all at the Depot; disheartening about the beaches will take some time to recover, as with all else.  :'(   Thanks for Links and always good performances by  QKids; some good tunes from B. Boys and The Surfaris

Lisa/Karen many thanks for update on SisterKitten.org. I'm glad the 15 survived and  are gonna be TNR. Look for that notched ear folks. Either single or double. No interaction needed as kitties are part of a monitored/cared for  feral colony.

Lani all the best with you 'zoom" meetings today...hope they turned out well for you.  Dog costumes, ROTFL

KB nice snap of Magpie in East Bethel, MN.  thanks

Good Night
 Everyone... SEDs
Especially . praying for Sauces nest.   And, those  victims of natural and man-made disasters

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, oh those cute and clever dog costumes! Love the X video of the spider dog, so funny! I watched it 3 times!  Meetings! Ed has a zoom meeting every week with the whole group. He always comes upstairs, I don't think he wants anyone to see the Mole Hole!! Most of the time his calls are conference calls, so he can be on the computer doing other things if it's too boring...

Phyl, I can barely remember seeing Carlsbad Caverns, I think it was about a hundred years ago. Of course, that cool restaurant wasn't there. I remember stopping at Four Corners. The metal piece on the ground was there, but the only other thing was a trailer where a Native family lived and sold souvenirs. Now look at it!

oldguy, fascinating video on the sand operation in Florida. WOW, seems like a never-ending process! Thanks for all the videos, still going through them! I went to Menards yesterday, lots of Christmas on the floor, the Halloween section is shrinking fast!

tsk, glad to hear Tim is on the mend! Does he get to come home Saturday still, or maybe today?

karen, thanks for the news on Sister Kitten, a good outcome. I can't think of how many weren't so lucky...

Sydney Sea Eagles - SE33 fledged yesterday!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

KB  Cool catch on that magpie  :)

TIG   I had missed your comment earlier on the 2021 cleanup of the pine needles. So foreign to me .  I forget, are these white pines with the long needles?

LANI  I had not seen those oldies before .  Great way to start the morning.  Spider in the elevator set up  LOLOL  Boy, I had to laugh at your " Ya-da, Ya-da"    When this group has a Zoom, my friend who runs the Social Concerns ministry with me - we text each other with eye rolls often  LOL

KAREN   Woke last night around midnight to a wonderful thunderstorm.  More needed rain.

CLYNN   I'm pretty sure it won't be today that Tim comes home.  Too much left to do.   Four corners - cool

some bounce

TSK... they are about an inch and a quarter? One white pine. The other 2 may be spruce??

I was reaching into a doubled bag of groceries yesterday and scratched my arm on the point of the inward-facing folded edge on one side. Old skin is a hazard. Sigh. As soon as I stopped the bleeding I quickly got the stuff into the fridge/freezer and then sat with an ice pack for a half hour before I returned to put the rest away in the cupboards. Luckily, it was quick, because I always set the "cold items" on the counter next to the fridge... so I only open the door once.
