Hello Beakers
A cool (39 for high) and cloudy day here.  Forecast has no precipt for the 10 forecast, but a warmer day on Sun and then continued cooling to a high of low 20s for Dec. 1

The new Microwave seems to take less time to heat food up - the old one I was using the high end of time range, but this one seems to work best at the low end of time range.

tig - Your mom's dressing sounds delish.  I want to use this recipe this year for my stuffing/dressing, but still make them into stuffing balls.
https://thecompletesavorist.com/sage-apple-cranberry-dressing

karen - Thank goodness the help did not come with the strep throat.  Cute peanuts cartoon.

Lani - LOL, Jeff is the same as Mike, adds something else to the cart.

kb - I do my household goods at Walmart, and every now and then will pick up something at the grocery, but not often.

BL - Wowza on that snow!

tsk - Yes, groceries are high here, and I even do the digital coupons for Acme/Safeway!  This appointment today was to go over one of the MRI's I had.  I went to the hand doctor.  He says, I have something similar to trigger finger, but its in the wrong finger.  My pinky keeps locking up after that fall I had in August.  I got a shot of cortisone on the palm side of my hand right under the pinky finger.  He said, give it two weeks, and if it keeps locking up to come back for another shot.

oldguy - Glad to hear the microwave is working out.

KAREN  Cute cartoon  ;D       Great piece that Lisa posted for you.  I've seen several of that type of a release on FB and those beautiful animals always acknowledge thanks in some way.  Very cool

OLDGUY   You are bound to see change in the technical aspect of the microwave in was it 30 years ?  LOL   Fat Xiang - The sleeping influencer  LOL   Claire and her cats.. ;)   Cute piece on the squirrels First Aid kits  LOL   Love the "Soul Man"  ;D

LISA   Tim would rebel if I ever put fruit in dressing  LOLOL   I was going to say back when you had the last doc visit that it sounds more like a trigger finger - Tim has had 4 different fingers treated for that.  Every time - his blood sugar zooms up for several days from the steroid - that 's the down side.  You'll have to let us know.

Looks like NN had protection all during the night.  Both on the upper branches keeping things covered.  There last night when I signed out,  and still there this a.m.

Morning to them - morning all.  Enjoy the whole weekend.

P

Both parents on the SWFL nest, too.  All taking possession and security measures.

Good Morning Beakers!

47 for the high today, 57 for tomorrow and not windy! Last days to get outside stuff done before COLD snap! 37 high for Monday...

Phyl, love your pink cats this morning!  Really snowing hard in the 365, the juncos don't seem to mind too much!

Lani, what a cute good night picture! I think Mike likes what many like for Thanksgiving, meat and potatoes!  But we love adding the extras too! I have had to add mac and cheese for the kids.

karen, great whale rescue story! Hope you are feeling better today!

oldguy, love the squirrel video, they are so fun to watch! You seem to like the new Microwave, great advancements in decades! The new one probably won't last near as long as the old one did!! Great Home Free song...

BL, the snow looks lovely, is that the Michelin Man in the upper right corner?  LOLOL!

tsk, my Dad called it the 'no squat pot' when they got one of the higher ones!  We have Chick-fil-a on Mondays (Ed gets a free sandwich for being a vet) and Subway on Wednesdays. Pizza on Fridays. This is Kelsey's schedule and we don't vary much.

Lisa, I don't think many men actually know how high grocery prices are! Ed loves rainbow sherbet, it was always 3.99, and the pandemic came and it went to 4.99. I went to get him some yesterday and it was 5.99. I just happened to get a survey request from the store, so I just went into a tirade about the increase. I also thanked them for their nice, clean store and helpful employees.  :o

This is what 11am looks like in “the land where the sun never rises” 🤢
In the heart of the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard lies Longyearbyen, the northernmost Arctic city in the world, located at 78 degrees latitude. With a population of just over 2,000, Longyearbyen works in as many ways as any other city. It has a supermarket, bars, church, cinema, school and even a municipal swimming pool.
What makes Longyearbyen unique is its extreme location and the phenomenon known as the polar night, during which the sun does not rise above the horizon for weeks or even months, creating a mysterious and mesmerizing atmosphere.

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

I was surprised to hear prolonged bird songs this morning on my video camera. I don't know why...it's cold out I guess, so researched which one:

"Of the close to 240 species of birds that nest in Minnesota, only about 20 don't migrate. Some include several grouse and owl species; four of our common woodpeckers (downy, hairy, red-bellied and pileated); the white-breasted nuthatch; black-capped chickadee; northern cardinal; house sparrow; and ring-necked pheasant."

It's either a cardinal, chickadee or sparrow...can't tell.

Our four legged friends as they say "don't deserve us"....sorry couldn't find cat vids but this will surely put a smile on your face!

Good Morning Beakers...Happy Caturday!

oldguy - Thanks for the videos, and Q-Kids!

Phyl - Thanks for the 365.  I love finding cozy cuppa's!  :)

tsk;D Tim rebelling.  Yes, the cortisone shot made my blood sugar go up last evening...201  :o  Went down this morning to 135...kinda a lil high for me, and that was even with my insulin shot last night.

clynn - Wow, that is a hike for the sherbet!

Puff, kb, karen and all - Morning  :)

Off to the grocery....be back later  :)
