Happy Birthday E4E!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

LISA    I laughed so hard when I saw Sydney's serious face.  Looked to me like she would say " I'm full Mama"  LOL     Glad for the experiment controlling traffic - pretty dangerous when emergency vehicles can't get through

Thanks LORI   ;)

TIG  Hope your weather is cooperating  ;)

HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EAGLES

Good morning Beakers! Enjoy a heaping plate of peach pancakes!  ;D
Morning Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Omasawyer, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Tig, enjoy your adventures  :)

Hi Karen, Puff  :)

Kb, beautiful morning pic. My favorite season, our maple tree is starting to turn.... oh I think the bees have relocated and moved the queen with them. Yesterday, I just saw two flying about the siding. Nothing in the DIY trap and lots of bees on the Rescue trap at sunset last night. I even threw rocks at the hole in the siding and nothing moved. I'll leave it open for our pest guy next month. Mike told me at dinner last night, he checked out the bee sight and he was proud of my DIY project. He didn't think it would work. I told him I learn a lot from our forum and of course Youtube. Thank you Oldguy;D Mike doesn't like to work outside, so it's always been up to me.  Anyway, he has always travelled for his work through our 53 years and that's not going to change. And I do love being outside. :)

Hi Lori, yummy birthday cake and greetings for Eagles! prayers for you and your grandma.  :-*

Lisa. Sydney is not pleased with her parent at that moment. She's saying "read my eyes & lips, I'm mad at you!! Yes, you!!! Pay attention!" ;D ... It's really our furry pets that train us to understand and plan their feeding routine. Isn't it? LOL! I bet it's frustrating for them like Sydney if we don't catch on to what's going on. ;D

Tsk, Good way at looking at the young albatrosses fledging.  ;D This is Lady Hawk's youtube video of UQ hovering yesterday  ;D

Royal Albatross ~ UQ Chick's Beautiful Long Hovers! 💗😊💗 9.16.23
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKqlp6_Cv0g

Clynn, yes, the young Albatross will fly around their island, and learn to fend for themselves. They will need lots of food before they slowly take the winds and head out to sea.... squid beaks was a surprise to me too. I learn more about Royal Albatross every season.... beautiful Sea eaglets.... magnificent round brick barn a dear treasure. I pray it's standing another 100 years.

Phyl, love your morning saying. I'm watch UQuarry chick and letting him know lots of people are sitting there with him. Watching his little white head bobbing and the bright lights of his little island. {{{Miss Maggie}}}  :-*

Mike left after 5am this morning for Sky Harbor. He'll be in Avon Lake, Ohio around 7pm central time.
I've got lots to keep me busy while he's gone. Planter boxes with plants that have overgrown it and ready for planting in the ground. Weeding and trimming... Wooden window blinds need to be dusted and cleaned. Windows/outdoor lights that I can reach need to be cleaned for the winter. Lots to do to keep me out of trouble.  ;D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, E4E....Hope your special day is EXTRA special!

Lori - Ooooo, that cake for E4E looks delish!  How are you and Ms Destini doing?

kb - Beautiful pic from Cass County, MN

karen - I have compared alot of Bradley's baby pics to Sydney's pic, and yep they look alot alike. Rt 18 run parallel to Rt 50.  It is the "side or back" road as we call it.  If you get off on an exit here, you are most likely going to get on Rt 18 at some point to make your way around to where you want to go....store, grocery, restaurant...etc.

tig - Enjoy your new adventures today.  :D

tsk - I thought that was the cutest serious face.  Our County wanted to close these exits last year, but was told they couldn't cause it was a state road.  Well, this past summer the county on the other side the bridge did it, and it worked out well for them.  So, I guess our County said, if they can do it why can't we try?

Lani - OMG, those pancakes, yes, please!!!!  LOL, your comment on Sydney's thoughts.  Safe travels for Mike.

