PHYL    Any word from Dan yet?  TV video is scary.   Love those AM cardinals and the Santa - Kelly Allen art  :)   Who knew you could buy a prank box from Amazon  LOLOL

LANI   What a sweet good night pup.  :)

CLYNN  Love that door wreath.  Don't blame you about the ornaments.  Barb comes home from Florida for Dec. - She only has lights too as she takes everything down before Jan 1.  S&S - good kitties  LOL       Amazing photo of the fin whale skeleton.    KUDOS to Northwestern Energy and Dr Greene.  Those pics give a better idea of where that pole actually sits.

Felipe Pimentel (photographer) writes:

Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus). Seen today (12-4) in Long Island, NY. The photo was taken with an 800mm lens from a safe distance.

Hmm, I wonder if BL/Pip see snowies often in the NE....I hadn't known that.

We get lots of them here in MN during years when lemmings and voles are particularly in short supply in Canada.

Happy Friday!

Good Morning Beakers

karen - Thank goodness that tsunami warning was cancelled!

Phyl - Thanks for the 365. Hope you have heard from Dan.  Glad to hear you are almost done with your decorating.

Lani - Love that good night pic last evening.

clynn - Another pretty wreath this morning!  I am not putting up a tree this year.  I put up my two lil ceramic trees, just to have some lights.  We are getting new doors and storm doors on our house, and a new kitchen floor.  I will need to move alot of stuff from my kitchen to the living room while they do the work, so Jeff said he didn't want to put up a tree and have all that other stuff in the living room too.  I like your idea of all lights and no ornaments.  Thanks for the Hellgate info on pole replacement.

tsk - Does Barb & Tom do Christmas dinner with you?

kb - Pretty Snowy.  We had one visit MD a while back, when it was a lil more snowy here...LOL  It perched on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on one of the gantry's...talk about slow traffic that day!

Puff, tig and all - Morning  :)

KB   Love snowys  ;D

LISA   I'm with you on that - keeping Xmas down to a minimum in this circumstance.  When do they start?  What change is being made in the flooring?   Barb usually asks us to come to their house for Xmas.  We shall see.

LANI   Look at that dog face  LOLOL

KAREN  Moonlight butterfly begonia - stunning!!!!  Do you have those in your area?

karen - The Moonlight butterfly begonia is beautiful!

tsk - Work should start sometime this month.  My doors and storm doors had to be a special order, as the doors in my home are not standard size, so they have to cut the doors to fit.  This house was build in 1972, and are not up to today's standards.  My FIL put down my laminate flooring about 10 years ago, and he just laid it on top of the other vinyl floor that was originally there.  The contractor said, he will determine if the vinyl floor and anything else needs to be repaired after he tears up the laminate.

Woot woot!...this pup was found after being lost since tuesday.....ugg, in cold weather for now 4 days.
The community fb page helped along with the foster parents looking more than 12 hours a day. Construction workers found her here in the pic almost 20 blocks away from her home.  76th st  and 35W though she lives by me.

Apparently the foster's kids accidentally opened a door. Nonetheless, the community came to the rescue.

LISA   Are you changing to tile or wood or just keeping it laminate?  They make them to look like wood now - my neighbor has them.

KB   What a great story with a happy ending.   :-*

Lulu got her new treat toy today - Little bit harder than her usual ones but she'll get it  LOL  Actually she loves playing with my Yasso bar stick right now and certainly got involved this afternoon with the ribbon I was using to tie goody bags together today for the neighbors.  She's never bored  LOLOL
