Dear Lord, please no more loss at this nest.
I pray they both can fight this.

PHYL   Love those red and white mugs  ;D   Thanks for posting the glimpse into the Super bowl ads.  I missed that .  Some are really good.

LANI   That Royals tracking map is interesting - They sure go far to find food.  I can't wait to hear what they find out about both chicks.  Yikes - 4-6 months  WOW

LISA   There's that cool cup cozy again. Pretty soft pinks  :D  Endocrinologist happy??

KB   Good for you.  Think you will be very impressed with how newer models work.  Hated to give up my 6 yr old phone but SO glad I did with all the new features.  I will have to get a new PC computer this year but am putting that off til warmer weather.  My niece will hopefully do the switch for me.

BAZI   You could be right.  If it is and the adults have also ingested, their immune systems my be able to handle it unlike chicks - Let's pray for that!!

I don't think I can face reading about the adults at the nest .....

tsk - Endo was happy that I have stayed at 7.3 with A1C for a year and 5 months on the insulin pen, but what I have noticed in that year and 5 months is my legs swell during the day.  At first, I thought it was my socks I was wearing, so I bought diabetic socks, and it is still happening.  She said, the insulin I was on could cause edema, so she gave me two options: 1) stay on the insulin and add blood pressure meds, or 2) get off the insulin and take an additional oral med at breakfast and dinner to keep my blood sugars regular.  I went with option 2, and we will see how that goes before I start taking BP meds.

Lani and kb - Praying that the SWFL adults will be OK!

LISA   Glad you opted for #2.   Tim used to be controlled with meds for years until it finally caught up with him.   And you don't cheat like he does so it should work well for you.  Good thing you're trying this to see if it is really the insulin.  Didn't realize insulin could do that.   Has the snow melted in NO yet?  LOL

tsk - this is an apple laptop. I haven't used a PC in decades. Not assuming you were speaking of that. But, this apple product operates just like it did 11 years ago. Completely. No difference that I can see at all and that suits me very well.

the only difference is physical. I picked the same size. 13 inches. I thought it was smaller and it is. But the screen fills the whole laptop so the only difference is my older one had a border around it. It's also much lighter.

I have read the posts Kay be referred to about F 23 showing symptoms. This is strange because I looked at the Pritchards site and read the king cam operator reports of today’s activities and M 15 flew north at about 12:50 PM and F 23 flew north at 6:30 PM. There was no mention of either of them looking poorly when they left, and neither of them had returned to the nest at this hour. I am hoping that the Prichard reports are correct and they both will be back in the nest area soon flying strong and who knows a double clutch I think it’s possible and 15 loves his eaglet I along with bass and taking red tide, which I thought was usually a summertime event, but just saw an article stating that it has been very bad in January of this year.
As usual as he  SEDS
Thanks Leilani I just saw that you posted the link to the red tide article. I was able to open it, so hope that others can access it.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, the SWFL news is so sad... Remember back to 2020, Harriet and M15 had a second clutch in February (2/22 and 2/25), after E14 died and the second egg did not hatch. That is what I am hoping for...   Love the beautiful Siamese good night!  I hope RLK returns today, amazing how far they travel!

Nest history:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southwest_Florida_Eagle_Cam

karen, I could open the link, I hope that is not the issue. We need some good news!

Lisa, you made the choice I would have made, for sure. Sometimes the body can right itself and one would never know if on too many meds. Like blood pressure meds, if you change your eating habits or lose weight or whatever, how would you know when you didn't need the blood pressure meds anymore.

baz, good to see you!!

LANI   I was able to open KAREN's Fish and Wildlife Service article about red tide along SWFL coast.  Possible cause of the deaths??
How did your Zoom meeting go?

CLYNN  Thanks for that SWFL nest history.  For a minute there I thought you outright remembered it!  LOL  Here's hoping NEFL has better luck.

I've tried twice in two days to get my car washed - Only about 12-15 cars ahead of me yesterday  LOL  I will persevere.

Good Morning Beakers ... Happy Wednesday !

Today 60F and Tonight  34F

I was on my feet too much yesterday and the injured knee was angry.
So been in the Lazyboy with ice packs for hours.
I'm not a sitter...My bum is aching!

Doc's office called ...I couldn't get to phone in time. They left a
message to return call. Turns out I have to reschedule to next week on same day (Wednesday)  Feb. 5, 2025 but earlier in the PM...1:50.    :(   does no use to get angry.

Karen- 'Red Tide' SWFL coast  link works for me

Lani- love the Siamese kitties last night;  safe return for  RLK  they do travel so very far.

{{{Lisa}} so glad you took option 2 . 🙏s

CLynn- Awww. This is a wonderful tribute to E24 and E25 eaglets. Again, just breaks my heart. :(  Tks for that SWFL nest history.
Hope  NEFL has ' better luck'.

Lani- interesting Royal A tracking map tks. Will be on edge for the test results on Prichett eaglets...4 to 6 mos.  Hope your 'Zoom" meeting
went well
