Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, sweet sleeping bear...  Aly and Dewey arrive today! I bet you have been busy!

oldguy, we had a thunder boomer rush through yesterday evening, don't know how much rain.  I need to get a rain gauge! Good job on the games, the forfeits don't count! What a delicious looking feast for Santi's cats!

kb, one of my favorite raccoon gifs:

baz, thanks for the pic of Etta, I missed her yesterday! Love her Caturday 'tude!  Harley has a lot of that too!

tsk, I know how fickle that short term memory is! Aunt Linda fell and broke her leg a couple of weeks ago. She is 85 or so, so no fast heal. My cousin (Linda's youngest daughter) Kindra is a respiratory therapist at the Fairfield hospital where Linda is in rehab, I'm sure Kindra is keeping a close eye on her! This is the Aunt whose husband was killed in a tractor accident in 2013. I have never heard of WAZE, is it an app?

Just a bit under 2" of rain yesterday - Boy did we need that!!!

KAREN   You have some "great war stories"  Funny Ann Landers and Nancy Sinatra.  ;D

BAZI   Etta has such a distinctive facial pattern.  A beauty  :D

KB  Racoons checking to see if it's safe... ;)

BL   Funny - Don't think we had that Geico commercial here   ;D

OLDGUY  Not a total loss at cards  ;)  SANTI   Must cost a fortune to feed all those cats.  Nice new oven really helps.  Walter inhaled his food in 3 sec!!  ;D ;D   My Dad had a slide rule and watching this guy operate it - I'm glad we are the age of calculators LOL  I lost him.

LANI   That good night bear had to be you after firewising...LOL

CLYNN   Your 3rd pic with the mosaic walkway is something out of a fairyland.  Awesome.   Thanks for clarifying the Aunts.  I wrote it down  LOL       Yes Waze is an app.   My Subaru car dealer said when I went in for some answer to questions I had about operating the car - he even said he uses Waze.

PHYL  Love those outdoor decorations from some very creative people.

I had not heard of WAZE either - so did some research...  Started in Israel in 2008 - purchased by Google in 2013, was maintained as an independent company until 2022, when it was rolled into Google Geo group.  It has been used by Google to try out new features, before introducing the features into Google Maps.  It gives the user more control over what type of roads to include in route maps.

These to me are such cool machines!

Which makes me wonder how Lani and Mike are doing....I assume the Houston Airport was closed and plans cancelled/postponed?

Good evening!  Well Lani, I guess things could have been much worse with .beryl but still glad Mike. Cancelled or rather postponed his trip until next week!  Aly there yet?
Clynn, love the mosaic sidewalk!    Would love to do my front porch!  Lol?
We have had a lot of  thunder yesterday and today but no rain at my house!  Has fallen elsewhere. May have  to turn the sprinklers back on!    Quite hot!
Have a good evening and  seds
