I saw this on Twitter X this AM.
Scary and yet interesting where this could go from hurricane season to  hurricane season. I think.

Just heard report that 'Milton' could make landfall in FLA as early as 9PM ET tonight. Then south to
Naples. When we visited Jim's sis in Ft. Meyers we had rooms in a lovely hotel in Naples.
Such a beautiful and  upscale area . Sure hate to see it and any part of Florida destroyed. In fact anywhere in
any part of the planet destroyed by a disaster natural or man made.

Lani - Thanks for the Ryan Hall video.  I just saw a huge tornado from a FL news station, yikes!  Thanks for the Royal update, and the side note on "32".

Phyl - Sorry to hear that Jim is having a hard time recovering from his respiratory infection.

kb - Those tornadoes are scary.

Thanks lani.  I have been watching the swfl cam off and on all day and just looked at it a little while ago.  Still on and still wet.  Wind still blowing and the tree is still standing!    I am hoping the water in the nest does not  make the nest so heavy that it breaks the branchs!

A high school friend of mine lives on Siesta Key, where Milton landed.  I hope she was in Pensacola with her son when this occurred.    Prayers for all!

Happy Birthday Destini!  Enjoy all your goodies!

Unfortunately tornados are a bad part of Hurricanes!

Phyl, hugs fir Jim!  Sirry for his continued disconfirt! Does he have nebulizer treatments?

Lani, hope Mikes brother and family made out well!  Allother famiky members and friends as well!    Piper said, time for bed!  Seds!

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, sweet good night picture. All are waiting for daylight to see what the damage from Milton looks like. Sun coming up over Jacksonville right now...  Thanks for the Albie news, just few more to leave, it's been a good season!

karen, the SWFL cams are off, either the power was lost or they turned the cams off. Prayers for all the wildlife...

Phyl, peaceful sunset on the Flyway... Prayers for Jim, we need him to get better!  You too, how are you doing?

The Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) is the fastest bird in the world, and not only that, it's also the fastest animal of all. His daily flight goes around 100mph, but when it comes to hunting he is able to sting at more than 300mph. His entire anatomy is perfectly adapted for the extreme speeds he can achieve. Therefore it is not new that part of its aerodynamics has been adopted in the aerospace stealth sector.

Thanks .clynn!   The area around swfl looks normal this am!   Far less damage than my yard after Helene which turns out to have been a stronger storm!   One of last night’s tornadoes ripped thru a retirement trailer community !   Some how they are magnents for tornados!  Scary.   Waiting for wiskernwings to give a report.  Hope she is okay!
Morning Tsk and Phyl.
