Lisa, glad you don't have to buy a new pair of glasses. I have my appt in a couple of weeks, I'm hoping they can repair scratches in the lens if I don't need a new pair.... awww Lisa, sweet darling Sydney, love her outfit and happy face, I can almost hear her laughter! Pumpkin's already reading, what a big girl. LOL!  ;D :-*

Baz, yummy salad...Good advice for Karen, I hadn't thought about being cautious, but thanks, something to remember....  I've had the bear cam on for several hours now, a few bears are still fishing tonight. Cubs, mom young bears and old, and ducks too.

Tsk, I was talking to Mike this afternoon about Barkley and the Blessing of the Animals. He reminded me the singing, guitar and flute didn't help.  ;D ..... it's wonderful you and Puff were able to meet for lunch and what a blessing to receive the coats for those in need.

{{{Puff}}} you're a blessing to those in need of a warm coat this winter. It's wonderful to hear Beakers getting together.

SED Eagles, Tig, BL :)

Good night!

This big boy (#99) had this part of the Falls by himself tonight. It's raining, windy and looks very cold. Wish I was there, near a nice roaring fire.  ;D

Another close encounter for Newman and Lisa this morning.  She was on the large feeding ledge and he on the nest box perch at about 7:30 AM.  Both flew away, then Newman returned to the nest box and the large feeding ledge for a while before flying away again.  Nice views of a long barge headed upstream in between the falcon views if you like the barges, too.

Pics of the peregrines.

It sounds like bl is back on board, or at least in communication.  I have the feeling he left the heavy equipment at home and just found a computer.

My first thought when I saw his post - Ah ha  Now comes the difficult task of truly transferring the thrill and beauty of Alaska.  As I mentioned I have many albums with zillions of pics, can't and won't even ever get close to sharing the memories or experiences.

But, I still try and I know BL will keep on keeping trying!  Can't wait for his dialog and shots.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, I do remember! And don't forget Bunny Rabbit and Mr. Moose! And Romper Room, be a good Do Bee! My little sister Becky had a Mrs. Beasley doll! I had to chuckle at the Nature 365, the buck sounds off and all the girls follow! The Swiss Alps are so beautiful! Great view of the GSB nestbox and feeding ledge!

Lani, Grazer looks huge! She could definitely be the winner! Bless the lady in Costa Rica who gives all of those dogs a home, she is a Saint!

BL, sounds like you are in heaven...  ;D

E4E, I had my eye exam a couple of months ago and they had a new way to test for glaucoma, no dilation! Of course, it added $30 to my co-pay, but worth it. My Dad had glaucoma...

Lisa, absolutely love the pic of Sydney laughing, and in the other, she actually looks like she is reading that book!  The pictures are getting more and more fun as she grows and starts forming her own little personality!

tsk, hooray for you and Puff gathering all of the coats for those in need as winter creeps up on us...  LOLOL, so much talking you couldn't eat all your lunch!

Sue Bruhling - Good Morning! I was lucky enough to take this Screen Cap this morning of Lady and Mighty M perched side by side!  I thought it would make you smile and make a good start to your Day! 🙂 Pour another cup of coffee and Perch for awhile! 😉 https://dickpritchettrealestate.com/southwest-florida.../    Lady to the Left, Mighty M to the Right

Sepia, had to look that one up myself: changes black and white to a tone of brown. A chemical process.

Good morning all and thank you for all your well wishes.

Didn't walk Ollie yesterday but heading out with Chris in an hour or two.
Meanwhile am getting in touch with a woman who left me her number and offered to be a walking buddy.
We shall see....well meaning have offered before but sometimes work obligations or distance from us gets in the way. I'll call her later.

I am sure I'll end up walking Ollie myself at times but will carry my mace and now know it can be effective which feels good.

Another childhood tv show remembrance....Buffalo Bob.
Once in a Beverly Hills hospital for severe sciatica a nurse used to wake me up singing:
It's Howdy Doody time!...I'll never forget it as she pulled open the shades.

Puff just sent me some info she has gotten recently about river boat tours in USA as we were talking about it.  $ 16,000 to go bottom to top on the Mississippi in 22 days!!  :o :o :o

CLYNN  Have you ever toured the Hoyt Sherman mansion??  Gorgeous place.  Stunning portrait of the SWFL pair.( SB)

KB   You're right about Buffalo Bob.  I think a reason we may know about these shows is because at that time there was only 1 or 2 channels to choose from LOL
Locally in Milwaukee at the time the local news channel, I believe, had someone read the Sunday comics to us.  We would lay in the floor on our stomachs and follow along  LOL      Funny " It's Howdy Doody time"  ;D

current 61 - high of 92 - whew!

BL -  :)

Phyl - Love your 'nite' picture!   Thanks for the reminder of 'Romper Room' - I remember my younger sister watching it as a youngster! :)   Love the Newman pic!   Thank you for 'Nature' - liked the deer!    Fun to see 'Remember . . .' ;D

Lani - Love the Bear pics last night.

Tsk - Had a wonderful afternoon with our friend yesterday - we grilled chicken - it was a nice afternoon with a high of 92 - we sat outside in the shade of the gazebo!

Puff - So happy you & Tsk had lunch together (although you both probably didn't eat much)!  Wonderful for all the coats you had collected!

Clynn - My dad had glaucoma too - so my eye specialist keeps an eye on me (no pun intended)!    Loved the story & vid of Hoyt Sherman Place - I would love to tour it!!
Thank you for posting Sue - beautiful picture!

Kb - Awesome pic this morning!  Enjoy your walk with Ollie and always stay safe  :)   Liked your story of the nurse  ;D

Everyone have a wonderful day  8)

Chris and I walked Ollie just a block shorter Yah!...so much nicer to walk with someone joining.

And then Maria and I connected by phone and when she gets to her calendar we will schedule a walk for next week!
She herself has several rescues, a husky and a blue heeler mix.
She isn't bring her dogs as she understands Ollie's temperament.

How nice is that and off FB as well...though she lives in South Minneapolis she is very involved in my city as her children all go to school here. Even just one partner a week will help, plus get to know someone new!
