Hi Jewelies!  Already finished raining here, we were able to spend some time on the beach, but they are telling everyone to stay out of the water because of the rip currents.  Riding up and down the beach in their cop truck, telling everyone to stay out of the water and stay on the beach.  Stupid people go back in the water as soon as the truck leaves.  Made me a nervous wreck... I didn't want to watch someone drown!  Now, we're waiting for our pizza to get here.

cal... So hot at your place!!  Like I always say... there's never a dull moment at your house!  lol  That was a cool car... I'd love to have one that could park like that!  I haven't seen any special instructions for tornados...it would be cool to watch, but on the 21st floor?  Not so sure about that...  lol 

JP... Hope your dental problems aren't too awfully bad!

Hi Ra! stupid people getting back in the water. like a shark attack posted signs people say oh i don't see any shark i am getting back in the water well go ahead! sharks gotta eat too. rather they eat stupid people than poor seals. no you don't want to watch a tornado on the 21st floor. probably be a cool thing to see but then there you would be in the ocean and with the rip currents and cops yelling get out of the water. how many times we got to tell you!! that car was cool.  hope your pizza got there! i got to hit the barn one more time and then find me something to eat. jim went to work on missy ac. he did another ac job and their coil deal wasn't bad so he took that out and going to try to put it in missys unit. he also took over a couple of windows units to put in her house in case that doesn't work she has one window unit. she has pets in the house and they got to be cool. her ac works but not very well and as it gets hotter making it work less.

Cal, the fishing worm smell went away! Lol! Just a small chance of rain tomorrow and then no rain till the weekend! Temps are cooler, too, only in the 70's next couple days. Super hot over the weekend. My sister actually left this morning on vacation, heading towards AZ! I really thought she would find a reason not to go. She said they would be back on the 20th but I'm betting they come back before then. She is so worried that one of them will get sick while they are away. She even told me that if they both are killed, she wants me to have them cremated where ever they die so it won't cost as much to ship them home!! Hope Pete can get Scootie on the right meds so he doesn't have those awful spells again or be a zombie. Molly and Boo have both drank to much and then puked! I don't know why they do that. That 5 wheel car was neat! I sure could use one of those! I can't parallel park to save my life! Lol! Your Jim is a good guy helping Missy out with her ac!

Jp, I like Carmen! That's a good suggestion! Hope your dentist appt went well. I hate to go to the dentist.

Ra, whew, I was so worried that the tropical storm was coming your way! Good thing you refused to go to the other beach!  Those rip currents are so dangerous! Stupid people why don't they listen? Was the pizza good?

Hi rues!  Yup, the pizza was good.  Have you got Hungry Howie's around you?  We first had one of their pizzas up at my mom's.  So good!  We don't have them at home.  We like their sesame seed crust.  We also had cinnamon crazy bread, yum!  lol   The rest of the week should be good weather here.  The governor of FL has declared this storm a disaster, so there's a chance that I can file a claim with my credit card company and get my original money back!!  Oh, I sure hope so!  lol  Your sister sounds like she really thinks something's going to happen!  That's kinda scary!  Why does she think that?

Boy, JP & Ra sure had some weather today! I was keeping an eye on that mess. JP are you going to have more storms this week?

I wanted to post these pics before I go to bed. These are of the new little girl bear. I just happened to check out the camera at the right time. I don't know who the other folks are, but you will recognize Dr Rogers. I think he is feeding her grapes.







There will be lots more pictures tomorrow from the Bear Center, I'm sure.

Rues there is a Facebook page called "For the Love of Old Houses" that I follow. This house was posted the other day. It's in Parkersburg. Have you seen it? LOL!  It is sure pretty!

Hi dlong!  We didn't get much bad weather out of this storm... t'storms in the night last night, and rain and rip tides today, but tomorrow is supposed to be nice again.  Thanks so much for the pics of "our" new baby bear!  Can't wait to see what she's like...

