BL   Thanks - I was close   ;) ;)  LOL   Source I saw said about 20 years of reproduction.  I would trust the American Eagle Foundation.  Time will tell this year.  I was just curious since she hasn't laid an egg - that we know of - for two years now.   Thanks for the history.

Yep, I dead headed 9 hydrangea plants starting at 10:30 and pruned 3 of them....took me 2 hours..Lots of dead flowers and I only pruned the 3 very large ones..With today's wind I thought it prudent to not have to find them all over my yard!

Now it's snow/ice on my decks and getting very cold.

The installers are coming tomorrow between 2:30 and 6:30 so at least by then it will be up to 20!

The next prognosticator is does March come in like a lion or a lamb ?

Very Wet, Very Muddy and Way Too Warm here in February.

What Karen said is such a lifetime observation and so correct.

And you got one heck of a mercury record.    :-*

KB will 'winter' ever end for you? Good idea on 'dead heading' hydrangeas  w/wind on the up.

Tsk be most interesting the outcome with the modification of the skin biome. If that keeps the 'girly blood suckers' away.  ;)   ;  More  Brrr! weather

Tig and more of same for you----'Brrr!' Grab that  extra comforter

Karen Oh gosh! No! Not the Penguins---Bird flu. Take care yourself with the weather.

Tonight 62F light showers and wind 17mph with gusts 36 mph

Pip and I landed softly at here around sunset time EST.

We've never seen The Hudson Valley and all of the Mountains that flank it this Snow Free ever before.

It went from summer at 3pm (74) today to winter by 7pm (32) - heading for 14 by morning and high of 35 for Wed.  Winds 20 to 30 starting at 3pm.  Wind chill at 5 and air temp of 18  as it is approaching midnight.  We missed out on the rain/snow and storms - they all started up in Mo. and Ill. this afternoon and evening and missed us by about 80 miles.

Cards were good on Sat. 3 - close games - won 2 out of 3.

Ordered a new Range yesterday - the old one (1995) was not maintaining proper temps anymore. - should be installed in 1 to 2 weeks.