Tsk, have a monarch on the screen porch.  Left the door open but it seems to think it can escape thru the screen!   I do not want to use a broom to move it.guess I will just wait a while!,

Lani, you are always busy it seems, and that is a good thing to be when Mike is out of town! I wish Ed would go out of town for a couple of months so I could clean his room and get rid of some stuff. He might get mad at me but he wouldn't ever divorce me...LOLOL! Who would keep him out of the gutter then...  Isn't it fascinating what you can learn on youtube! I want some of those pancakes!

Lori, yummy and beautiful cake for E4E!

Lisa, I think I need a visual to understand that traffic pattern...  :o :o Yes, that is a serious look on Sydney's face, and a picture looking for a caption! 'Can't you tell I'm hungry'? Or 'I'm concentrating on doing my business...' Those eyes are just too beautiful!  And what a beautiful cake for E4E!

tsk, good description of Manaaki's take off! I was thinking of the first time I jumped off the high dive at the pool, you just have to do it!

Afternoon tsk

karen - Bandit does eat a lil bit of dry kibble.  Oh, yikes on your feeder and the squirrels.

Lori - Great Caturday stuff!

Lani - Wow, on the DIY wasp trap!  LOL, the bees and rotisserie. The eyes on your Caturday kitty, gorgeous!

{{clynn}} - Super Walmart is on this side of the bridge, thank god, but it is 30 miles away!   ::)
The kitten is precious in the last pic.

kb - Beautiful fall colors  :D

T40 - Thanks for the videos.

E4E - Thanks for saying that.  :D  Reading your comment to Lani, sounds like a great show last night.

baz - I do feel Bandit and Misty in different places of the kitchen.  Bandit always gets his food down first, but he will not start eating, till I put Misty's down and he sees that she is eating hers.

Phyl - Love the pics of Maggie.

I do not have kitty pics today, but I do have one of smiling Sydney  :D

Lisa, awww,  :-* :-* BIG SMILE from Sydney!!  :D  Nothing sweeter!  :-* :-*

Hi Beakers -
Some of you have asked to see a picture of our Delorean.  This is the most up to date we have, it was taken last Sunday, Sep. 10 at a car show in Salinas, CA.

E4E, oh, wow! The DeLorean looks great!! Kris has done an outstanding job on it!!

I never know which it is 'Baz' or 'Bazi" But. Yes. Maggie's vision is fading and so is her hearing. So being considerate with her so as not to startled is rule of the day.     Just like w/ your Zippo.  ;)

...

Phyl, I answer to either one - your choice.  ;)  :D  I wanted pizza last night so bad!!

Thank you everyone in the Beak for ALL the birthday wishes - each and every message is so very special and I appreciate then ALL!!!!  I don't say this as often as I should, but the Beak has all the most wonderful folks and I respect and appreciate each and everyone of you.  Thank you!! {{Beakers}}

I left for a bit this morning, then got back and am doing a few chores and some watering, then we will leave at 1:00 to drive out of town (about 45 min.) for our Grandson's football game (which is obviously not a 'home' game)!   After that, hubby is taking me out to a wonderful restaurant for Mexican food in San Juan Bautista! :)

Phyl - Love those sweet pictures of your Maggie - she is a darling! :)

Clynn - Can't believe that in a couple of days will be a month since your beloved Honey passed.  Understandable for the tears {{{Clynn}}}   Loved all the Beatles info, and the status they held for their first hit!!  Very good info - thank you!!   That is an amazing barn-never seen one like it!!

Lani - Awe, I feel your sadness for the Maanaki/UQ and Iris empty nests syndrome. {{Lani}}  Thank you for Sharyn's update.  Safe travels for Mike - I think you said he was going to Ohio?

LisaG - Sydney is such a bright-eyed beautiful little darling!!  She always looks so happy  ;D   Yes, Kris gets lots of Back to the Future comments and a lot of children seem to like it - he actually lets children sit in it!

