Tsk, I know that about tge pee. Read tge Mayo write up on water after they told me to do this!  I will continue the advice of the cardiologist at least until my appointment in December. My lab work showed signs of dehydration d improved after I began drinking ! (Water, lol)   The science of taking diuretics
And drinking all this water is above my medical degree!   Kidneys are ok and was told no congestive heart failure so, so far so good!  Swelling now almost comlrtrly gone and occurs late in the day!   This is all tmi, I know!  At my age I will keep drinking water!

Lisa, is Bandid okay?

KAREN, yay for all the improvement showing in your labs! Keep it up! You're doing great!!  :)

LANI   Good job on the trap!!

CLYNN  You bet you had to find just the perfect spot  WOW  Lots of trees.    We are still comparing Lulu to Lucy and how different both cats were
Next month is a year for Lucy... :(   That is such a cute kitty looking out the car window.

KB   Isn't that gorgeous.  We won't peak here til around the 3rd or 4th week in Oct usually.

T40  Those were some really strange cat noises  ;)    Looks like the Ford Explorer wins!     Give me earplugs with those huskies  LOL

Since, Phyllis and Jim took off early-ish  this morning.

I'm doing the posting today---

Lots of good Caturday posts. Thanks for birdy nest updates. And the squirrel 'chat'.  I love looking at birds and talking to the
squirrels that come up  to much peanuts from Jim's feeder.

Enjoyed the  links  and  photos  this afternoon.
Gosh my little paws are getting a workout with this mouse 'thingy'.

I'm having empty nest syndrome  :'(

I think Manaaki and UQ have both left the area.
And Iris has left Hellgate for her winter migration too!  :'(

Iris last seen on her nest September 5th.

This is cool! This is Lupine on 9/12. Looks like he is perched in a tree a bit west of Iris's nest on the other side of Jacob's Island. (Where we see the dogs swim.) He is near the walking bridge we see on cam. Is he hanging with Iris somewhere?

Lani - I have one word for those yellow jackets: YUK!
I would have called in a pest control company.....we have at least 4 companies that take care of nests...I have used them once for a nest under our deck that was hard to get to.....

No, I still see down feathers on Manaaki's wings....don't leave yet!....

They seem to be quiet today.
And yes I will have our regular pest guy spray too.
He's coming in about a couple of weeks. But, in the meantime I want to get ahead of the problem.
So I can continue moving my potted plants in for the winter.

HAPPY CATURDAY!  :)

((CLYNN)) You all are going to have a great time on that birthday trip! It's incredible you found just the spot for your mom's window bird feeder that the squirrels can't get to. I imagine all the squirrels in her yard have since developed mental illness as a result.  8)

KAREN, LOL on the bird feeder going completely missing. Wonder which squirrel nest got the new "furniture."  ;D

LANI, yay for your sting on your head not bothering you anymore. You have become a yellow jacket and wasp removal specialist. You may as well hire yourself out to your neighbors! (((OTIS))) (((MANAAKI)))  (((IRIS)))   :-* :-* :-*

TSK, so glad "the girls" were able to do the special birthday lunch outing for your friend. The "firsts" are all awful.

LORI;D ;D ;D :-*

TIG, couldn't get into your cabin and had to drive back!  :o Hope the place did something to help make up for your trouble and time!

LISA, I hope Bandit's 1 lb.weight loss is just a temporary anomoly, and not anything worrying. Do you watch to be sure he is the only cat eating the food out of his bowl? My Mtns Sis had a male cat who they discovered was backing out and allowing one of their other, newer, female, cats eat his food! She would eat all of her food, and then come over to his dish and push him, and he would back out, and then just watch while she ate all the food he still had on his plate!!  ::)  I was surprised because that female cat was so much smaller than the male cat and not an aggressive personality at all, but my Mtns Sis said that little female cat of theirs turned out to be the "Alpha" cat! LOL! They had to start feeding them separately, and watching to be sure the male's food didn't get taken by the other kitty.  ;) :D

PHYL, Zippo has cataracts, too, and doesn't see very well at all these days. Glad to hear Maggie is "getting along." Does she startle more easily than usual, since her vision change? I have to be careful how I approach Zippo, because the vision loss means she can startle very easily when somehting "suddenly" comes into her view.

E4E, that's going to be really fun tonight!

