hi lupe my county had 33 case at one time now it is 299 2 deaths. i do see people wearing a mask i got my gloves on too.  vaccine not far away. missy called me this morning i told her about sister and she said sounds like maybe she was exposed to it so put her on quart for ten days miss exposed to it last week and she is home on quart right now. she does not have it. she has been thru so much so she is home. sister had that smokers gagging cough bad i usually leave the room till her fit is over and she never covers up her mouth sister cover up your mouth!! have to tell her everything i did not have human kids by choice. so she is suppose to call later i will ask her if she was sent home cause of that but i am sure she will not know or even understand that really. frustrating. but is she had ykw i would think with her poor lungs due to 40 years of hard smoking would take a toll on her. yay you got football to watch i got the blacklist! i love my games and yes its just me too. i use to love to play cards pitch 3 10 13 point spades trade two cards or not play all night long with mom and dad davis boobie tom and them i like to play dominoes use to play with sister and jim but have not for a long time no time anymore when i got some rather play animal crossing my switch games.. oh loved to play monopoly with my niece jeanne we always felt sorry for the one who was running out of money and gave them money game never ended till we put it up.  :)  are you out in jimmy?

Good morning everyone- my normal posting time came and went with Izzy laying with her chin on the keyboard. Difficult to type that way.  lol

30 here and a bit breezy, very cloudy with maybe rain on the way. Iowa won last night. It seemed very weird to be watching college football on a friday night. I only stayed up to see part of the third quarter. But when i got up early there was a rerun on so i actually got to watch the whole game.  Finished at 5 AM.

cal- we have been driving jimmy now. We do take our cell phone with us and the number of someone who can rescue us if need be.  Hubby has used it some too. I'm still driving bertha as he gets the best mileage of everything we have. When my mom and dad were alive we used to play  cards too. Loved it- usually more than my spouse though. My dad was fierce- if he and his partner won and we were getting ready to quit for the night he would hand us the deck of cards and say maybe we should take them to bed to practice.  lol

Well- i'm going out to walk before the rain arrives.

Have a great day jewelies!

Hi Jewelies!  Nice day here, but it's going to get chilly again this week.  We went to our very last high school football game last night!  We won, too.  It was senior night... no,not senior citizens, but the class.  Can't believe youngest grand is graduating next spring.  Makes me feel old.  We sat in front of a veteran and his therapy dog.  Very pretty dog, Ranger, and very well behaved.  I asked his owner if his dog liked football, and he said he thought he just liked being outside.  It got cold, but no rain.

cal... Seems weird for neither one of to have a game today, bye weeks.  I guess Clemson needs it to lick their wounds.  lol  Too bad we lost, but glad it was to a top 4 team instead of an unranked one. I guess my ex is getting really bad... he was in the hospital for three days and never told anyone.  Now, he's home, but not eating or drinking and nobody to take care of him.  I haven't watched Blacklist yet... maybe tomorrow.  Hope I recorded it right... this new system is a lot different than at&t's way to record.

lupine... You finished watching your game at 5am??  lol

joho and rues... I have a pot of Chili-O chili on the stove now.  Sounds good, doesn't it?   ;)  Have you two been able to find it at your stores yet?  Hope so!

I've been working on my Nordic room and have played some of the games.  Speaking of games...  lol... I've probably got you all beat.  Every day that I don't have to work, when I get up I first read my emails, then go to the forum and read the posts, do the puzzles that cal posts, 7 little words, the jigzone puzzle of the day, solitaire, hearts, jewel quest, spider solitaire,  free cell, sudoku, word search, hangman, the ornament smashing game from last year's advent calendar,  and the free online crossword puzzle... then I'm done.  lol  They say to do a lot of puzzles to keep your mind sharp... I'd hate to think what my old mind would be like if I didn't do all these puzzles!  lol

Have a good day, Jewelies!

Hi cal... Funny how this "sharp" mind just can't seem to grasp technical stuff!  lol  My daughter checks on her dad, I told her she needs to do it every day now.  I'm out of the loop, he hasn't given me the time of day for some odd reason, who knows, so not my place to take care of him.  He has two sons too, but isn't talking to his oldest.  He won't tell her what is wrong with him... just says he was in pain.  I think he's just done with this life.  Can't see anymore, and can't do all the things he loved to do, and doesn't want to ask for help.  I really don't blame him, I might be the same way if I was in his condition.  Clemson grand calls him occasionally, and takes him out to eat or shopping, but youngest grand doesn't have much to do with him.   I still have the cable that I got last summer.  It's been pretty good since the power was out, but phone still isn't what it should be.  Never had phone issues with at&t... I might have messed up by changing phone carriers.   :-\

Daily Updates
Tasha Doing What Bears Do - UPDATE November 14, 2020
14 November 2020
 Print Email
Ted - 11-7-20
Ted - 11-7-20

A couple days ago, "Happycub" got a picture of Ted resting in a position to show us the distinquished white hair he is (proudly?) developing as he approaches his 24th birthday.

Tasha in den
Tasha in den

Tasha making her den in the open-mouthed rock den with a camera aimed at it is an opportunity. We all can watch as Tasha does what bears do but is doing it undisturbed where we all can see. We?ve caught bits of this in the wild, but the open-mouthed den gives a better opportunity to see it in good detail. I?m glad we spent the money on such a good camera. She is making her den of entirely wild materials. What looks like straw is actually grass. This morning she was fastidiously pulling apart a ball of raked-up grass and working it into the nest she had built. It was good that Sharon and the staff decided not to give her straw and let us get the most out of the viewing opportunity. It is nice to see Tasha peacefully concentrating on the details of arranging her den. And thank you "Taughtbybears" (Taught by Tasha?) for capturing this nearly 6-minute video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu8k7X8XLSo

Thank you all for all you do, including your donations through GiveMN.
