Resume my PT for knee tthis afternoon  , from the head/chest cold I've had. Haven't done muc in those exercises at home
since I've been sick with all that junk. Still feeling a bit rotten. But, I've missed 3wks or 6 visits which really throws me behind and
only extends the therapy time.  >:(

CLynn  so sad about the Colyer Coffee House - Albion. What a lovely old brick bldg. in it's day. Hopefully, it can be rebuilt
and folks can enjoy coffee in that quaint shop again.  A very challenging puzzle and would be fun for someone. Attractive acorn wreath, too.

Tig shame about the crack; good luck with the yard work--don't over do

Karen  so very sad about that poor dog being tied up in Tallahassee  when Milton was on approach.  Thank goodness the police intervened
rescued and treated and in shelter.  Sounds like your winter garden will be very pretty. 70F is still a nice temp. Hurrah for Piper and a nice run about the yard. Stretch those legs  ;)

Tsk  so glad you were able to vreiwe the 'Hunter's Moon' last night. I would have loved to have seen it down my way.

Lani   Katmai Naknek pretty  sunrise   and #273's  early morning fishing, hopefully a good catch. Tks for snaps. Glad Sadie gets a pet
spa visit today.

Dina 5-23-21  :-* I miss you so much.

Ok. Enough. New battery for mower, check. New furnace, soon. New Dyson heater/fan, maybe. Retired Plumber fix the slow draining upstairs bathroom sink, check. (Almost boiling water is our friend). Covid shots, check.

Finally going to make the bags of gold in tomato soup tonight (after many delays).

Then, rest and watch WNBA game (and NHL game).  ;D

Hello Beakers

We got down to 31 this morning - day 4 of running the furnace - got low to mid 70s for the next 5 days, so will probably turn it off again.... ;)

All of the youtube creators that I watch from Florida have reported in that they stayed home and survived with minimal damage other than no power for 1 to 4 days.  The exception is the Clark family - they were on the road during the 2 hurricanes and just returned home to Tampa last night.  Read the description on their videos for the story.

baz, I love October too, the days are cool but not COLD and the trees are beautiful. Will worry about the leaves later!! I bet the mountains are beautiful

Rolling fog on the Blue Ridge Mountains

...

Clynn, sadly, according to reports supplied to The Weather Channel based on recent on-the-ground and aerial geological surveys, very many places along, and around, the Blue Ridge Pkwy had an estimated 80% tree loss. I think a lot of people still haven't taken in the full scope of the widespread disaster in the mtns of NC/TN/GA/SC/VA/WVA. It's so massive it's almost not believable, which is why so many people describe it as looking like a movie set, or CG film work, even after they have seen it in person.  :(😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Out my back yard just before sunset. Too warm for a lot of color just yet. It will happen though.

Having my roof over the front steps re-done. Demolition day only today..looks so weird. Tomorrow is the rebuild with gutter this time.
