PHYL   Thanks for Amy's blog!

CLYNN   thanks for all that info on " Latte Art "   Never knew there was a name for it.  Now I know how it is done.  ;D   Yes cook tenderloin on low about 6 hours or so.  Oh my gosh!!  Two cats frozen to a pole.  Wow What a rescue.  Glad they were OK.

LANI   Great close-up of RLK  :o   That map really puts it in perspective. Thanks

tsk - How did your appointment go?

Lani - Spent the morning cleaning off the car again, and went out for a haircut.  Rt. 50 is cleared of snow, but some side roads are still a mess. Our street has only had one pass with what they town has as a plow, and you cannot even tell it has been plowed.  My mailman got stuck in the snow in front of my house.  Thanks for the Royal update.

karen - I might have a place for those bobcats  :D

Ryan Hall reports:
Massive wildfire threatens LA communities right now - evacuation orders across Topanga, Malibu area as extreme winds fuel rapid spread. Multiple fires visible from AlertCalifornia cameras. If you're in the area, stay alert and ready to evacuate.

They just ordered evacs from high in the hills to the pacific coast highway...

Pics on google news.

With those winds forecasted well!

Fire is NOW approaching Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood!...wow, I used to live there.

And I'm still sitting here with an unusable upstairs toilet.....too dang cold yet.

LISA   Just got back from ortho appt.  Xray looks good - no arthritis  LOL  but a little fluid at rotator cuff insertion and some biceps tendon irritation.   Doc came in and had me talking a blue streak.  I didn't see it coming but gave me an injection during a time when he was explaining in a funny way how I should do some certain stretching movements  .  He was actually positioning my arm for the injection - Yow!!  I said " Nice trick to keep me talking and distracted"  LOL  Saw him about 2 minutes max.  His PA did all the work before he came in  I bet he sees 100 people/day!  Homework:    Use my arm - do stretches ( I refused therapy) and ice shoulder. Easy peasy.  LOL
I feel so bad for towns like yours anywhere in the USA that do not get big snowfalls and do not have adequate plows etc..  Your poor mailman.  Bet he dreaded getting out today.

KB   I don't remember you having that toilet issue in years past. ??? ???    LOLOL  funny pic of Ollie mourning his dead fish   ;D ;D   Scary in California.

TIG  Home in time to see casket brought into Rotunda.  :(

tsk - no in years past no. But just a few weeks back with brutal cold the same thing happened but opened as temps got close to 32 in a day or so.
Now it's not getting warmer so the issue continues. Now on day 3, and no above freezing in the near future.
I will have to reach out to someone brave soon..meaning to get on my roof and attic in cold temps.

Watching live feed from several places in CA on JLR investigates podcast....for awhile now
Many structures/homes now on fire....a huge machine is just moving left cars on the roadway. Meaning people got trapped on Palisades Drive and left their cars on the road and walked out. The firefighters have to move them to get to the fire. They are imploring people to leave the car keys in the car if you abandon it.
I recognize the areas very well. Winds won't die down till sometime tomorrow night.

However, There are worse things that can happen. I know.

Thanks for the weather info and  conversation.
I have  a stock pot of homemade chili simmering for tomorrow.
It's cold here...unseasonably cold.
29F still feeling like 19F with cloudy skies and a nightime of 27F.   No more rain today next will be this Friday  rain/snow mix---all day long into the night.
I should have gotten out today. I know.

Tsk--glad you saw Doc good news on Xrays and all. You got that right...that talking while they work on you is taught to future doctors in  first year med school.  ;D
Not to be bossy---do your PT.

KB- so funny Ollieman mourning his dead fish.  That fire in Cali...    :o   (to myself perhaps I should call Dan, anyway.)

Well Beakers hope you all had a good day at home or out and about.  Sending 'SEDs to all."

Just Saw a report stating that it is colder in Kentucky then it is in Anchorage Alaska, so Phyllis no wonder you’re cold. It’s no pictures later.
That’s no pictures Lisa stay warm I’ll slow down. I am not surprised that you’ve already been out.
Tsk, Good news on your shoulder x-ray and I’m pleased you don’t have to have rotator cuff surgery. That is nasty. Do follow directions and wash yourself around some on the PT. Hi sis, big for pain although many folks prefer heat I have a nice person.
Tig, Our Eagles, and press anywhere near all the California fires I can’t remember exactly where she lives but it seemed that she was in the Los Angeles area. Let her know I’m thinking of her and how she say safe.
Lani, thanks for the Alby report. The feathers on that little man are incredible. Looking to me and look like fabric. You really have to look and know that that is a real life heard I hate it that you are so close to the fire and getting all of that small it is unhealthy for you to breathe in that toxic ass family. It’s not fair this afternoon. Have they found out who the idiot is that is responsible for that fire I hope he has a tremendous amount of sentencing in the Way
There is a flat iron building in Chicago that is located at Milwaukee Avenue North Avenue and another That was a nice close the patio with all those plants a little chair in
street. When is the distance can’t remember anyway I always thought it was kind of interesting taking up all the available land between all those roads. Thanks for the reminder of that.,
Nice enclosed patio with all the flowers and fancy rug. Nice place to sit.
Two weeks ago at a shelter in Central new York receive a beagle mix. Two year old who is very pregnant. Below is a picture of mama and her nine babies. She is in a foster home and is Lisa’s rollup pool see below.

Nope Zero containment with winds increasing tonight. It seems to be at east moving west, not east, for now anyway. I forgot I worked at a Chiropractic Office in Pacific Palisades for almost a year...I was doing a residency before taking boards. Love that area. Have multiple friends as well from there but they moved up to Santa Barbara so not there anymore. Loved Topanga Canyon drive especially...

Been watching live feeds now for hours.
The wind did switch to the east and also west.

It's truly apocalyptic. Air support is not happening as winds are too strong and they have a call out for more firefighters.

I've never seen mandatory evacuations down the hills right into Santa Monica..the city of Santa Monica.

Night all. I fear in the morning the numbers will be horrific.

Kb, awww {{{Ollie man}}} ...the CA fires are heartbreaking. I saw quite a few X photos and videos of the fire surrounding homes, their decks, etc... terrible  :'(

Lisa, A girl's gotta get her haircut no matter what the weather!  ;D ... That's a lot of snow. I just read Tsk's comment,... poor mailman...  Nice to see the sun out.

{{{Tsk}}} glad your X-rays okay, a quick shot, a little home pt and ice shoulder if necessary. Sounds like the plan to take care of your shoulder.  :-*

Tig, watched the funeral too.

Phyl, you are having some cold temps. Take care.

BL, Terrible photo  :'(

Karen, If it's AE Shadow and Jack you're thinking of, I just checked their nest cam and all is well. But, I can't imagine all the wildlife being effected by the fires.... awww sweet mama Beagle and babies. I pray they all get adopted.  :-*

Good night! Prayers for all in harms way of the fires in CA and AZ.
