T40, I hope you don't mind that I'm going to share this post of yours in the Forum's thread for the Operation Migration Whooping Cranes. at:

I am beyond angry about this!  I don't care how young this person is who shot and killed these 2 Whooping Cranes, he better get an active prison term out of it as far as I'm concerned... The story says the max he can get is 6 months, and I hope he gets sentenced to a good portion of that, and has to serve it.  Someone has to start having the guts to enforce such laws!  What good are these laws without enforcement?
