Good Morning Everyone....

Currently: 53F cloudy   High  70F light rain showers,  Low 49F

Firstly thanks for the interesting post/conversation/snaps  from, yesterday

Secondly,

What had me concerned was the 'Visit Summary' which listed the possible diagnosis from the tests that were
performed on his Blood tests.
The results, according to Jim's conversation w/ doctor's office are as follows:
Chronic Stage 3a kidney disease; COPD, Congestive Heart Failure and Fatigue. Some adjustments have been made to his  medical regime. With
appointments with a Pulmonologist and Nephrologist when their offices call us to set up.
Regarding CKD, Jim has none of the  more common symptoms save for lethargy .  My little Maggie with her stage 2a CKD has been an early education
in  this disorder at the very least.

Prayers for:Our friend and ally the Nation of Israel and peace for her people. Laken Riley, all those like her and family; Eaglesrock . All abandoned, abused  cats and feral cats; The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . The Beakroom and Cheers.

Lisa - I never watch my local news..never.

I've been following wunderground weather for a week, and other weather apps only....they seem to be lining up for a big dump of snow/ice...

In the past even weather apps, have been wrong, but not this close to the event.

I'm another user of Wunderground here KB.  Like the "local" flavor.  Very easy to get pertinent weather reports for 3 areas of Chicago (ORD, MDW, Loop) but not too many reporting stations in Darien.  (Where, what is a Darien?)  Wunderground does have one here, even more among others in the county.  My very local station is at the firestation about 1 mile from me.  That makes for very reliable numbers for those living out here.  Wouldn't be as reliable for for TSK.  She's close to the O'Hare stats though.

Good Morning Beakers

A recent pic I got of Sydney wishing me a Happy Birthday.  I forgot to post it the other day.  Bad grandma...  ::)

I don't do the comparison thing that often if at all  Lisa  BUT. . .

I don't think I'm stretching things by saying " Syndey looks a whole lot like her grandmother."

Family and friends always told me I looked like my paternal grandmother.  I did - Grandma only lived into her late 50's unfortunately.  But as a youngster there was a good transfer of some of the DNA that was clear.  Genes can travel.

Karen - The Big 10 Conference is currently 14 schools, and starting this fall UCLA, USC, Oregon and Washington will be added to make it 18 schools.
The Big Ten only has 6 teams in the NCAA Tourney and 3 in the NIT Tourney.  There has been as many as 8 in the NCAA Tourney some years.
I expect all 6 to win their first game, but only 3 to win the second game....

Big ten has been growing and only seems to be not done.  I had fun trying to explain the Big Ten logo to Tony .  Not being a sport afficianado;  he just didn't/couldn't even see the two colors between B and 10 (which was really 12?).  It'll be interesting to see what the next options will be.

I/We have three local schools in the area to cheer on and hope they win:  Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern.  Keeps me busy.  No other ladies in the group know what a football is.  But, they do know what Taylor Swift wore.  It's good there's something for everyone.  LOL

Good Morning!  A rainy Friday here!   Good thing about spring snows is a fast melt!   No stress!  Also a good help  for drought if it doesn’t cause flooding!

Old Guy, thanks for the additions to the Big Ten!   Puff, I am with you on the three teams but will add Marquette to my list as it is close to Chicago!   Northwestern  plays  a little after noon, et , today!
Tsk, the finch nest is very close, on the  underside of tge roof over my littlefront porch and visible from the  windows around my front door!   This is the same nest that was there last year!  I did nit take it down as they tried to nest there for many years and the nesting material always blew down!  Last year was the first time they were successful so I left it!  They will have at least 2  broods.  They often perch on the ledge of tge windows over the door and look in the house at me and Piper.  Lol  our own personal 365!
Lisa,  a little mini me!   Lolol!
While my father, who was not a cat lover, was serving in the army (ww11)  my mother and I had a cat!   One night she was awakened to the sound of the piano being played and after checking to see that I was asleep, in bed, she  flew downstairs to see the kitty walking up and down the piano keyboard!  The keys were covered at night after that!
A coworker  in Springfield had a small menagerie of sorts and had at least on parrot and a cat.  The parrot loved to make the cat crazy by calling here kitty, kitty off and on all day!
E 23 having a flapping goid time this morning in the rain!  Thanks for Sues picture!
bbl. Going to have one of Lisas croissants

Karen - FYI, Spring snows in the north, if heavy, are a LOT of stress! We had three 3" snow falls in 3 days a few years ago, in April. Sure, it melted some in the daytime, but it froze overnight... which caused ice dams and thousands of dollars in damage. I just made an appt. for our roof company to come next Wednesday and remove snow. It will be a minimum of $350. But that is our return customer rate which is good for about 4 inches and 1 hour of service. More inches over that means more time and more $$$. And some forecasts are predicting 6 to 12 inches here on Sunday.

Not complaining, just explaining reality.

Sorryfor your troubles and expense Tig! Had 10 inches of tge heavy stuff fall in Chicago one April and did not have that issue!  Never had  my roof cleaned off or anything, nor did my neighbors or my Wisconsin  relatives!
Must be a difference in the buildings ir roof pitch or something!    Good luck
