Good Morning Beakers

tsk - Took my first dose of the additional oral med last night at dinner time, like I was supposed to along with my Metformin which I take at dinner.  My blood sugar was 57 two hours later.  That was scary to me.  I messaged her thru the portal to let her know.  Hope you can get your car washed today.

kb - I have everything Apple, except my PC...lol

clynn - Love the pic of the remembrance pic of E 24 & 25.  Thanks for the NEFL pic.  I am not a fan of taking meds as it is, and then having to change meds or add a new one puts me in a different frame of mind.

Lani - Thank you  :)  I tried the link you posted for karen, I got it to open.

karen - I hope M15 & F23 are away from the nest, just taking time for themselves.  Praying all is ok with them.

Phyl - Oh no, on having to reschedule.  Was there a cancellation list that you could get on to be seen sooner?  Thanks for the 365.

tig, Puff, oldguy, baz and all - Morning  :D

Good Morning!
Well, not in View Of the nest  cam, both M 15 and 23 have been seen flying around the area this morning. There are no reports from the camera operators or the site of any illness with these two adult birds I am hoping that this remains the case going forward and I cLynn mentioned they have double clutched before  Actually, I’m 15 and Harriet.
There are totally different environmental conditions at Northeast Florida than Southwest so hopefully this nest will be fine gallons crust.
Temperature is here with a possible 73° today and the 70s through early February I guess I need to look for my summer clothes as the winter has been short-lived. Piper says it’s getting nice in her bathroom Phyllis I am sorry it’s taking so long for you to  see an orthopedic MD.  Do you have any other options or are you OK with this? Seems like a very long time to wait what did they say? Patients heal they self.

Royal Albatross ~ RLK Is Back After Being Gone Two Weeks! 💕 1.29.25 video by Lady Hawk

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c16jsGzxvn4

Jan 28, 2025
GLG has been incubating a dummy egg for the past few days as the SST chick is hatching. The rangers keep the hatching eggs in a incubator during the entire process to protect against fly strike. She has been on the egg for 14 days! RLK is seen walking up to her and they have a sweet reunion with allopreening on another.

GLG gets up at 03:37 for the changeover and she moves off the egg and begins her gardening. RLK goes right on the egg to continue incubating it. GLG does quite a bit of gardening around the nest before she leaves heading off to the left. The SST egg has hatched and is right now being kept in a foster nest.  From Sharyn Broni - " A chick will be bought to the Signal Station Trig nest when we have one ready. The foster neat cannot be left on a dummy egg and their own chick is still a little way off hatching. I hope to have further news later in the day." Thank you for watching!! Clynn, Thanks for nest history... The SWFL Mods are keeping a close watch on the beautiful couple and have seen them in the area this morning.... Sweet photo of Beau and eaglet  :-*

Tsk, zoom meeting went well... I hope SWFL will let everyone know cause of death sooner. I'm hoping worries about the health of M15 and F23 will hurry the tests.

{{{Phyl}}}Love the Donut Friar! Perfect name!  Oh no, I'm very sorry your appt has delayed a week.  :( ... another cute sign for a salon... Thank you for Nature Video and RRP update, I'll read it tonight and catch up.... Take care, rest and heal.  :)

{{{Lisa}}} sorry about your scare last night... I pray it's better today and you hear from your dr.... I sent you an email.

Karen, so glad Piper's happy with her bathroom. Sadie would be concerned too. She's picky about such things.  ;D .... I read SWFL's too, so far M15 and F23 seem okay, I'm sure they are mourning their loss. It would be something if they had a 2nd clutch.... But then I alway's felt Harriet was infallible like Decorah Mom. She was a hoot! Both strong-willed AEs  ;D

bounce

I rode the recumbent bike yesterday. Pool today. Some excitement... an older gentleman had an issue while in the sauna. EMS performed CPR and he was revived and transported. Talons crossed...

