As part of our 9/11 remembrance and pregame tribute tonight, the National Guard will conduct a flyover with four F-35 Lightning IIs from the 421st Fighter Squadron.

This might be why they were here yesterday....the F-35's..

Someone got a cool video of them all taking off out of MSP airport..it's on fb and it only can be shared to a clipboard. I don't have windows....I have a Mac operating system.
They are so loud, a few cars alarms were going off nearby..nonetheless, they are impressive.

Have a friend who's been out in Yellowstone since Sat.  Coming back tomorrow.  They were up at 4:30 this AM for a bear/wolf tour!!
She sent me a pic of an eagle and they've see 5 bison  LOL

Lol TSK. Except for some TVs and other various birds, and the hawks that sent us on our way and welcomed us back, we were not fortunate to see an eagle. Glad your friend did. We did, however, see at least 5 herd of bison and were close but carefully driving by a few single animals. Yesterday, in Custer State Park Camper got pretty close to a mom and calf that were behind a fence. She lay down for a while but sure kept an eye on him. Camper knew when it was time to retreat. They looked hot and bothered by flies... didn't need us hanging around.
We are about 15 minutes from home. Thanx for all the thoughts and prayers all. Except for that one hail storm, it has been a perfect trip.
