(((Phyl and Maggie)))

Had flea issues twice!  First  Time a real battle the second time not so bad.

All the pictures of cathedrals have a humming Winchester Cathedral I’m thinking maybe Theo will post the link to that song

Half the back fence is fixed!  Open the side fence that belongs to me on the street side holes up a little longer and hate the mix of colors now surrounding my yard two shades of yellow and two shades of gray and I’m not as pleasant as they sound a neighbor has a black fence and actually it’s really great and I would they these fences that color if I thought I could get away with it I’m afraid the stain would go through the slats and color it on the side that belongs to somebody else and I don’t think that’s a good thing to do. I might do it on the Short panels on either side of the house ,street side.
Storms are expected I think on Friday and my prayers are that I’m leaving Pines stay in the yard where they’re planted. I truly do not need a pine tree in my yard after taking mine out and these trees are a danger to everyone and they’re not coming out until next week. I was hoping they would take the pines out and then fix the fence but that did not happen. I also was hoping they would give me my brace that I had on the fence holding the old one up, but that didn’t happen either if I see  Them tomorrow I’m going to ask if they will return that brace to me as it could come in handy during the next storm and I have room for it in the garage. If the other neighbor ever starts to repair that fence I will make sure and tell him that I want those braces as there are many more of them there than the one that was in the  area just repaired.

Storm coming in .friday and I hope thes all good leaning trees stay in the  pwners yard.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, CLYNN!  I'm sorry this is late. I'm glad you got to spend some of your birthday moolah at the garden center, and I hope you enjoy your dinner out this weekend!  :)

Good Morning......!

Today   74F and Tonight  59F

Thank you all for your support and concern for my Maggie. Dr. Steele called yesterday to expound on Maggie's test results...her heart has gotten a bit worse as are her little kidneys. However, this is somewhat in line with her advanced age. She'll have a new Rx for her arthritis as I have  to
help her up and down certain pieces of furniture...she'll sit there and give me a look " Well, aren't you going ot help?"  We'll know more after  this Friday's appointment. And, I'll fill y'all in then.
Jim's cough is still hanging on . I've lost this post twice  >:(

I'm sorry some of you have had difficulties  . Safe travels for Aly and Dewey  .  Glad to hear about 'Nellie'. {{{Bandit & Misty}}}   Luv the snap of Honey Bun in her kitty condo; new word 'Chillaxing'  ;) ; awesome glowing moon ; {{{Karen & Piper}}}; I think my Jim would love the sea salt and dark chocolate (is his fave chocolate)

Have a good day Beakers !

   Prayers for:
Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders. Doctors & nurses, teachers and especially our clergy. My sweet Maggie. 'Little Gray' and 'Little One' . And  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
Ling-Xiao Zhe the 6 month old Snow leopard cub of Suojia Township Quinghai,  fell from a cliff  4-2025  survived ,recovering at  Xining Wildlife Park, China .... all those like him world over.   And, all wildlife.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, I don't mind belated birthday wishes! ;D I hated to read that Ms Maggie isn't doing well... and you know we are all praying for her and for you. I hope the new meds will help. How old is she now? You take such good care of her... Glad to hear the knee injection seems to be helping! I wish Jim could get rid of that dang cough! And how are you doing besides the knees?

Lani, I am so happy that you are so happy! Glad to hear Aly and Dewey made it safely home! I bet Sadie and Dewey's tails haven't stopped wagging!  And Iris got a fish from New Guy! And yes, she is sure doing a lot of yakking at the poor guy! I just checked, she is sound asleep with her head tucked in...  Thanks for the Royal Albie updates!

baz, Honey Bun, she looks like she belongs! Thanks for the birthday wishes, you know late doesn't matter! I would really rather not have any more!!!

karen, we have a corner lot, so no neighbors on one side, and there are no houses behind ours, just a road for the condo duplexes there, and the fence we share with the neighbor on the right is a short fence, so no biggie, it will be our turn to fix it when it falls. That's the way they do it here, the fence between the houses is almost always a short picket-like fence. I guess it's more neighborly!

tsk, I spent the rest of my birthday money and then some yesterday!   ::) ::) Got a few more impatiens and a new hosta called Dancing in the Moonlight, it has ruffled leaves with white edges.

Lisa, I have never heard of a critter allergic to fleas! Glad to hear Misty is doing better!

I thought of you earlier this morning BL.  Would have helped if you had a personal message account here. . .

How about a journey to Patagonia.  Great company who does Alaska (at the other end of the Americas).  That's where I've been in touch, the way far north end.  Couldn't in my wildest dreams, or current body, take this adventure.  Look them up and see their program.

Don't forget to slow down, stop and smell the roses...

Happy Thursday!.....am hoping Andrew shows up to do all the work assigned to him today.....we shall see.
Sometimes he's a day late.... :( If so, I'll supervise and plant my annuals on a warm but cooler day which is perfect.

Good Morning Beakers

Lani - Wow, 10 yrs for the Royal cam.  In all the years we had animals, we have never had anything like this with fleas.  I see Aly and Dewy has arrived, yay!  I bet you are so glad to have her home.

tig - Glad to hear that you had a knowledgeable service tech come out to look at the love seat.  As you said, hope all or some will be approved.

tsk - Love your morning greeting and thanks for kind words on my greeting yesterday.  Misty nor Bandit has scratched since I put the flea stuff on them, but will continue to spay and clean inside and out.  Vet said, we may be bringing them inside from outside on our shoes or pant legs. Bradley has his surgery yesterday, all went good, he said.  Gets his bandages off tomorrow and post op visit 5/15.

Phyl - Glad to hear that you got your PC fixed.  When you mentioned your Chrome browser problem, having too many tabs open was one of the suggestions as to why it may be shutting down.  Prayers for ((Maggie))  Hope Jim's cough goes away soon.  How are you feeling?

karen - Hope you make out ok with the storms coming Friday.

baz - Honey Bun looks like she is having a great time visiting her VA kinfolk home.  Misty is feeling better, just not quite her normal self.  She has been very quiet, and staying in one room.

clynn - Pretty in pink again this morning.  Misty got scabs on her from scratching the flea bites, and that is how vet knew she was allergic to them.  Pretty hosta!  Great pic of the Milky Way.

Puff - Morning  :)

kb - Aww, stop and smell the roses.  :)

Clynn... Pretty
Lisa.... Our poodle got fleas once. I let her walk in tall grass up at the lake. Oops. Luckily, it was our last day. She was treated and the house bombed. Never again.
