BL, interesting report on your eclipse viewing experience and the impact on  you and nature! Thanks for sharing!

My newspaper today reported that our university offered a program in their observatory that was well attended!   They reported a 69% coverage Here!    Piper and I were  surprised.
We were however, dismayed at the weather story that talked about our early heat and storms that are coming to South Georgia tomorrow and Thursday!  They. Report strong thunderstorms pushing our hot air,  with cold air perhaps bring more tornadoes to our county! Fallen tree have not been picked up from last week yet!

Home Goods was great. I am  happy they opened here!     Shower mat,  shower caddy, 2 Ralph Lauren bed pillows,  paper towel holder  and a humming bird feeder.  All under 100 dollars!  Amazing.   Picked up my completed  taxes!   Now wait for the  sound of coins hitting my bank account!
May stop watching the new eagle nest and. Switch to. The ospreys!

Hope Lulu forgets about the  bad  vet 🤠 .

Howdy Beakers!

Caitlin Clark received the Wooden Award today for the best women's basketball player in the nation - for the second year in a row. The award ceremony will be Friday, with the other 4 nominated players in attendance.
Brief report about that, with those other players' names and such (just "X" out/close the pop-up, if you get one, to read it - no subscription required):
https://apnews.com/article/wooden-award-caitlin-clark-cfb8c347dd5ad8258c062684f5bb8321

TSK, awww, Lulu...  :-*  glad she got her shots and ear meds/treatment though. She's a beauty - nice of vet to notice her pretty coat. Not nice of vet to mess up on the shot and the ear swab jab though. Ugh. What do you mean by substitute vet?

Clynn, LOL, you're right - special hand gesture built in!! ... ha ha. I texted a pic of exactly that to my sisters this morning!!  ;D I figured it wouldn't be suitable to post here - but I did consider it.  8)

Phyl, hope the meds are helping you and Jim. Thanks for Maggie's purrs.

(((Lori))), you have been doing a long and arduous task, but one that is a labor of love, and will be a wonderful way to honor and share the many memories of your Uncle Russ.

Karen, I saw your weather report for possible severe weather heading your way - do stay alert and you and Piper be at the ready to take cover in whatever spot is safest in your house. I hope you don't get anything bad. That same front comes my way on Thursday, with the chance of severe weather. If that forecast holds till then for my area, I will prestage my "safe room" so Zip and I can run for it on short notice if we need to.

Lisa, I hope your Mama and family down Mobile-area way stay on alert tomorrow - a very high Torcon chance of tornadoes for that area is forecast for tomorrow. I hope your Mama can stay off the roads when that weather is supposed to go through. I know she is hard put to stay home. LOL.  ;) The Weather Channel said it will not be a fast moving system, and damaging winds and large hail are major threats. It is a particularly high threat for there tomorrow.

BL, what a wonderful experience you all enjoyed yesterday in VT for the Total Eclipse. A true memory maker and keeper. Blueberry wine to top it off, too! I want a glash!  ;)

(((I hope all in the path of the severe weather tonight, tomorrow, and the next couple of days, stay safe.)))

Good Night, All. Peace. SED.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, what a sweet good night kitty! Sam and Sophie are hardly kittens anymore, they're teenagers! Harley is not hissing anymore (unless Sophie jumps on him). I am also hoping and praying that Iris picks a mate this year! And that Harriet returns to Dunrovin!

E4E, I am so glad for my Mom that her two sisters live close by! They watch over each other and their greatest pastime is accompanying each other on their doctor visits! Aunt Linda's kids live not too far away, they have a lot of family dinners, etc and always invite Mom and Aunt June. It's a good thing!

baz, the finger thing, LOLOL! Thanks for the info on the Wooden Award, have never heard of it!

karen, I looked to see if there is a Home Goods in Evansville, IN, and there is!  I am putting that on our list to go to next week when Mom and I go to Evansville! I think she will love browsing around in there!

Phyl, I sure hope you are feeling better today!

