 Beakers ...

Currently today   35F / 42F high  and  Tonight  32F

*Sigh*  Lots of pain and lots of EX Tylenol.  Gosh...I can hardly wait for Wed.'s doc appt. I did order thru Amazon a light compression sleeve for my knee. Hopefully that will work. That ACE is bruising my knee. And, leaving wrinkled bruises behind my knee.  Gonna need more tylenol.  Gonna go back to bed. Jim's due at work by 9AM  so have help for a tiny bit today.

Tsk- I sent them to your PM here at RRP.  So,  I resent to your private e-mail last night. I just don't want to publish here...
I'm very concerned about the fluid build up in the knee and lower leg.

CLynn-  tks for good wishes; strange story about Ed on your honeymoon; pretty photos this AM; Oh no! SWFL E24  suddenly passed away .  :'(
Hope they discover the cause.

Lani-  tks for the Royal update and snaps of the hatch and pips. New Life is always a celebration.  Congrats on Chiefs win. Tks for your concern

Lisa- tks.  :-*

Baz-gonna send out a search party.  Hope you're not in  Hospital, etc.

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. And   #47.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheers and RRP / families.

Cute little sloth this morning in the puma on guard
I’m hoping that someone will get little 24 out of the nest at SWFL and perform a necropsy In order to assure no harm will come to the remaining three kids m15, F 23 and little 25
. Sure is odd that something would happen so quickly. I’m wondering if blood flow has anything to do with it
Thanks for posting clynn And BTW, I love the blue and your morning pictures such a great color
Monday morning, so I am going to do a little laundry having already washed myself

Good Morning Beakers

karen - Jeff is happy with how his team played this season.  He had a feeling they wouldn't make it, but at least they tried.

Lani - Congrats to the Chiefs!!  Thanks for the Royal update.  Baby sloth pic, so cute...thanks for the TRR pics.

tsk - Don't work too hard on your busy day.  Laundry day here.   :D

clynn - Loving the new floors!  Snow is not all the way gone, still have two piles that will need some sun, and the drive too.  I just moved my car towards the end, so the sun could hit were mine sits in the snow.  Its sunny today with a high of 43°.  So sad about E24!

((Phyl)) - I see you sent tsk a message, and I sent her one last week and she didn't get it.  Hmm, makes me wonder if something might have happened when Amy did the 2025 change over for forum.

Hello Beakers

Baz should be back soon - AO finals was yesterday - she has been logging in almost daily in the middle of the night.

Hit a low of 16 overnight - it is already 40 by noon, heading for 46.  Highs from 45 to 52 for the week.  :o

CLYNN    How weird was that honeymoon escapade.   Oh no  How sad is that E24 passing.  Sure wish they could find the cause.

PHYL   This is a time when days move like molasses.  :P   Testing out the new bird ID would be cool to do for those that have the time.

LANI   Oh my, the birth of that baby sloth was something else .  bungie cord  LOL  Interesting that they have never followed a 3 fingered sloth from gestation to birth!

Met with some of the girl group for lunch today.  One told of her horrible experience with the Norovirus.  First one I've know who has had it.  A horrible 7 days for her.  Makes me nervous!

I just read that the Florida wildlife folks and Crowl have talked about a 24 and they will be retrieving the remains and doing a necropsy. I am glad they are doing this and think it is important on many fronts
Old guy how did you celebrate your birthday with imagine you had a party with your Saturday cards and hope things were fun and went well
Task I have heard of people with  the norovirus And the stories were the same as with your friend a terrible thing to get and that much to be done about it except I guess, rest and fluids, etc.
Piper was just out in the yard and said there were a little tiny patches of snow left in her bathroom just a little bitty ones in the shade. I am sure they will be gone soon as it is warm and we have had a misty rain all day..
Going to sign off and read about the baby sloths and check into old guys links

Hi Beakers. I'm fine! LOL, thank you for asking about me. I haven't had time to post, and don't have time now either - but wanted to let everyone know that I am A-OK. So this is short.

Phyl, take care. Sorry for your injury and hope you find a way to get more comfortable as you recover.

Happy Belated Birthday, Oldguy! Sorry I missed your party. Prayers for your MIL, and hope she is recovering and in comfort, and hope your home didn't suffer too terribly from lack of water. Many very old water mains have broken in my town during this cold weather, due to their age and shifting of the earth around and under them, but luckily not in my neighborhood. It's hard to go without, and to follow boil water advisories. Take care. Eat more cake, if you have any left.  ;)

I have logged in only 3 times, that I recall, in the last week and a half, or thereabouts, to try to catch up quickly on posts, but without time to put my own post together.

This is quick - I'm in a dash, and hope I can get back here to post more soon - maybe tomorrow.

Re. people getting/not getting PM messages in Forum... I got a PM this morning from a Beaker, so it seems that's working, at least for me. I sent a reply PM, and hope that person gets it, but if not, hope they let me know.

RIP little E24 at the SWFL Eagles... so many things can befall nestlings, but I hate it happened, and glad it wasn't a long suffering. Thanks to CROW for helping to try to necrospy and find a cause/learn more. Fly high and free forevermore, E24!

Gotta run! Back tomorrow, I hope! Take care, All!

I hung up all of my fire worn .. washed before returning home apparel out in the barn to air out.

Pip went out there and upon returning said she thought the barn was on fire.   :o

My smoke sniffer must be a tad off because when I took it all out at the laundromat machine in CA it smelled like Snuggles to me.

That might explain why I had so much elbow room on the plane last night.   ;D

EDIT

All of Pip and I's Hazardous Material gear has never entered the abodes we've ever lived in.
My initial turn out gear included.

Relegated to Sheds/Barns/Out Buildings on wood pegs.

We transport it all in old school heavy duty dry bags.

Karen, Clynn, Very sad to read the news about E24.  :'(  Glad to read the news on SWFL cam E25 is alert and well. Both parents have been back to the nest to take care of E24.

Clynn, I'm as excited about the Chiefs win as Mike. I'm the bigger football fan and enjoy all the games... Mike is working from home this week. He has plans to leave for Ohio in a couple of weeks or so... I remember you sharing your honeymoon story, its sad he was so sick and doctors were unable to find out what he had... I still wonder if it was something he ate that his body was rejecting so severely. My SIL had that happen to her in Colorado. She was sick for a month, something in the water. Anyway, she lost 25 lbs. She couldn't keep anything down and physically she couldn't move.

{{{Phyl}}} I'm so sorry you're in a lot of pain... Hopefully, the compression sleeve will help give you some comfort. It helps Mike but for different reasons.

Lisa, beautiful morning cup

Oldguy, thanks for the Kilauea update... Very interesting about The Kotatsu...thanks for links, I'll check on the rest.... and the pup needs jumper cables.  ;D

Tsk, I'm glad your friend is okay.... I've heard of a couple of cases of Norovirus in Pine right now... but more people have had RSV in the valley... talons crossed we all stay okay and not catch anything..🙏

{{{Baz}}} good to see your post! You and Zippo take care, see you soon!  ;D
