Ducks and geese are feeding at the creek from about noon until 2:00, when posting pics.  Large flock of noisy crows in the area, too, but no pic.

Beautiful sunset pic, Phyl.
Just after dark, might have been a mating on a lower Love Branch, then the Norths settle in for the night on their favored branch.  Coyotes howling at the same time.

DNN morning about 10:00, DNF in a creek tree perched near a Sub-adult who was eating something.  Later, MrN brought a small stick to the nest.  Otherwise a quiet time.

Couple more pics from this afternoon.  MrN brought some grasses, and DNF was close behind with more at about 1:30 PM. An hour later they were both perching in the Scary Tree.

So, these are the trees they always perch in . And, if The Norths  are here, then The Norths are in the 'scary trees'.
And, if I see them here the I can be correct in saying,  they are in the 'scary trees.'  ::)

DNF roosted last night on the Love Tree.  Mr. N. roosted in the trees to the left and behind the Love Tree.  Mr. N. flew to the Love Tree at about 7:02 and spent a few minutes there before flying to the nest.  DNF flew to the Scary Tree (just one tree, Phyl;D) and a subadult perched above her.  DNF did some vocalizing and then flew off.  The sub gave chase and there was some confronting in the air.  Unusual to see DNF being chased.  Here's a video from GABear.

Great vid, Ginger! Thanks.
Gosh---just one tree--that's make it more difficult for this gal  to get 'it' right.   LOL

Here's a visual treat on the rewind at about 1:00 this afternoon.  Still pics don't capture the fun like video, which I can't do. Find DNF on the nest briefly at just after 1:00. Then back up to the deer feeding under the nest tree on the south side for a change. In between is a delightful fly-around of at least two eagles and maybe a hawk or crow.  It's hard to tell because the bright sunshine casts shadows at the same time. And it's all pretty fast.  DNF comes in to land briefly on the perching snag before landing on the nest.

Note for Phyl about the tree names -- There are pretty good maps and photos with labels of the DNN trees if you scroll down past the live feed screen. You can print them if you wish. And if that's not enough, I have several labeled photos that might help you.  I keep them at the bottom of my large PC screen for reference and would be happy to share.  The cam ops are wonderful about panning and zooming so you can tell which branch on which tree has the interesting view.  Names have been attached informally by various watchers so we can talk about the same places with "less" confusion.   ;)

More snow overnight.  The Norths showed up at the nest about 11:00 this morning. In and out, adding some grasses, picking at sticks until noontime posting of a pic.

Did anything happen at the North nest on Saturday?  I was away all day, so just the one early pic.

Seems very quiet this morning.  Too cold to be out and about.