The dentist made an appointment for me with the oral surgeon (on June 15)  to remove the remains of the two teeth that broke off from the gums and then we will look and see what can be done.  They were two lower front teeth adjacent to each other.  He didn't think there was much that could be done about a partial since the adjacent teeth are weak and could break off at any time.  We'll wait and see what the next episode is.

dlong, good to see  pictures of the little girl, now in her new home.  Nice old house with the beautiful porch.  Things are not expected to be anything but usual weather in the coming weeks, here.

Our new yearling female comes from the mountains of southern Kentucky, 30 miles from the Tennessee border?raised by a man who found her and a sibling trying to nurse on their dead mother who was killed by a truck. New bear en route
Bill and Bitsy Sloan wrote: "In trying to get the last grape she got under the cage mat and could not figure out how to get back. So she just folded it over and used it as a bed and is now having a little nap."
He said the mother had been dead for 2-3 days. It was July 13, 2015. He caught the little 8.? pound female, but her sibling escaped with little chance of survival. Eight and a half pounds is light for a 5- or 6-month-old cub. He took care of her and let her come and go as she wanted, but there was nowhere better she wanted to go. She remained mostly on his 50 acres, staying near the man and playing with his dog. She became the man?s companion. She slept with him at times, rode with him in his pickup, and took walks with him in the woods. He pulled ticks off her as she lay on her back as if he was her mother. The man, his dog, and the bear lived deep in the woods, using generators and solar power for electricity. Then, something happened that made him more protective of his ward. A big male came through and was too interested in the cub. Knowing males can kill cubs, the man ran him off and began locking the cub up at night. He continued to feed her through the winter, making her more advanced in development than might be typical for her age.

To bring her to her new home, Lily Fan volunteers Bill and Bitsy Sloan and Bill?s business partner Randy drove a thousand miles to Kentucky yesterday and are now within two hours of arriving at the Bear Center this evening. Then they have to drive back to Wisconsin and be at work tomorrow. Thank you all.

Reports from everyone are how sweet this bear is. I can?t wait to meet her. Excitement reigns. The bear is used to riding in a vehicle, so she was calm. The picture shows her sleeping. People here are ready to love this new bear like they love the others. We hope the new bear will love her new home. We?ll let her settle in and get to know her humans and the ambassador bears. It is customary to have a period of quarantine. We are working on the advice of veterinarians and doing everything possible to give the bear a good home.

Good morning jewelies! it is 54 here so nice! Girls out in the pasture eating. i was sneaking in the barn fed sweets the cat and racoons. I was happy to see our new little bear sleeping in her crate for the ride and how nice of them to go get her. Her story sad though losing her brother and that losing that man who raised her. i hope he will come to the bear center and see her like cindy did for honey. I am sure she will love dr. rogers and them. she will have a happy and safe home. i bet lots of pictures to come tomorrow but i can breath now cause she is there.

Hi JP! love the picture of sharon! One of my teeth is broke off at the gum i can feel a little piece of it so hoping dr. hanson can pull it not have to cut it out and then put that implant right in like the other one. the other one that broke off i can see the bottom of it. so you have teeth around the broke one? maybe they can do a permanent bridge. well royals got out of cleveland but lost to the orioles. i don't know what we are going to do. losing all these games. we got up to 1st place winning like crazy at home but not since.

Hi Rues! good fish smell gone. i hope your sister doesn't up and go. i watched some of that six feet under about a family running a funeral home and each show starts with someone dying. i hope pete can get scootie fixed too. i don't want so much medicine he is a zombie. have to run walmart real early here get some dry dog food wiffle ball bat but boo boo been real good slept in my room was a good boy. he has to learn he is not the only dog. hard for him to learn that hard for calihoula and corey dog too. scootie says hey what about me and griz shoves right in there. jim is gone augie is the worst. give me all the attention..barn time..sweets want all the attention. i put some stuff animals in his stall. so funny too i got a fish and when you throw it makes a fishy noise. i put it in his bed and he would not get in his bed. finally he real careful like went up there and tossed that fish to the other side..it make a noise and he cocked his head jumped off his bed and really rammed that fish! lol

Hi Ra! I heard on the world news gov declared that storm a disaster and i heard tornado! wow happy you are okay!! the little bear she is so cute ra.