Annual exam was great. BP 110/64.  8)  I celebrated by actually visiting the grocery store in person for some treats... avocado/sushi rice seaweed wrap for lunch for me, and a real pear (slurp); some bananas, cole slaw, some watermelon and a lemon bismark for Camper; etc.

Hugs all

PHYL   Oh no! Maybe you could ask to be on a cancellation list?  I read further and see that you are. That has worked for me a number of times.  Love the donut friar  LOL

LISA  You may have to spread those doses out. Let me know what doc says.    8 cars at the car wash - most having inside done as well.  I know when there are just  2 cars ahead of me and one getting hand washed in the bldg, it takes me 30 min. .  I'll just try another time.

LANI   Thanks for the Albie update.  :D

TIG   I can't imagine not going to the grocery store.  LOL

Hi Beakers,
I need help here.
Maybe Oldguy you might know what to do.

I have been receiving harassing texts on my iphone from a person. I do not answer it.
i keep deleting and reporting as junk. I've gone into my messaging and clicked the filter unknown callers.
This person is using an email. I've tried to block this.

This is upsetting for me.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you 🙏

Lani, I just sent an email to Erin, he said to try this:

Add that email as a contact in your phone then within the contact click “block caller” this should prevent them from texting as well

Clynn, I thought about doing what Erin suggested, and as I tried my fingers were shaking. I'm that upset and ready to take my phone to Verizon and have them help me.
But, you and Erin have given me the courage to go ahead and try it.

Serious abusive issues in my past have been triggered with this person texts. I've never had trouble getting something stopped before.
It's been very upsetting for a few days now.  :'(

I'll try it. thanks.

((Phyl)) - Oh ok, I didn't realize that was the cancellation list.  I thought maybe if they had an appt tomorrow or Friday, you could be called sooner.  I hope you are being careful walking around.

{{Lori}}

karen - So glad that Piper got her bathroom back.  :D I know the B&B kitties are glad the snow is mostly gone.  We still 3 small piles, one in back and 2 in front.

Lani - Thanks for the email.  Oh no, sorry that someone is harassing you.  I hope what Erin told you to do, is blocking that person from contacting you now.
Thanks for the Royal update.

tig - Excellent BP...much better than mine was yesterday...160/90  :-\  Prayers for the man in the sauna!

tsk - LOL, the car wash line is shrinking.  Doc messaged me back, she told me to try cutting the pill in half, and taking half at dinner to see how that works out, and take a whole one at breakfast as that is my most carby meal.  I have 30 minutes to wait to see what blood sugar will be...fingers crossed!

Good night, everyone  :)

(((Lani))), that is awful about those harassing texts!! I hope Erin's method works! Let us know! Are they coming from someone you know? Or is it just random, but repeated? Even if Erin's method works, I would contact Verizon to report that you are receiving repetitive abusive texts (or are they emails? ) from someone on your mobile phone. Verizon may have other ways to block them, and I'm pretty sure they have ways to report people using their phone service for abuse, and may recommend that you report it to the FCC as well. But they would definitely be able to advise you. If it is email, and not text, that you are getting from that person, then contact the company that owns their email domain name if it is a legit domain name, and if it's domestic, and report the sender. Of course, the sender could be using an email address that's fake. Most legit domestic email service providers require their email users to agree to terms of service that say they can't use that email provider's service to send abusive or fraudulent emails. But most of all, I hope Erin's suggestion works for you! P.S. Verizon cell phone accounts have a way to sign in to your Verizon account online and use a Block Sender/Caller list option on your cell phone number there that you can add phone numbers to, but I don't know if you can add email addresses, if that's what you have for that person. Just throwing out some thoughts... Most of all... Hang in there!!  HUGS!  :-*

Hi Beakers!  :)

I'm glad to hear that ((M15 and F23)) have been seen flying around the area of their SWFL nest today and apparently appearing normal.
  :-* :-*

Good night. Peace.
