Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, beautiful 365, love the Griffen vultures soaring in the mountain fog...  Thanks for Amy's Blog, so glad to hear that our North couple art starting on the rebuilt nest. It does look kind of strange on that right side, like it's just hanging there! But I am sure there is sturdy support underneath!  Love the vintage ghoulish packaging on the treats! 40 here now, high 57 today. The first freeze tonight at 32, Thursday back into the 70s for a week or more.

Lani, glad to hear that Shannon has a new opportunity, I'm sorry that she will be moving away... Maybe you and Mike could move between your two girls, somewhere in northern California?!!  Love that good night pumpkin gif! The bears are getting ready to find their dens, their coats are so pretty!

baz, thank you for sharing your pictures of your little Sis at her 70th birthday party! They all look fabulous, I feel like I know all of them! Love the Spooky Squad, with the twin sets and Lil Punkin' and Baby Bro'!

Lisa, have you ever tried the Transitions lenses, the ones that darken when you are out in the sun?

tsk, many times I have heard a bird outside and ran out there with the Merlin on. I never realized that Blue Jays had so many different sounds! They can be very noisy! I found this article on Monarchs, thought you might enjoy it.  https://monarchbutterflylifecycle.com/blogs/raise/safely-release-monarch-butterflies#:~:text=Releasing%20butterflies%20isn%E2%80%99t%20difficult,%20but

PHYL  Retro Halloween AM    Thanks for AMy's blog.  Looks like there is a camera in another tree besides the overhead.

CLYNN  What a colorful morning  ;D  Interesting monarch and video.  Reinforces what I have learned already.   ;D

In Memory of 402

Bear 402's life embodies the triumphs and difficulties of a long-lived mother bear. We've compiled a tribute to 402's life with footage from her time on the bear cams, and we hope it brings some fond memories.

Join Charlie Annenberg, Mike Fitz, and Naomi Boak tomorrow (October 16th) at 4:00 p.m. / 7 p.m. ET for a very special live event to conclude the season.

Good Morning Beakers

I broke down and turned on the heat this morning.  ;D  I never turn it on before November!

Lani - Yep, that is Misty in the window.  :D  She is sitting in one of the three condos we have in the living room up against those windows.

Phyl - Thanks, and thanks for 365 & blog post.

clynn - I have never tried the transition lens.  This purchase was my first prescription pair of sunglasses.  I may try to transitions next year with new glasses.   Good pic from NEFL.  Love all the colorful cans.

tsk - Love your morning greeting.

karen - Good luck at cardiologist.

some bounce

Well... at least they caught the crack in the heat exchanger before carbon monoxide got us. A new furnace will be installed next week. Our Dyson heaters will have to suffice for the next couple of cooler days.

(( Lani/Mike ))

At least the pool was not cold today. I left our house of 62 degrees and drove thru 37 degree weather... I'm sipping hot tea now. But I haven't put socks on yet! ( Good stubborn German stock. LOL )

SED

Tig, glad you're getting a new furnace. Your carbon monoxide alarms didn't go off??  ???

Tsk, Shannon is taking her time. Her goal is to have a new job by the New Year. She has a Az Real Estate license, and will work to get one in Nevada.
