Also my friend Kay's birthday, she passed away in April 2023. She would have been 63 today, I would be having her over for her Annual Birthday Dinner of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and finish with brownies with ice cream for desert...

Like Puff, I have no words for the heartbreaking tragedy in California unfolding before our eyes. It's hard to watch, you want to help and jump through your computer/tv screen put out the fire, rescue people, animals, wildlife... I'm so sorry...  I know the world will be sending their prayers. 😢 🙏

Clynn, Sweet houseboat community.... I know they love boat living in the UK... I've had vacationing on a houseboat on my bucket list for over 40 years. Mike is not a fan.  ... yep, I remember driving on icy roads.... happy to see the SWFL eaglets doing so well. Great job by their parents.

Like all of you I have watched the ceremonies honiring President .carter and will watch tomorrow’s  service at our National  cathedral.

Prayers for all affected by  the horrific fires in California and Arizona.    Terrible loss of habitat for humans, pets and wildlife!   Hard to imagine the scared remains.

thanks, Lisa...I know the area of the Palisades, Malibu, and topanga intimately. I watched live feeds till 1am last night. It feels like "home" in a way.

the Pacific Palisades is gone....including the whole business district and the one I used to work in. there are no words for this level of devastation. I'm speechless.
