The Pavilion Cam spotted 2 adult BE's pretty close to each other in the tress on top of the Hatchery bluffs earlier.

I just saw two eagles on a tree together.  They looked pretty cozy.

This is very blurry with the windy conditions, but two eagles are there.  Hope!

News reports about the dead eagle found by RRP will come in due time.  Looks to me like HM and HD perching together in a high bluff tree this morning and also this afternoon. 

At N2B, one of the eggs broke this morning between about 9:00 and 10:00.  My guess is that it got squished or rolled too hard.  N2BMG moved it to the edge of the nest.

Early afternoon, the BE pair were soaring around the hatchery.  One appeared to may have fished the pond and landed in lower bluff tree. The other one flew in a bit later and landed a lil lower in the tree, under the one perched above.

Pip and I have nick names for most every part / tooth of these bluff's.

I'm sure the front office has their own names.

A stunning view on a bad day I suspect every day.

Very windy morning in DE, which made for some cool looking landings on bluff perch, and the area the BE pair was perched yesterday to the left of the mid bluff.

Great pics, Lisa.  The closeness of these BEs resembles courtship behavior, seems to me.

Watching the Explore program with John and Amy just now -- There's no definite ID on the eagle that was found dead, yet.  Apparently not from avian flu.  The nest HM and HD were using has apparently failed at about the same time.  More information to come.
