Good Morning Beakers!

Just popping in to say hi for now, have to be out at Kay's by 7:00. ANOTHER dumpster to be picked up and an empty one delivered. The garage and storage room are/were all trash, except for the tools Erin got out first. I am guessing by the end it will be at least 5 dumpsters, maybe 6? It really doesn't matter how many, they charge by the weight of the trash, $50 per ton. And there is plenty of $$$ in the estate to take care of it.

Hi Clynn another busy day for you at Kay's.  Glad Erin got the tools and all out. Anymore tools are as precious and gems. Take care. We'll be here.

Lindstrom, MN....kind of quirky water tower!

Morning all...

this is a fascinating article that scientifically proves what dog owners already know...the researcher trained dogs to lie still in an MRI machine to evaluate their brains.....yes, the reward center lit up just as much or more with the voice of the owner over treats...

other interesting facts...Ollie man asks permission to do many things: like can I go downstairs etc.
For me there is no such thing as "can't teach an old dog new tricks" as he and I continue to expand our attempt to communicate new things and new feelings still, and he's now 8...

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been remiss about checking in.  Today is "clean off the patio" and set up Greenstalk planter (vertical), then transplant brassicas in there - tomorrow is transplanting the tomatoes.  They took the cold spell we've had the last 2 nights ok, but the greens bean seedlings.. not so much.  I may have to replant. Also need to harden off the green peppers/eggplants, but maybe starting next week.

Clynn - sounds like you are crazy busy - so I'll keep some tomato seedlings back for you.

LANI  Love that owls have great camouflage  :)

CLYNN  I cannot believe the number of dumpsters at Kay's - hoarder?  Is someone being paid to do all the work of loading them? or is it just Erin?

Happy caturday, beakers!  69 going to 86!  Same tomorrow.
Phyll, black spot is fairly common on regular roses in  hot, humid  areas,  never had much luck with them in the south.  Tomatoes are the same.   A lot of aphids and much  spraying required.  In the end, cheaper to buy them and best if you have a good farmers market near by!
Clynn, you are an inspiration cleaning out Kays home.  Ready for the big purge here but .i need to see what shoild go!    Everyone thinks their stuff is important and good!
Enjoying the peace and quiet without anyone here?

Tsk, yes it was way up there and we went before interstates so it was a days drive.  Walked in the woods once and encountered a black bear and two cubs!  I think it was the fastest I ever ran.

Good Caturday Morning Beakers

Currently 55 heading to 75 today - next chance of rain is next weekend, but less than 25% - gradually climbing temps for the upcoming week... into the upper 80s for next weekend, but dewpoints staying low, below 60 for the week.

Caturday!

Lani - Your 'night' post with Owl - amazing blend!  Enjoy your day - you deserve a wonderful relaxing weekend!  ;D

Phyl - I didn't know (or forgot) you live in an HOA with rules - understandable to set out the 'almost real' plant/flower boxes! ;)  I bet it looks very nice. :)
Like the Decorah pic!  Thank you for all the pics. :)

Clynn - Another busy morning for you! After everything has been cleared out of Kay's place, will the estate have some folks go in and clean the place?

Kb - Like the water tower pic!    Interesting article - a lot of good info.

Nr - Good to see you!  I see your gardening is keeping you busy  :)   I bet Clynn will love those tomato seedlings, as I remember you have shared with her!

Tsk - Lulu looks so cute in her little tent!  :)

Karen - Wow, that must have been quite the experience to have seen a mama bear with her 2 cubs during a walk in the woods! :o  Thanks for the story!

LisaG - How are you this morning?  Monday will be here soon {{LisaG}}   Hope you & Jeff have been able to keep the kittys from escaping their containment!

OG - Do you have cards tonight? :)

Hi Tig, Puff, Baz, Lori  :)

Beakers have a nice day.

OLDGUY  In that first one - he sure prepared a lot of food dishes.  i cat multiplied into many  ;D  If that is Sant he is younger than I thought.  I would hope he gets food donated.  Wonderful guy.   WOW  Pretty elaborate set up for the 3 cats   What a sweet story on the boat cat.  ;D  Saw the tone deaf thing the other day - I missed 2 towards the end.
