LISA   That's one healthy snow storm.   Snow blower would be helpful but you don't get that many big ones to warrant the cost.
Threw pork tenderloin in the crockpot this AM.  Serving with mashed potato and Brussel sprouts  ;D  Thanks for KAREN's post AEA honoring our National Bird  LOL

Tsk - Your dinner sounds delicious!  Yea, I don’t know if a snow blower would be warranted, plus I have a stone driveway.  One year while Jeff was weed whacking close by the stone driveway, he whipped up a rock and busted out my back window in my SUV.  I can see him doing something like that with a snow blower. 😂

Karen - We love chicken thighs.  Those SWFL kiddos are cuties.

Baz - Hope you are staying warm.  Did you get any snow?

Well this is weird. Don't think anyone from the Beak lives in this area, but I  still know lots of peeps who do.
Never seen anything like this. This is NOT Santa Ana winds..these are more from the north and to suggest to stay away from windows as 100 mph gusts might happen....just geesh.

Karen, wonderful pic of SWFL growing eaglets!  :-*.  Thanks for FB video by AEF honoring our magnificent American Eagle.

Tsk, I took Sadie to the dog park for 10 minutes instead of walking. The air cleared around noon. The fire is 19% contained, but they feel they are keeping it behind control lines. The afternoon air was much better.  :) ... pork tenderloin simmering in a crockpot sounds delicious.

Lisa, baked chicken thighs sounds good too... I hope it doesn't snow tonight.... Thanks for posting Karen's video... take care.

Baz, thanks for links... unfortunately rain isn't forecast until maybe end of January or later... Tonto National Forest is closed.

Kb, thanks for CA weather warning. I don't think any of the Beakers live in that area.

Phyl, glad Dan doesn't live in that area.... wind must be awful there, take care.

Take care and keep warm Beakers.

Good night!

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, I am so happy to hear that the air is better in Payson and the fire is a bit more contained! It's horrible to think that someone purposely started the fire, I hope they catch that awful excuse for a human being. I am glad to hear that they have closed the forest during this very dry time, too many careless or crazy people running around. Love the videos of Heidi and Opal playing! They are moving quite fast for a sloth! How do you cook your tenderloin in the crockpot? I ran across a recipe and thought I might try it tonight!  https://cooktopcove.com/2016/05/18/how-to-make-slow-cooker-pork-tenderloin/?epik=dj0yJnU9YzIwc2dHT1c2THNyenU5Q1RLblZobUtMM1hLdEhCR0QmcD0wJm49a2d6SzB4MjBfNWRFV2p5dVdUUHczQSZ0PUFBQUFBR2Q5RWxN

Lisa, so how much snow do you think you got? I am going to call Mom and check on her this morning. Springfield got 8+ inches, that's all I could find online. I noticed on FB that more and more people are providing B&Bs outside for feral cats, from fancy to plain and simple. A good thing!

Phyl, thanks for the pics of your sweet bluebirds, and that possum!  We have a possum that comes around occasionally, haven't seen a raccoon for a while! Great 365 yesterday, love watching the waders going back and forth with the waves. There must be a million of them!

LANI   Good to have an afternoon of relief from the bad air quality.  Tonto closed.  Amazing how dry it is for you out there,  Sweet good night Mama and baby  :)

CLYNN  What a colorful post this AM  That "patio" garden took one heck of a lot of planting.  :o   The recipe I use for the tenderloin is for pork chops but who cares.   I can of cream of chicken soup ( I use heart healthy), 1/2 can of water, 1 pkg of dry ranch dressing.  Mix and pour over tenderloin.  Tim loves the gravy and meat falls apart.  Our grocery had a sale and when they do I take advantage.  Buy 1 ( about 2 1/2 pounds which are actually 2 pieces) and get 1 free.  So I'm getting about 5# for $18.00 .  When I'm home I make 4 separate packages.  We get so many meals out of it.

Going to see ortho doc this afternoon late for my "puzzle-itis"  It's been a month and somethings not right.  Sigh.

Phyl, beautiful winter snow scene!  So you are known as the Mealworm Pantry lady, how cute that they come back and see you often! Today's 365, love it! Some of the Dunlins are sleeping, others looking for food. The sound of the ocean, I love hearing it...

tig, same as here, brrr. For some reason I feel colder so far this winter...

Lisa, it's 8° here now! High 22 today. But not too windy, only 9mph!  Love the morning coffee, what a pretty design! I googled Latte Art! True artists do it by hand, either with the pouring or a stylus tool. And then there are the latte stencils! That would be what I would have to use!

tsk, do you cook your tenderloin in the crockpot? if so how long and hi/lo? A couple of times a year our grocery store has good sales on port tenderloins, one time last year it was buy 1 get 2 free. I bought 2 ($20) and got 6! They are 1 pounders.  On no, your puzzle injury! The weirdest things start happening after one turns 70! Maybe wearing one of those wrist supports, it helps me. I don't like those thick bulky ones, I am on my second ACE brand, it's lightweight and very easy to put on and take off.

KAKE News - Wichita, Kansas
Two linemen in Norton, Kansas went above and beyond during Sunday's ice storm when they got a bit of an unusual call... A mother bobcat and her kitten were frozen to the top of an electric pole. The linemen, Dominic Urban and Eric Hartwell, spent two hours getting both cats down safely. Both mom and baby ran off together and seemed to be doing fine, Urban told KAKE.

clynn - OMG, the bobcats!  Thank heavens for the linesmen!  LOL, I would have to use the stencil too!   :D

Phyl - Thanks for 365, and RRP posts.  Stay warm with your bitter temps.  Temps here have only went up 4°.  Its now 27°, and the wind has calmed down a bit, so real feel is now up to 14°

tig - Stay safe and warm!

Good morning Beakers!

Clynn, Lovely morning spring posts.... delicious crock pot recipe... cool building... I would have to use a latte stencil too.... Oh poor mama bobcat/baby. I bet a coyote was chasing them. Bless the linesmen who rescued them.....  brrrr, 8 degrees there... stay in and take care.

Tsk, yummy recipe... sorry to hear you are continuing to have problems with your puzzle arm. I pray the ortho doc can be of help.

Lisa, Love this morning coffee....  I always check for "feels like" temps before I leave for our morning walks..... brrrr, it is cold at your home... stay in and take care.

Phyl, sweet little Dunlins in today's nature video.... thanks for RRP blog... I hope the winds will die down and it gets a warmer for you. Take care.

{{{Tig}}} brrrr, keep warm and take care.

Hi Karen, I hope you and Piper will have a good day.

I just took this pic from the USDA National Forest website. The fire area is now 7032 acres, only 19% contained. The smoke was thick this morning, as the sun warms the skies it seems to be clearing. You can see on the map how close Payson is to the area. Our HOA community borders Star Valley. Which can be confusing for mail as Star Valley has a different zip code. Sadie's vet is in Star Valley.
