Good evening Beakers!   Hope all had a great day celebrating St, Paddys Day!  Great posts on it and cute pictures!
Clynn,  thanks for posting my blooming things!  Petunias have been outside since Fall.  Yes, Sos!   also made with hamburger!   Had it at times as well as a kid.  I have had the  Stouffers   Frozen kind and although most of the stuff they make is good quality  this is poor value.  Jmo.  If you need a Reuben fix  some time, Arbys does a decent job. I have never thought of dried chipped beef as being the same as  corned beef.   Tge latter is brisket which is brined,  looks like a roast!

Pleasant humid day in the low 80’s   With high humidity.   Heavy rain and a col down to toe 60-70  degree level for the week!

E23 was showered with fish, etc on his fledge day ,  still home   But a feisty one.
I sympathize with  Mike and his back!  Have to call for a shot myself!
Take care  and seds

{{{Puff}}} great to see your post! I'm sorry you're having trouble with your new computer. I hope you have a good Sunday. :-*

Kb, wonderful ellie rescue.... We love chip beef on toast. Mike had it in the Navy, and of course, my stepfather made it for us too. I have a Hormel Dried beef in a jar in the refrig now, there's about a third left for another meal. You can get it in the Deli or Canned Beef aisle of Safeway, Walmart, Basha's... I see Baz posted to you too, as well as others.

Lori, love your St. Pat's posts!  :-*

Baz, Yummy sliders! I hope you have good night after seeing your Tarheels are #1seed.

Lisa, yummy Reuben!  ;D

Eagles, wishing your grandson good luck! Baseball season is right around the corner. Chicken sounds perfect!

Clynn, Karen's azaleas and petunias are gorgeous! Glad to hear Harley and the kittens are spending more and more time with each other... wonderful video of Bride and Bridesmaid!

Tig, I enjoy your stories of your childhood and parents.

Phyl, thanks for replying to my robo vac question. I know they've improved the machine. I was just curious. The couple are reading all the online comments.... yummy dinner.

Karen, your Petunias are gorgeous especially through the late fall and winter months.

Good night!

Praying for Peace

Good Morning!  Piper and I are up very early this morning!  Naps will be in order.

Good cards, Old Guy!

E23 survived an owl strike.  The report was not clear as to if it was Saturday or Sunday night.  At any rate, his practice flights to and from all the branches of  the nest tree paid off as he   Flew throughout the tree to escape!   Smart boy!
Off for a cuppa coffee and a few kks that I stole from Lori. Yesterday!   So good!   Thanks.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, awww, sorry for the Sauces nest... Do you think they are done laying? Didn't Audi lay 7 eggs a couple of years ago? Jackie and Shadow at Big Bear are having problems too, none of their 3 eggs hatched...  20 here right now, high 41 today. Lots of Sandhill cranes heading North! Mother and Father Goose are sound asleep! Good at Two Harbors!

oldguy, great video of Grandma cooking in the iron skillet! Good night for cards! It looks like it is getting worse again in Iceland... Maru...

Lani, I can tell that you are getting excited for the basketball games! Is Mike able to take a few days off work, ya know, like vacation days? I don't know anyone who has a Robo vac. Have just seen videos of cats riding on them...LOLOL!  I wonder if they have a guarantee that you will like or get your $ back.

SWFL - Wildlife Photography by Barb Henry. We are asking for more signers and sharers. The eagles really need your help. M15 almost got hit on Bayshore Road on 3/16/24 getting roadkill.  https://www.change.org/p/protection-of-bald-eagles-m15-f23-and-eaglets?recruiter=1327997127&recruited_by_id=75a06190-ba02-11ee-8150-9bc88810466e&utm_source=share_petition&utm_campaign=petition_dashboard_share_modal&utm_medium=facebook

Momo - This is a photo I took of a dog I call Boo and he is one of my best coping mechanisms.

High today 37 degrees

BAZI  Only caught the last two brackets but see that your Tarheels are #1  No pressure there  LOL

KAREN  My azalea is just now getting the tiniest sign of life  ;) ;)   Those gosh darn owls - E23 will get the hang of dodging them.

OLDGUY    LOLOL  Loved the cook and " well I'll just throw another stick of butter in"  LOLOL  Looked great but would not have done the chicken - That beef and onions and cabbage was way more than a side dish  .  One good thing about the lava flow should it reach the south road is that the fiber optic cable may be buried far enough not to be disturbed.  Hope it doesn't get to that.  The maps are really good - I like to visualize LOL    OG  Ace card player and the luck of the Irish!!

PHYL   I have Nolly recorded as well as the other new one that comes after it.  I'll get to it sooner or later.  ::) ::)   That throat patch would be revolutionary.  I would love to see one work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA

After staring at this screech owl, I'm still not sure I'm outlining it correctly visually...

Happy Bird Day, Lisa - any plans for today?

Having a sleep number guy come out this am to check on Chris' bed...It was pre pay though Chris thinks he fixed 1/2 of his issues earlier today...oh well we shall see.

Our precip (Snow) predicted totals starting Sunday on my app keep going up and are literally scaring me!
Over 15 inches over a few days!

I'm not sure we've had that much all season so far. I sure do hope they are as wrong at predicting weather as they have been. ;) Though I haven't used my snowblower to date and got it ready to go down to the shop. Now I'll try to finagle both mower and snowblower together in the garage some how in case.
Please be wrong. Please be wrong. I'll get prepared closer to the time if need be.

Interesting study:
https://www.wionews.com/science/handwriting-not-typing-linked-to-better-learning-and-memory-study-701096

So previously it was determined cursive writing was better for memory than printing.

Now any type of handwriting is better than typing.

I wonder how much our young students are losing out because they gave up teaching cursive for the most part and then they switch to typing altogether....can't be good!