Hi D! Thank you for the pictures of her!! yes that is dr. rogers. I emailed the bear center when honey had to go. offered to buy her a headstone and dr. rogers wanted me to call him gave me his number and i did. i talked to him for almost an hour. such a nice man.  I know you liking this weather right now. hope it stays cool for me to take scootie today.

Willi, Joe & Chester are doing great.  Joe is down to just a sling without the big padded deal that goes between the sling and his side and basically just needs it if he is out and about as a "stop sign" so someone doesn't come up and hug and slap his shoulder and go "hey, long time no see"    Chester is the huggiest guy and has to have one even if I've just gone out to the mailbox "mom you were gone!!"

I could see a little bear named Carmen (insert heart emoticon).

Wow that cage seems small, the new bear must be a little gal!!!

We're up to 61 at noon from down in the 50's.  I absolutely positively love it, it could stay like this for months on end.

Ok just saw the pictures of the little gal and she IS little!  Adorable    She even looks little in the cage, wow.  Those are going to be two tired people at work today, wow.  I'm glad if the man was going to start raising her he made sure she'd be safe with the big male around and got her headed to where she can be happy.  He must have gotten awfully attached to her.

Hi you guys! well i got my scootie down to petes. was running late too. fiddling around in the barn. one of my fans the blade is all bent up. anyway scootie just the best ever. put on his harness took him out the side door and he got in old smokey i had to give him a leg up. got down there and chance the office cat outside. i hate him out really busy highway right in front of the clinic. got him back in scolded him went and got scootie. there was an old man holding his little dog a little weiner dog so cute i told him don't worry scootie a nice boy. told scootie lets go over and weigh you old man leaning over looking at the scale. scootie got right on them.. 165! oh no scootie has gain 10 lbs since last year! trying to get that belly fat off of him not trying very hard. that old man his eyes popped out! lol there was two kids and their mom in there. the oldest kid probably like 12 looked just like harry potter right down to the glasses he was kinda i don't know. he said that is a big dog can i pet him i said well sure. i was watching scootie that kids was all over him. scootie was laying down and that kid was laying on him i said you said pet not lay on my dog. missy told him to get up. her mom was holding their new puppy so cute too a walmart puppy someone in the parking lot pushing off the puppies. half german shepherd and half rotty. really cute her name is sadie. harry potter he gets her and pushes her in scooties face! i was like poor scootie. scootie being a good boy too. missy said you need to get sadie out of scooties face. his little brother got her. harry potter says missy do you have any dog here she said yes he goes what kind big dogs like this one she said a golden retriever and he wanted to see it she said he is in the back and no you can't go back there. pete came out said hi to me and called harry potters mom back and i thought oh boy he is leaving and then harry potter said no i am going to stay out here!! diane came and took scootie blood for his test and scootie was really good. harry potter got down on the floor and laying on him again and a little growl from scootie. missy told him leave that dog alone. he just got a whole tube from that arm and you hurt it. i told him hey you look just like harry potter and he did not like that!!! i said you don't like harry potter not really. oh well you look just like him! diane said pete may just raised scootie medicine cause for his weight he really is not on that much phenobarb. test be back tomorrow so hoping pete will fix it where it so the boy has no more seizures. i wore my sister friends forever bracelet that i got boobie and ca gave it back to me. first time i wore it afraid i will lose it but i needed her with me today. so missy said jim got alot done on her ac last night she had the girls and when jason the pos ex came to pick them up he would not even pull in the driveway cause jim was there!! girls be home tonight and i told missy i will come with jim tonight. she said her coil jim took out was so filthy and it was leaking water. her floor and walls so running a fan. jim put them ac units in the windows for them so missy said the house was really cool this morning. jim should have her big unit ready to go tonight. he got the old leaking nasty one and put the new in just has to solder it.  sister might call me from caseys tonight i will say hey i am right down the road at missys come here!
