Piper rolls my walker for treats!  I also have a gadget that has an emery board  like Substance on the top you put treats inside and  they get them out by scratching the emery board surface, and tip them. There are several on the Internet.
Dr. h uses purina for her large menagerie!  Says it is an  old trusted company.  I am using .science diet light.  Have used some if the special ty brands but quit buying them.
Tsk, .billy Graham and Montreat where he lived and taught is  located in The  Black Mountains, not far from the town of black mountain .  Lol
Lani, stunning kitty, last night.
Waving to all.  Oh,
Baz, is all ok with you and  Zippo!  Long time no hear!

Wow: we've had wind gusts over 50mph all day.
Just now had a white out of snow.

Can't believe maybe? the AI generated weather apps anymore or whatever reason.

Had planned on walking Ollie this am...but the projected above 32 degree temps happened overnight. Not during the morning. Snowed lightly off and on with above winds all morning. So, light snow turned immediately into frozen ice on all my decks out back. Two exits are now not safe. Trying to keep the front safe for Ollie and no I didn't walk him as intended.

We've had below average temps by "a mile" now for an extended period of time...not that typical.

And, when I get excited over expected weather app predictions of warmer weather, well: let down as these temps either don't happen or do over night or sometimes for ONE HOUR!

Luckily, Ollie at 9 1/2 has become a compliant couch potato, except for our indoor play with him.  :D :D

Karen Oh boy! I'd best watch out for what ever brought that. Awesome photo...Tks.  You take care when the flurries  arrive.
Hurrah for Wisdom!  ;)  Thank you for the update.

KB  Ollie's an elder gentleman now---glad you keep him in when temps dip.
LOL 'couch potato'.   Maggie spends her  days in my desk chair up here.  :-*
I've resigned my self to sitting in a spare dinning room chair to  work  at desktop. LOL

Clynn, Love your morning pics.... the dry food helps the cats with hairballs. My cats are always licking their fur.... Beautiful Aspen Mountain and town. We skied there a couple of times.

Tsk, yes the cougar shadow is real... the first time I saw it, we were driving by Superstitious Mountains after a visit with Shannon near Apache Junction. This was her first condo before she bought her home in Mesa. The sun was setting to the west of the mountain, I looked up as we were driving by and told Mike the shadow looked like a cat. He mentioned it's the Cougar's shadow. I wonder if the cougar points to the spot of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine  ;D That's another AZ tourist attraction there.... I've never heard of a treat puzzle for cats. I wonder if my boys would like that... I saw the Hellgate news too. I wonder if Iris will know it's a new pole, no fish scent  ;D .

Phyl, darling Christmas decorations... your English Lit classes sounds like fun... English lit was one of my favorite courses. I think that's where I became interested in anything from England... Love Pickwick Papers, that would be fun to be part of.... David Suchet is my favorite Pirot. I've watched the series over and over again.... thanks for Cheetah info, love the cub.

Kb, cute treat ball for pups.... awww Wisdom is back  :-*

Lisa, thanks for Karen's video on Crow, but I got distracted again by the rescue of the horse in the video below.  :-\ YIKES!! ... Do you think Misty would eat it if that's the only dry available. Bandit will be a happy boy.  ;D

Karen, Piper rolls your walker for treats  ;D .. beautiful snow pic.

Good Morning Beakers!

Wow, I overslept this morning! The wind here has been terrible, my flag was horizontal and more all day! We put trash receptacles out yesterday, I see some laying in the street!
Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Lani, I remember going to Superstition Mountain several times when we lived at Luke. I bought a Lost Dutchman's gold mine bracelet in the souvenir shop! I may try a treat puzzle on my cats, I have seen them before but mostly for dogs. I googled and omg, there are tons of them, from simple to complicated!

karen, how cute that Piper rolls your walker for a treat! Thanks for the CROW news!

tsk, Sam and Sophie each have their favorite toy, Sam loves pompoms, and Sophie loves the plastic springs, they carry them everywhere! We regularly have to fish them out from under the furniture. At night they will bring them to me so I can toss them off the bed and they can chase them, they love to chase things!

Phyl, very cozy good night picture!

Lisa, I used to get all my cat food on Chewey, but I now get it on Amazon, like you said, it's cheaper! Harley was on a prescription Science Diet food, canned and dry. It got to where he just wouldn't eat the canned, I ended up throwing most of it in the trash. The price was getting outrageous, so I stopped. He gets Purina for Urinary Tract Health and has been fine and it's been 3 years!

baz, hope you and Zippo are just busy!

HYPERION - World's Tallest Known Living Tree, Rising Above the Rest The largest patch of old-growth redwood forest, located in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, California - Hyperion is a coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) that was measured at 115.92 m (380.3 ft), which ranks it as the world's tallest known living tree.
Hyperion was discovered on August 25, 2006, by naturalists Chris Atkins and Michael Taylor. It was found in a remote area of Redwood National Park that was part of the original 1968 park boundaries.— with Wow Scenery.
It is estimated to be 600 to 800 years old and contain 530 m3 (18,600 cu ft) of wood.
The exact location of Hyperion is nominally secret. However, In July 2022, the Redwood Park superintendent closed the entire area around the tree, citing “devastation of the habitat surrounding Hyperion" caused by visitors, and now anyone who gets too close could face up to six months in jail and a $5,000 fine. (Wikipedia)
Researchers have said that woodpecker activity at the top may have prevented the tree from growing taller. Photo credit: Michael Nichols, National Geographic

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

LANI  This is what Lulu currently has.    You can cover the treat with the leaf or the red slider.  She just pushes away with her nose till she uncovers the treat.  ;D

The guys who put the pole up should have left a fish on top  LOL  Another cool reflection in cat eyes  ;)

CLYNN   Lulu has pompoms and  springs but loves best her soft little mouses that she retrieves.  I've already thrown it 4 times from my computer chair.  I forgot to pick them up last night before bed and had to hide them under my pillow when she was playing with them in bed around 3:45 this AM  ::) ::)  Hyperion - I fear for it.  Lots of crazies in this world
