Jim here...

Sorry, Phyllis asked me to post this Thursday. I got busy with work and her.

Wednesday Ortho Doc said Bursitis. Aspirated 15ml of blood from knee. Sent it off ofr test
Big blood clot is left at base of knee. Suppose to dissolve n time
Ordered to stay off knee , elevate and ice  until next Wednesday's Doc visit.  Next Tue3sday 4:30pma scan  of right knee.
She's have a tough recovery for some reason. Told  she cant sit at desk with out elevating. So far she can’t figure out how to do that with this desk.
I've been peeking inhere  having a look around from time to time. Is that 'okay' ?

Says to remind  she's always logged in  24/7.  Whatever that means.

Have a good one.

Thank you Jim for the update on Phyl's.

Phyl's I hope each day finds your knee better and better.

Here's a gentle group hug from your Beaker friends and some of your bird buddies ..  :-*

KB  She certainly could hit the high notes!

PUFF   So happy to hear you are now ready for PT.  Will they come to the house or must you go to where???  So sorry about all the computer issues.  Makes me very grouchy when that happens.

BL   What a sweet note to PHYL  ;D ;D ;D

Barb ( in Florida) woke at 1 AM  diarrhea and vomiting at the same time - Norovirus I suspect.  Tom went out to get some Gatorade.
I feel so bad for anyone who gets this.

Happy Day, Beakers! :)

Phyl, keep recuperating and feel better soon! Thanks, Jim!

I made fresh guac this morning to have during the game. And I made a spinach, tomato, and gouda cheese omelet for brunch for Zippo and me. Extra coffee for me.

Gotta run a quick errand, and then back to watch the new tv commercials. Will take bathroom breaks during the game so I won’t miss the ads.   ;)

Oh, the game! I’m wearing red and gold, head to toe. Yeah, baby. Go Chiefs!  :D

P. S. Zippo sez no way she’s pulling for any Eagles!  ;D

Sending wishes for comfort and healing to All in need.

Take care, Beakers, and have a good day! Peace.

BL, What do the numbers 1 2 3 mean above the pine trees?

And btw no Elk or herds were seen last Autumn. Not one. Darn it.

Paulie Just visually labeled reference points above the pine trees as seen from this camera.

In the region where your cabin is in, they the Elk, are notoriously shy, shadowy and cyclical especially so with the topsy turvy Fall and Winter weather of the past decade.    :-\

That's why I still smile so hard at your front row elevated porch Eye to Eye with the Guy.    8)

Magnificent Deer they are.
BL, Okay. Thanks for the explanation.

Interesting about the Elk being so shy etc. I did not know that. The Fall and Winter weather makes sense.

You made me laugh at your "front row" etc description of my encounter with "the Guy." True ... Huge! And yes Magnificent.

Sunday Blessings Beakers!  :)
Morning Eagles4, Lisa, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Kb, Tsk, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Clynn, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, BL, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

{{{Phyl, Jim and Miss Maggie}}} Phyl I pray this is a better day. Take care.

Clynn, Beautiful Sunday posts.... Stunning photos of the Arches National Park.... there are so many wonderful historic places to explore in the midwest! When I traveled with Mike to check out his asphalt/milling jobs, I was the map reader. I loved looking out for historic markers. Fun fun fun! I still watch Wagon Train reruns, and listen to westerns on my iphone.... {{{Sam, Sophie and Harley}}}

Lisa, love this mornings cup!

{{{Puff}}} Happy to read your wrist is improving. YAY! I pray monitor results will be good, and pt will help too... good luck with the internet  :-\.  ... I wish I was that kitty too! Living its best life!!

Tsk, at least Tim shows interest in what you are making. Mike has never bought me a cookbook! Just the basics for him, meat and potato. I wouldn't like meat balls in split pea soup either.... prayers for Barb. I hope she goes to Urgent Care.

Kb, Whitney's version will always be #1!