Tsk - Thank you - yes, Kris shined the Delorean really well before the show and he also took care to clean the windows (no hard water spots, etc). :)

Karen - I can imagine how Piper does not want those squirrels out there!

Kb - Love the autumn pic in MN  :)

Tig - You & Camper have a great day  8)

Lori - How is Destini - I see that LisaG also asked!

Bazi - Kris thanks you!

I need to get busy again before we head out, and I need to refill one of the hummer feeders!   Beakers have a nice Sunday afternoon!

Royal Albatross - 9/17
The winds & the seas called, and Manaaki responded. He has fledged.

I was watching this on the Live cam, his neighbor UQ chick is watching  :'(
This is Lady Hawk's video -   Royal Albatross ~ MANAAKI FLEDGES! Floats Down The Hill & Out Of View 💗 Congratulations! 9.16.23
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9ArgVuAv98&t=38s

Wishing Manaaki the South Plateau #RoyalCam chick
all the very best as he navigates his way across the South Pacific Ocean.

Please read Sharyn's full update below. Thank you!

9/17
...and something a little more worrisome, plastic pieces found its way into Manaaki's diet.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read Sharyn's update and thank you for all your comments, and thoughts for Manaaki today.

I will continue watching UQuarry chick.

((Lani)), ohhh... I'm so happy for Manaaki's :-*  success at growing up so nice and healthily and having such a beautiful fledge, after all the great care and feedings given by Manaaki's parents, GLY and L (and oversight by the team there). But,  :'( :'( I'm sad to wave goodbye to Manaaki.  :-* :-* And hoping for safe oceanic travels and a plastic-free full tummy in the years ahead. Hugs and  :-* :-* :-* to the UQ chick, too, who will surely miss visiting and having neighborly chats with Manaaki.  :-* :-* Hats off to GLY and L, and hugs and  :-* :-* :-* to them, with wishes for their safe travels to the S.A. area after they return and discover their Manaaki has left on his own worldly adventures and travels on the seas. Thanks so much for sharing all the pictures and reports this season!!  :-* :-*  I can surely say that after reading your post, I am verklempt.

Good Morning Beakers....Happy Sunday!

Beakers....thank you all for the kind words on Sydney's pic.   :-*

E4E - Great pic of the DeLorean.  Does Kris get alot of Back to the Future comments and jokes about it when he brings it to the car shows?

tsk - You talked about her smile and smiling eyes.  Look at this face. She looks a lil too serious.  ;D

karen - I am happy to hear that your feeder didn't go far.  Poor Piper.

clynn - I tell Bradley all the time, Sydney has your hairline.  I can see it especially in the front.
I wish we did not have any bridges to cross.  They are trying an experiment for the next 3 week for the summer traffic next year.  The summer traffic gets off the RT 50 to get What we call the back road RT 18 and that gets you around to the bridge.  That eventually backup Rt 18, and no locals can get around, even the EMS & fire dept.  They are closing off 3 exits from Rt 18, that allow you to get on Rt 50.  If you try to get on RT 18, you will have to back track and get back on Rt 50 where you tried to enter Rt 18.  I know....confusing and TMI!  ;D

Phyl - Pizza supreme, is that like one with everything?  Those are my favorite.  Pretty morning greeting.

Lani - Awww, Manaaki off on this big adventure. Wow, the things they found in his diet.   :-\
I think Sydney does have dimples.  My mama noticed them in another pic where she was smiling.  Thanks for saying I have a great feeding routine for Bandit.  I was thinking maybe I didn't .

clynn - Love the flowerpot display with the tin cans.  Sydney kids are beautiful!  Cool barn.

tsk - Oh no, that's alot of rain.  I hope it is light and not a heavy rain.

Morning to all Beakers coming in....  :D

Lisa, LOL, sweet Sydney is giving it her due consideration!  ;) :D She's a real cutie pie!  :-* :-* :-*