80 years later, and these triplets are still basking in sibling love. ❤️

Phyl, great pics of the Cane Ridge Bluebirds! They grow so fast! Love the flowers and chair! 43 here now, 73 for the high today. OMGoodness, the forecast is showing 87 for Sunday! I hope that changes, way too early for that temp! A different 365, reminded me of Harley licking on plastic!

Good Morning

KAREN   Good job with some practical items purchased at Home Goods   Lulu is another thing .  You should have seen the two of us trying to get those drops in her ears.  :o :o   We have a new plan today  ;) ;)    Rough weather ahead for you.  We have rain moving in tonight and ALL day tomorrow - predicting 1.5" - I have my gauge out now  LOL

BAZI   She was filling in for one of the usual vets we have.  If I had made the appt ( I left it up to Tim)  I would have requested the male vet who we usually get.  There are several vets in this office.   You sisters will enjoy your "gestured" hand  LOLOL    Sure will be interesting to see which WNBA team picks up Caitlin.

LANI   Sweet little "tortie"? sleeping  :)

CLYNN  All of your methods for introducing cats sure paid off.  Good job.  Plan for at least an hour at Home Goods in Evansville.  :o
Cool triplets photos.  Canyon de Chelly must be in the same area as Bryce.

PHYL   365 huge animals up close  :o   Very good pics of the new babies  :)

tsk, I am planning on 2 hours, my Mom is a world class browser! That must be where I get it.  ;D  Cathy is somewhere in the middle, Becky is a 'know what you want, go in, get it and leave'. She doesn't collect anything! She does have 3 Longaberger baskets (gifts) and I tell her 3 of something is a COLLECTION!

Wonderful morning pictures!
Clynn, your am picture of flowers looks like glass!  Lisa posted some the other day that looked the same and I forgot to mention them!   Great photo of the Cherry Blossoms at the tidal Basin, DC!  Kitties getting big!
Tsk, how is Lulu today!
I could have purchased a tom of stuff yesterday but left it for another trip!  I kept thinking, someone will have to get rid of it!   Lol!   There was a great deal on Patio umbrellas but I kept telling myself that I would not be able to move it inside prior to storms so ir is still there waiting for another buyer!

Mrs T was brooding this morning after a brief hiatus off the nest!  E 23 missed a little snack this morning and F 23 ate it!   Hope he sees M in time to get breakfast!
Lani, thanks for  the sloth report!

I'm not watching Trempealeau - too  upsetting kareng.  Little guy just isn't getting enough.  Couple little pieces while the other is fed the most - and that really isn't sufficient anyway.

NorthNest is where I'll hang except for when I pick up on some noise from T.  Glad I got the sales spiel online from WBU - I see that y'all found it a good view too.

Good Morning/Afternoon Beakers

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes for Bradley, appreciate them. :D

Lori - Hope you got all of your scanning done yesterday.  ((HUGS))

tsk - Gorgeous morning pic!  I would have been happy with the vet visit, too.  Hope Lulu's ears heals quickly.

Puff - Very cool on the owl cam.

BL - Sounds like a fun time.

clynn - I hope it works out for the T's.  I peeked in early this morning, all looked ok, and Mrs T has a few fish in the pantree.  So glad to hear that the kitties are all getting along.   :-*  Love the utensil wind chime.  Beautiful pic of the Cherry blossoms.

Phyl - Hope you are feeling a lil better.

tig - Oh yikes, that is something you won't forget.

karen - Sounds like you had a great Home Goods trip.

baz - I called Mama to let her know, thanks.  I could not believe that she was aware, as most of the time she tells me she hasn't heard about the weather.  She says, the schools are closing at noon there.

E4E - We had plenty of kebabs left, sending you some, too!  ;D

Lani - Oh so sweet, the sleeping kitty.

Watch LGK—the adult male from the Top Track nest site—wander into frame and begin feeding his lumbering, down-covered chick. This is LGK's first visit to the nest in more than 2 weeks! Adult Northern Royal Albatrosses can travel vast distances over the ocean to find food for themselves and their chick. In fact, one adult was tracked traveling more than 8000 miles in a single 2-week foraging trip!
