Thanks, Phyl.  Turkeys are active this time of year.  At daybreak, I heard them gobbling near the creek (on rewind), then at least two were displaying, strutting for a while.  So far, it's all the males, females nowhere to be seen.

Eagles busy also.  One, I think DNF, was on the creek bank, then both on the nest with materials they brought, about 8:00 AM.  Nice fly-ins on the rewind.

Phyl, black and white pics are really beautiful in snowy weather.

More pics from this morning.  There are some interesting tracks in the snow under the nest, but no pics from me.

It's a hawk, Phyl.  DNF was not happy that it flew in and chose to perch on her tree.  Eventually DNF flew off and later the hawk left as well.

You know if I had enlarged the snapshot...I'd seen that beak.

MrN came to the nest for a short while about 9:00 this morning.  Otherwise quiet abounds at DNN.

The boys really acting up tonight at North Nest.  I think it was said that they are coyotes.  Lots of howling going on!  They carry on LOUDLY at about 6:20 and then again about 6:50.  Longer session too, maybe 2 -3 minutes. For those who are practiced up on rewind, give it a try finding and listening.  Scarey.  Also, not just two - the group seems to have grown tonight.

Couple pics from just after dark at the North nest and area underneath, with coyotes barking in the background.