BL, sweet post to Phyl

Karen, Tsk, what an eagle fight, glad to know it ended okay. I could barely watch to the end! She was brave to get in the middle of that. She acted like it was a brawl between two kids... I'm surprised the eagles didn't turn around and bit her.  :o

Hi Baz, Nervous about the game. I'll be here alone, Mike left for Ohio an hour ago.. I've got my snacks ready and red on!! Sorry Zippo, GO CHIEFS!!  8)

Paulie, yes, waiting for Spring! It's what we do all winter...  ;D  I usually get Eggland's Best XL eggs at Walmart, they haven't had any at all for the last 3 weeks. Walmart brand $9.12 for 18. Our Hy-Vee grocery hasn't had any EB for several weeks, but I never get them there, they were much higher than Walmart.
clynn, True! Well said! "It's what we do all winter." LOL My heavens Walmart brand $9.12 for eggs. Honestly .. and I'm surprised I'm going to say this .. maybe $9.12 isn't a bad price for 18. Can't believe I said that.
--------
OH MY!! I haven't a clue why that's highlighted and so bold!! Oops. I haven't a clue what I did to do that!  ::)

paulie At least once a week, mostly twice, I have a "hardboiled" egg (actually nuked).  My first thought, 2or 3  jumbo everyday is a lot of cholesterol.  My problem is to find extra large at least - otherwise it's only like 2 bites.  What I find in our area markets is the lack of jumbo - at least 4 bites per egg.  Bought a carton of jumbo last week at Jewel, tsk.  $6.59.  Mostly impossible to find - Mariano's more frequent.
P
Puff, Nice to a carton of jumbo for $6.59.  I agree to a lot of cholesterol having 2 or 3 jumbo everyday.

PAULIE  Always happy to see you drop in.  Wow, that is a lot of eggs hubby eats  :o.  I always hard boil  a few for Tim so he can snack on something protein vs carbs  LOL   He likes an egg salad sandwich too  :)   Well you can hope that your flu was a mild version of the worst possible.  I sure am on the lookout for that Norovirus - uggs from what I have heard from one of my friends who had it.
Aww Tsk Thank you. Agreed to hubby and lots of eggs. Too much. That's very nice of you to hard boil a few for Tim. That's a healthy snack. Mmm to egg salad sandwich.

Oh my yes stay away from that Norovirus from what I've heard about it too. Sounds like your friend had it rough.

I'm going to reply to posts this way. I was taking up too much space before. Sorry about that. I'm not used to replying as much in Cheers.  :)

Lisa, Thank you about me feeling better.

Jim/Phyl, Thank you Jim for the updated info on Phyl. Prayers continue for Phyl's healing.

Lani, Hi back at ya! Sorry you're still feeling tired. I don't think it's flu for you because you'd have other symptoms I think. Maybe a doctor visit and blood test would determine if you're low on B12 or something and getting a boost through a med will help you. Just a thought. Eggs! You get Jumbos too! Mmmm to poached.

BL, Aww that was a very considerate message to Phyl. Very nice.

Well had an ice storm here last night. I've been waiting all day for melt so I can take trash cans to curb. I sprinkled ice melt earlier.
Going to go look again. I want to get this done. It's cold out!

I wish everyone a pleasant afternoon and enjoy watching the Super Bowl this evening .. and the commercials!  :)

Eggs: the healthiest food on the planet imho.  Recent research proves they don't have much of an impact on blood cholesterol as previously thought....I knew that decades ago.
Eat your heart out with eggs!

I'm about ready to grill some steak...the second healthiest food on the planet imho.!

I have no skin in the game today. Will peek in is all and maybe look for the celebratory parts and commercials.

Lani, I don't understand... Why are you saying "Sorry Zippo" ? ? ?  I said she is NOT pulling for any Eagles! LOL, because Eagles eat birds!  :o  That means Zippo's pulling for the Chiefs, with me! And you!!   :D  Oh wow - I guess Mike will get to his hotel in time to watch the game, I hope. You can cheer and shout and eat however you want... LOL. Enjoy your game snacks! Go Chiefs!  ;D

KB  Thanks  I texted her with the info.

BAZI    LOL  BR breaks during the game...LOL

LANI  Oh no, are those the holy Lamb slippers for this order of nuns??  LOLOLOL   There really is nothing they can do for the virus except to keep hydrated.  Our friend Jean had it and she just weathered the storm.  I think she will know if she has to go to ER.
With that eagle video I had to believe she has had some experience with eagles otherwise kind of reckless?  Oh no. Mike will have to rely on his phone for the score  LOL  Maybe that is a better way  ;D
