Hi Beakers!

Safe travels to Puff, Oldguy, and All heading to/from ATF/Decorah over the next few days! The weather sounds divine!

Personally, based on Lisa's gnat report, I would include in my pocket a lightweight procedure mask (they're the blue ones, usually) to put on at times while outside in the very buggy areas, since they aren't really a tight fit, and it won't be hot, and they could go a long way toward keeping gnats out of the nose and mouth. Ugh on the gnats. I would keep sunglasses on to help keep them out of my eyes, at least a bit maybe.

I want to go to Whippy Dip!  :D  But I've been making the rounds at the doctor offices recently instead.  ::)  Mostly just lots of screenings - catching up on a lot of stuff I have put off too long. So far, all is negative, including some more lab results I got today. Yay. Still have some outstanding screening and diagnostic type tests scheduled/to be scheduled. Fingers crossed.

Clynn, I made an Ebay purchase today, as a guest buyer. I didn't create an account since it's not a place I shop often. I think I have only ever made 1 other Ebay purchase, and that was eons and eons ago. I'm hoping the seller will turn out to be as trustworthy and reliable as you are! I hope your trip is going well. I'm thinking of your mom, aunts, sisters, and well, you and your whole family! Hugs.

Lisa, I bet that was scary in the hotel during the severe storms! - a derecho and tornadic weather? That wasn't on your itinerary!! Thank goodness you were safe!

Lani, I love that video of the butterflies emerging from those cocoons! Love the pics from Brooks Falls. Grazer sure is easy to spot and identify!  ;D  I'm holding out hope for Otis to make it back again this year. We''ll see... seems like I remember he was a late arrival last year, due to slow going and rests along the way. I know he is really old, and who knows how many more spring return trips to the falls he will make. It just won't be the same without him.  :-*

Lori, I think I can smell those sweet, ripe peaches from here!

Phyl, I have always loved those colorful little Gouldian Finches.  :-*

Waving to All the Beakers!  :D

Good Night. Peace. Out.

Good Evening Beakers....

Another buggy day in DE, but a nice cool one with lots of sun.

Baz - LOL, you are funny.  One of my friends suggested I get this to wear at ATF.  I hope the rest of your screenings and test are negative.

Phyl - The finches are so pretty!  Hope all was ok with your bone density test.

Puff - You will need a light jacket.  I had a light hoodie on most of the morning.

Lani - Thanks for the pics from Brooks Falls.

oldguy - Do you know how I can find out the size of my fridge?

tsk - I am going to be heading to N4 (Mom &DM2's) nest tomorrow. Was waiting on Glogdog to arrive, as she wanted to go too.

Puff & oldguy, safe travels!

Good night, everyone!

Lisa - most fridges have a label on the inside of the freezer door that gives details on model, size and safety help.  If no label, there is a easy way to calculate the cu. ft.

Grab a tape measure and measure the width, depth and height of the inside of your refrigerator in inches. Multiply the numbers together (W x D x H) and divide the total by 1728 to get the cubic feet - do this for each  - freezer and refrigerator - and add together.  This is easier than moving your fridge out to read the info on the serial number plate on the back of the fridge.

Good Morning!  Hot and Humid!   Phyl, your bottom pictures are depressing!  Hope they are not a reflection of your mood, today!   Be happy, you can sit in  ac and watch all the bird cams and other wildlife and not battle the. Gnats!  Of course you cannot go to the whippy dip  for an ice cream either!   Bone density!  Ahhh, i stopped the tests  years ago when I did not like the available drugs for  treatment!   I should however have someone empty the top shelves in the kitchen as I can no longer reach the items I put there!  A problem  shared by several of my geriatric  friends!
Lisa, have you seen HD or HM?   Think your choice of head gear is  a definite
Fashion Statement!  Too bad the birdies cannot screen in their nests!

Sorry Phyl!  No harm meant,  if it was on the bone density it was just what I did and nothing you should do!  To explain my decision on bone density testing, Inwas advised by two dentists, in two different states, not to take the first medication.  They both  explained that the bone growth that developed from the first medication was fake bone and that it did not have a blood supply, etc in it!  Because of this  they were unable to cure an infection in the bone in the mouth.   They strongly advised me not to take it!  I discussed this with my pcp and  said i did not see any sense in the test if I wasn’t going to treat a bone loss condition!  He agreed !   Too late to change the  plan now! Ear well and exercise , try nor to fall.   I have not checked the meds lately
Did not catch the comparison but you are right! We are luckier in many ways!  Some nor so much!  Have a good day!

PHYL   Sorry you are not pleased with bone density results.  Osteoporosis is my diagnosis. Hard to avoid with aging.  :(  I'm not taking the drugs either.  Will take my chances.   Lots of laundry memories today  ;)

KB  Will copy and past links after this posts.  No luck with copy and past  " Paul Tassi?"
