Phyl, sweet picture of your Dad holding you... and sweet words from you...  We have ordered from Omaha Steaks before, I wasn't impressed with the filet mignon. Looked nothing like the yummy picture and had fat/gristle. I did get a refund though, after I let them know. I just wish they wouldn't add all those things like hot dogs, chicken, deserts, etc. to their packages. The other meat was very good, just not the filets.

Wow!....is every birdy okay?..

And why?....some of those large branches look dead...was the tree the problem, or weather?...wind/too much rain?....I have questions. But, am happy to see these babies look old enough to make it without a nest at this point. Am I correct? I haven't followed the day in and day out news on this nest.

Lisa, somewhere, maybe on the chat, I read that it was the weight of the nest with all they rain they have had. There is a video on the explore.org chat that I swear I could hear the limb cracking...the tree was already dead wasn't it?  I sure hope DN18 can fledge from the ground! Chat said they had a good breakfast this morning!