OLDGUY, may the cards be with you!

BL, sounds nice.

KAREN, I forgot to mention before... While I was watching Live coverage of Hurricane Lee on The Weather Channel last night, one of their meteorologists who was reporting live from Bar Harbor was interviewing people in the downtown area there. One middle-aged couple he interviewd were from Valdosta!! They were really cute, and joked about going from their Hurricane Idalia mess at their house in Valdosta, to a vacation in Maine, only to be in Bar Harbor in time for another hurricane!! LOL! They didn't say their names, but of course I wondered if you might know them. I imagine "social media" is all abuzz in your area with people who know that couple and saw them interviewed live on a national TV broadcast last night. LOL!

Have a good evening, Beakers. Peace.

Tsk - I see how you & Tim work as a good team in seeing him thru the blood thinners he must take for a year - it will be nice when the amount of thinners he needs will be cut back.  I sure wish him all the best.
We enjoyed the 'Beatles' tribute last night, but they did not sing 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand'!

Tig - How is the weather over where you guys are staying?  No matter tho, I'm sure you are enjoying! ;D

Phyl - I'm sure I would love Maggie and would absolutely love to pet her!!  Glad you found a new DVD player and will receive it today!
Love the 'Caturday' pic!

Puff - Good point with mentioning bee stings & pets.

OG - Love the SWFL vid of nestorations. ;D  Thanks for all links / good info!

Lani - During 'Beatles' tribute last night, they did all the songs from the 'Rubber Soul' album and few extra songs, then they took a 15 minute break, then came back wearing Sgt Pepper outfits and sang some of those songs.  It was a fun evening. :)

Kb - "MN has 12 seasons" - don't whether to Lol or not! ;D   Beautiful colored Crab!

Clynn - Cute caturday gifs!   Thank you for posting for Naimoj @ the Gerald R Ford museum.

LisaG - Bandit is well taken care of - if anyone can get him to put that weight back on, I think you will make it happen! :)  Please keep us posted.

Lori - Great comics & graphics!! ;D

Beakers have a nice day  :)

Afternoon tsk

karen - Bandit does eat a lil bit of dry kibble.  Oh, yikes on your feeder and the squirrels.

Lori - Great Caturday stuff!

Lani - Wow, on the DIY wasp trap!  LOL, the bees and rotisserie. The eyes on your Caturday kitty, gorgeous!

{{clynn}} - Super Walmart is on this side of the bridge, thank god, but it is 30 miles away!   ::)
The kitten is precious in the last pic.

kb - Beautiful fall colors  :D

T40 - Thanks for the videos.

E4E - Thanks for saying that.  :D  Reading your comment to Lani, sounds like a great show last night.

baz - I do feel Bandit and Misty in different places of the kitchen.  Bandit always gets his food down first, but he will not start eating, till I put Misty's down and he sees that she is eating hers.

Phyl - Love the pics of Maggie.

I do not have kitty pics today, but I do have one of smiling Sydney  :D

Hi Beakers -
Some of you have asked to see a picture of our Delorean.  This is the most up to date we have, it was taken last Sunday, Sep. 10 at a car show in Salinas, CA.

PHYL   Awwww   Is that sweet Maggie? - just a slip of a thing.  Looks like a kitten.  Is your new DVD player a Blue Ray?

LANI   "Empty nest" is not just in the bird world but also in the human world  :-*   Somehow I don't remember the name Lupine?  Was that the latest suitor of Iris?

BAZI    LOLOL  " all the squirrels have developed mental illness as a result"  LOLOL

EAGLES  No kidding  No " I Wanna Hold Your Hand"?   :P   You had a great time nevertheless  ;D ;D   Kris's car is stunning.  Wow  what a shine.

LISA   Little Sydney is getting more beautiful every day.  LOVE that smile and those smiling eyes to match.  :-* :-*

Lisa. Sydney is a love!  Previous smile!
Think I found the feeder.   It didn't go far .  The squirrels do not have a mental problem but Piper does!    Poor dear keeps looking up at the window.  They have been back a few times since the feeder fell!  Sounds like someone knocking on the wall and window!
If Iris is gone, I wish her luck and hope next year will be the one where she accepts a new beau!
I do not think Maanaki is ready to leave yet.  Needs more practice flying and fishing!
(((Otis)))
Good job Lani on the trap!
